  1. Jets do have Cheerleaders now. They are called, wait for it..........The Flight Crew. Some of the new Jills are, in fact, very attractive. So there.
  2. I agree with Bob. I think the Bills have a better chance to go 0-16 than they do to go 8-8. If they win 6 games it will be a minor miracle. Schedule is a killer.
  3. Dockery still took the money though didn't he? No problem taking the almighty dollars. Millions of them. That should have been motivation enough. However, it rarely is. Sad.
  4. Should hold a telethon/fund raiser/pledge drive/bottle collection/swap meet/bake sale/auction to raise the money for Ralph Wilson to pay the rest of Jauron's contract and get him the heck out of here asap.
  5. I think you have to look at the bigger picture. I'll use myself as an example. I have been a Bills fan since 1976. 33rd season coming up. In the previous 32 seasons, I have witnessed 6 great seasons. (80, 88, 90, 91, 92, 93) and 6 pretty good seasons (81, 89, 95, 96, 98, 99). Now, all 12 of those ended in heartbreak of varying degrees. The other 20 including the last 9 have been terrible yet I always have and always will come back every season for the simple fact that I love the Bills. Unconditional, senseless, gut wrenching, heart stomping love. Why? Don't know. Don't care. Just the way it has always been. My point is, I think people are just really fed up with the team they love not having any direction and just flailing away, barely having it's collective heads above water every year. We all know the stats. No playoffs for 9 straight seasons and staring 10 right in the face. No playoff win since 1995. 14 years and it doesn't look like it will change anytime soon. RW is a cheap old man. The organization he has put together time and again is a big joke. The coaches have been cheap and BAD. The drafts have been average at best. The Free Agent signings have been marginal. The Free Agent losses have been big. They gave Toronto a HOME game. Yet, the Ralph is still sold out every game. The local TV ratings are among the highest in the NFL. Merchandise sales are always big. There are Bills fans all over the country and the world. All we want is a winner. All we get is the same old crap with different names except for the guy at the top year after year. Frustration should be evident. Crazy, out of control, full retard frustration should be the norm. Nothing we can do about it either except show that frustration here or the other few outlets there are. It's kind of like group therapy.
  6. 4/33 and 0 TD's. So it begins.
  7. I'm not saying they will be 1-15 because the cut Walker. Walker sucked. He didn't want to be at LT and it showed. I had the Bills at 3-13 before they cut Walker. I'm not saying Walker was worth two wins either. If anything his contribution was worth more losses than anything. What I am saying is the OL as a whole is very young and very inexperienced. Takes time to build a solid O-line. 1987 for example. Wolford, Devlin, Hull, Ritcher, Ballard. Devlin was the veteran and was out after 88. Young, mostly inexperienced line. Ballard almost got Kelly killed a few times. By 1990 they were one of the best if not the best in the NFL. Is there a plan now? Play the young guys- Levitre, Wood, Bell along with Hangartner and who? Chambers? and let them develop together, if that is the case, great. We all know it is going to be a long, long year with a young o-line. I'm cool with that, if that is the plan. My problem is the head coach is not and should not be part of any rebuilding plan and the Bills should not say it is anything other than a rebuilding plan at this point. The TO signing baffles me more and more. This team is in no position to compete this year. Give me a new- GOOD- head coach and let's see what the plan is going forward. Right now they just seem like a big, giant mess with no direction and no plan. I'd start by scraping the no-huddle. Fewer plays the offense runs the better it will be for Edwards. More he takes a beating the worse he will be, now and going forward.
  8. Ooooh...my arm....I think it's broken. Noonan will play. Forget the no-huddle, go to a wishbone or the T formation or the Single Wing or whatever the hell. Keep Trent alive for awhile. I'd huddle every play to cut down on the number of plays they have to run, go shotgun every play and just get rid of the ball asap. 20 dump passes, check downs and screens and run it 40 times a game. Run the wildcat with Roscoe. Punt on third down. Quick kicks. I'm out of ideas. Should be fun to watch. Optimism is at an all-time high.
  9. That doesn't mean they are any good.....yet. They will take a serious, serious beating this year. They will be better off in the long run but that doesn't do any good this year. Call it what it is. Yet another rebuilding year. The only thing I don't get is why sign TO? Could have saved that money as well, look the fans in the eyes and say "We have sucked for 10 years and never had a plan, we will suck this year but we now at least have a plan" I don't care if they do go 0-16, I'll still watch them every week. Just give me a solid plan with a solid coaching staff and a real direction so on 563rd thought, actually, until they get a real head coach in here they will never be any good no matter what they do.
  10. All about saving money people. All the tickets are already sold. Next year is looking more and more like it will be an uncapped year. Think Ralph is going to spend any money? Hell no. Save $5 million over the last week. Very nice Ralph. Then when the Bills go 1-15 this year and everyone gets all excited over the #1 pick and sells out the season before May, the Bills will trade the pick so they don't have to pay the guy. Then they will go 0-16 next year because RW will cry poor in an uncapped year and say he can't compete with no salary cap and then the following year there will be no season due to a lockout or strike. There's your next three years of the Buffalo Bills. At least Ralph will not be cash poor in the afterlife which I think is his only plan at this point.
  11. Correct. #12 in honor of Jim Kelly is the only officially retired number. Respect for Simpson? THAT is the Bills problem. The OJ curse. Bills have not won a playoff game since 1995 when all that trial business was going on. The refusal to take OJ off the Wall. He needs to be taken off the wall and someone needs to wear #32. That is what will turn things around.
  12. 3-13. Maybe 4-12. If they go bad as it seems like they will, they should go really bad. 0-16 would be ideal. I figure winnable games are Tampa Bay, Kansas City and Cleveland, maybe the Jets. Tough schedule, bad head coach, bad offense- how bad do they have to be to get Jauron fired? I think Dick was saving his own behind today. Just delaying the inevitable. I hope he is gone by the time the first snow flies- October.
  13. I usually never care about the preseason. This one though is just about the worst that I have ever seen. The offense is pathetic. I don't know what to think other than the defense shows promise but unless they throw a bunch of shutouts and score alot, it's going to be a long, long year. If the no-huddle continues to blow (and I see no reason why it will get better) the defense will be worn out by week 3. Will TO make that much of a difference? Who knows? I'm thinking 3-13. Tampa & KC could be winnable games and throw another random win in there somewhere else- Cleveland maybe. Anything over that will be a surprise. Just hope that they are bad enough this year to get Jauron & Schonert fired.
  14. Someone on justin tv said they tried two links and neither worked. Other stuff I tried, nothing works either. Looks like radio only. Massive traffic jam late this afternoon in Buffalo due to a bad accident. Thruway, Skyway, main streets heading out to the Ralph were just one big parking lot and that was at 6pm. Hear the stadium is pretty empty. Radio for everyone I guess. Replay is on WKBW tomorrow night at 7pm.
  15. No he is not
  16. I was wondering if a head coach was ever fired in the preseason. I think Bills fans would be excited if Jauron got fired today along with the rest of the coaches. I'd cut half the team also. Blow it up in the preseason. Chiefs may start a new trend.
  17. Ridiculous. Let's say a team is punting and there is a flag, offsides or whatever. Punter just has to kick it off the board and it's a do-over. No penalty. Whatever happens on a punt, if it accidentally hits the board it's a do-over. Could change the outcome of a game. If I was a punter on the other team, I'd kick it off the board 10 times in a row just for the heck of it, try and break the thing. I would have made Jerry D-Bag take the screens down immediatley.
  18. I have been on it for 2,002 weeks straight. Not getting off of it ever. Either you are a Bills fan- no matter what- or you are not.
  19. Yobouty, Simpson, Denney, Fine and don't be surprised if Roscoe Parrish is traded.
  20. Bills-Oilers. If I remember correctly, for some reason that year the Bills didn't make season ticket holders buy playoff tickets ahead of time. Bills got crushed in Houston the week before to end the regular season. Plus it was right after Christmas/New Year's and also at that time nobody expected the Bills to go back to the Super Bowl for a 3rd straight year. They did sell 75,411 tickets in 6 days and don't forget that was the pre-internet days. You actually had to go to Rich Stadium or Ticketmaster (may have still been Ticketron at the time) and buy them. Nowadays with the interweb, it would sell out in less than a day. I can remember only two other games not being on TV here in the 90's. The 96 Jacksonville playoff game was blacked out and I believe the opener the following year was blacked out as well. I remember the 1980's very well. Very rare for a Bills game to sell-out in time for the blackout to be lifted until Jim Kelly showed up in 1986. Even in 1980 I think only the Raiders game was on local TV. Really, it didn't get crazy until 1988. I believe only a Packers game didn't sell-out in time to be on TV that year. I taped all the games and that was the only one I can remember. I was at them all so it didn't really matter to me.
  21. "October 25, 1989- Buffalo Bills assistant coaches Nick Nicolau and Tom Bresnahan got into a fight Monday while reviewing videotape from Sunday's victory over the New York Jets, leaving Bresnahan with facial and head injuries, according to a report in the Buffalo News. Nicolau, the wide receivers coach, reportedly knocked Bresnahan to the floor with an uppercut to the chin in a meeting room of the Bills' administrative building at Rich Stadium. Bresnahan, the team's offensive line coach, received a cut that required stiches. Sources said Nicolau then placed Bresnahan in a headlock and rammed his head through a wall" You know you have a good team when you win and the coaches scrap.
  22. Coaches fight all the time. Usually not publicized but it also doesn't usually end up with broken bones . There was one famous Bills coach fight in 1989. The Bickering Bills era. Could only imagine this place if there had been an internet in 1989. Anyhow, I forget the names at the moment but one coach put another coaches head through a wall. The one coach who went through the wall showed up at the meeting that day with his head bandaged. I'm all for it. Someone should pop Jauron every once in awhile and wake him up.
  23. My all-time favorite comes from a frozen pizza box- "Cook before eating" How stupid or wasted does someone have to be to not know to COOK the pizza before eating it???? I want to see that moron.
  24. I think KOJ is on his way out along with Yobooty. Lankster was impressive not only Saturday but all through camp so far. I like Corner as well. Byrd is now practicing. Simpson and Youbouty were just bad picks. Time to move on.
  25. Just reading about getting rid of/preventing blisters. He needs to soak his feet in pickle juice. Or whiz on them. Either way works.
