had me some clam chowder last night, with oyster crackers. I'll just say, I wouldn't bet any clams on the cards this week. but the chowder, was damn good. nothing new when if comes to any real factors that would hinder the bills chances this week? weather no factor, Dome. COVID has played a factor with most teams and hit the bills (Josh Norman tests positive for COVID, 4 Bills players out vs. Cardinals) this week too. so not a real surprise there. I'm expecting those filling in (Elevated for COVID and PS call ups include Darron Lee, Daryl Worley, Jake Kumerow, Josh Thomas, Dane Jackson, TE Lee Smith* will need to step it up and likely will. injuries are always a factor and the bills are still banged up with key players out in Ford, Hyde and Milano. the bills defense will not only have to contain Drake who is “planning to play” they will also have their hands full with Murry and his legs as well as his passing game. Can Bills Stop Cardinals? Arizona is the NFL’s #1 offense (422 yards per game) and the league’s #2 rushing offense (162.9 ypg). Neither of those numbers bode well for the Bills. Overall, Buffalo rank as the NFL’s #18 defense (364 ypg). However, when it comes to stopping the run, the Bills drop to #21 in the league (125.9 ypg). Allen vs Murray Allen and Murray are part of the new breed among NFL QBs. They can move the ball with their arm and with their feet. Murray leads all NFL QBs with 543 yards gained on the ground. His eight TD runs not only share the NFL lead among QBs, they are also tied for third overall in the NFL. Trend Spotting Buffalo’s third-down conversions will be an interesting subplot here. The Bills are third in the NFL at converting on third down (50.5%). The Arizona defense is #7 in the NFL at preventing third-down conversions (37.6%). The Cardinals own an NFL-best point differential of +54. Despite their record, the Bills are just +9. Arizona is the NFL’s #6 scoring offense (2.3 points per game). The Cards are just 2-2 straight up at home, while the Bills are 3-1 SU on the road. most of the sports media is leaning toward a bills win. last week many felt the seahawks were going to win. I said, any given sunday. it wasn't even really a close game right out of the gate. this week, I expect the same intensity. they seem to be getting more motivated as each week passes, especially on defense. there really has been no homefield advantage here in 2020 so I wont give the edge to the cards there. but, the cardinals have the better defense then seattle had (180 pts allowed) ranking at #6 while buffalos defense is and has been in unfamiliar territory, ranking at #22 (233 pts allowed). the least points allowed by the cards defense is 10 ( jets, cowboys ) and the most points allowed is 34 ( seahawks, dolphins ). the most points scored by the cardinals was 38 (cowboys) and the least scored was 21 (panthers). the least points allowed by the bills defense is 10 ( jets ) and the most points allowed is 42 ( titans ). the most points scored by the bills is 44 ( seahawks ) and the least scored was 16 ( titans ). offensively both teams are pretty well matched up with arizona at #11 (234 pts) and buffalo (242 pts) at #9. NFL picks against the spread for every game in Week 10 Bills @ Cardinals (-1.5) — Bills I'm going with my gut this week. I believe this young team is not going to lose any of the momentum from last week and will carry it right in to this game and come out with a victory going in to a well deserved bye week at 8-2. JA wins this QB battle where he and the offense score 4 tds and the defense finally gets a defensive score while Bass will be 5 for 5 on xtra points. 35 24

Anyone ever get bullied in school?
DaBillsFanSince1973 replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall
the school bully was much different in the 60's and 70's. in my case, I was bullied by some brothers, three in all, while on the walk home from school. most of the time a bloody lip or bloody nose was the gist of it and it wasn't long before I started to grow up and they eased up as they didn't take kindly to an ass kicking and eventually the bullying was out grown. today, for some odd reason, kids are committing suicide from posts on the internet, internet bullying. crazy. too bad those kids today couldn't take to heart the old saying "sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me". instead, they allow some coward of a kid who hides behind the internet to hurt them to the point of no return, again, crazy. this is a crazy world we live in today. -

what is this of the past the OP speaks of...? don't get stuck in the past 7-2 4-0 is looking the best it has in quite some time, enjoy the ride! Don't let yesterday take up too much of today. – Will Rogers -
I'll take the bills defense getting containment on Murry, pretty much duplicate of this past Sunday against a much better Qb and offense. the team, in every phase, seems to be getting better week to week and if they remain healthy, a team that may be one to be reckoned with? no, I believe this bills team is on a roll and not to get too cocky but bring your best game arizona, you'll need to. same applies to our bills, bring your best game, bring it!

Holy crap Daboll interview
DaBillsFanSince1973 replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
funny how a few good games and the OC is all of a sudden a GOD. I know, no one directly called him GOD but he sure looks to be worshipped all of a sudden. he was always a pretty good play caller, he just had/has to wait on his QB and offense to get it right, catch up to his philosophy's. which, like a fine wine, takes time. the rollercoaster opinions on Daboll will continue though, just have another bad game or two and there will be those calling for his head again. same goes with McD or as some who use the stupid nickname, McClappy. up and down, up and down with the weekly opinions. it's those fans that have had a pretty good feeling about these coaches and team all along that understands, it takes time. this team and staff have the potential to be a pretty darn good football team that with half a season behind them, the future looks good. -

Week 9 Around the League

what is it with Washington and the gruesome leg injuries to Qbs? Theismann Smith, who has come back from his own leg injury to replace Kyle Allen . NFL great Joe Theismann laments another Washington QB getting injured in November native American jinx? any other team in the league through the years share a similar unfortunate experience of such bad luck injuries? -

Week 9 - Predict the score (Seattle @ Buffalo)

another one of those/these home games with (2-4 in its last six home games) no real home field advantage. another empty stadium with piped in sound effects. a drag really. but, what hasn't been a drag with this pandemic. need to appreciate we have at least a game to watch and a team sitting at 6-2 and 4-0 in the division? how cool is that at the halfway point. weather, unlike the last game, should have no real affect on the game (Clear 65f.Wind: 4mi WSW Precip: 0%) so the passing game for both offenses will be wide open. question will be more about buffalos defense and being able to stop (DEFENSE Passing/Rushing) wilson and seattles offense from scoring more than seattles defense can stop allen and buffalos offense. which comparing the two defenses, buffalo certainly has the edge and even as most have felt buffalos defense has not been up to par, which it hadn't compared to past defenses yet are still hovering in the top 5, where seattle is about 28th in both pass and rush defense. moss/singletary: key, as well as JA making those tough runs for a first down. So the real story will be which offense will out score the other today and many would, including myself, give that edge to seattle but should keep in mind, it is any given sunday? Seattle has 6 rushing tds to the bills 7. Seattle has 26 receiving tds, to Buffalos 16. Allen Pass Yds 2194 16tds 5int Rate 101.9 Wilson Pass Yds 2151 26tds 6int Rate 120.8. also special teams. no wind or Inclement weather to deal with, actually a beautiful day in wny and another game giving buffalos future hof rookie K Tyler Bass some good game experience where he may again be key to a win, with his leg? Pete Prisco Jason La Canfora Will Brinson Jared Dubin Ryan Wilson John Breech Dave Richard Jamey Eisenberg SEAHAWKS (-2.5) AT BILLS Seahawks Seahawks Seahawks Seahawks Seahawks Seahawks Seahawks Seahawks Week 9 predictions from proven projection model pick against the odds? pick with your heart? picking against the bills makes you no less or more of a homer then those picking them to win does. we're all fans for the most part and predicting is just that, predicting, a wild guess and in some cases, a pretty educated guess. especially for those more in to the analytics or those who dabble in the betting game or fantasy numbers. this is one of those games where if you look how bad the bills played against the better teams like the titans and chiefs yet how close they played some of what most would consider the lower tier teams (wild to add the patsies in that tier) like the jets (I actually, regardless of record, always look for a tough divisional matchup) or even what doesn't look to be that good of a team in the LA Rams? still managing to be 6-2 at halfway mark of the season. which bills team shows up today? I believe it will be a very fired up bills team. I believe the bills have had a tougher schedule in reaching those 6 wins then seattle had in what looks to be the easier schedule and frankly Seattle didn't win any of those games in any type of blowout fashion and with a 13 point win over the mighty falcons being their largest margin. no, this was a game I pretty much wrote off any real chances of winning and looked at it as though a loss would not be critical due to it being a non conference team and although you don't want a loss it would not hurt playoff implications, too much? I say win the damn game!! right out of the gate, take control, protect your dirt!! Most factors favor Seahawks, but Bills will win in Buffalo 37 33 GO BILLS!!! -
looking like the little kid that got kicked out of the sandbox, turning away with blankie in hand sucking his thumb as he strolls off the playground. oh, by the way, I believe in no god nor as you say, sky god. but I do believe in aliens. a post like that from a hypocrite calling out the hypocrite, certainly warranted a response.
