I don't care if they sign Reggie McKenzie and Joe D. Just get a couple OL in here ASAP.

TO and Ratings. Pure and simple. Fox said we want TO on at 4pm. Bob's your uncle. Done deal. I love the 4 pm Bills games. I'm not a morning person. I don't like to get an early, early start on things. If you live in the west then the game is at 1pm as opposed to 10am. Imagine starting to drink at 6am for the 10am start? (as opposed to 7am for most of you) Maybe they are getting people used to watching the soon-to-be LA Bills out there. Kidding. If the Bills leave Buffalo someone is going to prison.

How can we make things right to Leodis?
kasper13 replied to drinkTHEkoolaid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Get him a 10 gallon pail of Stickum. Have the two 16 year old utes who did a stupid thing cut his lawn/shovel his driveway for free for the rest of the time he is in Buffalo. I seriously doubt he is shaken by this. He didn't even want to press charges. Forget it and move on. If he fumbles again, boo him like there is no tomorrow. If he takes one back or has an INT, cheer him. If you want, bake him a frickin cake for all I care. You know who overreacted? The Media. Same loser WNY media who was stalking Keanu Reeves for the last week. The dumbest, most useless garbage gets the most attention, It's sad really. -
1. Convince Ralph that his money is no good in the afterlife so he should spend it now and enjoy a Super Bowl win before it is too late. 2. Fill a Brinks truck with some of Ralph's previously mentioned money. Drive it to Bill Cowher's house. Say "Bill, you are the new Coach/GM of the Bills. What else do you want/need besides the money, you got it and do what you need to do to win it all" 3. Switch from a 4-3 to a 3-4 Defense. Seems to be the trend these days. If the offense continually practices against it, shouldn't they be good at playing against it on Sunday eventually? Get a LB with a good left arm. 4. Draft Tim Tebow and switch to the spread offense. Urban Meyer made a good point last week when he said the spread offense would work in the NFL it's just that nobody has the guts to try it. Why not be the first? Someone was the first to try the West Coast offense, run & shoot offense, the 46 defense, whatever. Some of those teams won championships. 5. Draft better. Address needs instead of taking 9 DB's every draft. 6. Sign a few good free agents. 7. Forget cash to cap and spend to get some quality depth in here. Poz goes out and Marcus Buggs starts. Buggs may be good someday but he has no experience. You get the point. 8. Forget the Home Game in Toronto. Takes away a home field advantage for one game. Stupid. 9. Need to be more agressive and get some big hitters in here. Punish teams. Make them give up before you do. 10. Learn how to close out (WIN) a game when you have a lead with little time left.

Leodis McKelvin's property vandalized
kasper13 replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Stupid? Yes. All around stupid. Hardly worth all the media outrage and people calling it horrifying, shocking and over the top though. One person did something incredibly dumb while no doubt highly intoxicated. Drunk Bills fan. Geez, those are as common as snow storms in January. Took the loss too hard, had a few too many Genny's and did something stupid. Isolated incident. Move on. I am not horrified. I will be un-politically correct here, I think it was a bit amusing that some idiot would take the loss so hard they would even consider doing something like that. Be thankful that is all that happened. Some soccer fans have done much worse. What scares me is that now Bills players are going to arm themselves to the teeth to protect themselves, just in case. How long before someone pulls a Plaxico? I blame Tom Cruise for this. Versus has been showing All The Right Moves like 6 times a week. Ampipe lost the big game because Craig T. Nelson made a bad play call and they trashed his house. I'm just saying, media influences small minded people to do stupid things sometime. -
I Haven't Attended A Bills Game In Buffalo In 12 Years
kasper13 replied to Dante's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Anybody who wears a full size authentic helmet sitting in the stands must have taken the short bus to the game and understandably forgot to take their helmet off before being helped into the stadium. What's next? Full uniform? Helmet, shoulder pads, football pants, spikes and a jock? Seriously, those people need to get a life. YOU ARE NOT PLAYING IN THE GAME. No need to wear a friggin helmet! -
Whomever is cheapest. Seriously though, Pat Thomas seems to be the one name that is out there. Any word on Kelsay? Do we need a DE also?

Could the Bills be 6-2 at the break?
kasper13 replied to dollars 2 donuts's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, hell, they could be 7-1, finish 15-1 and win the Super Bowl but they won't. The really disturbing thing is they had 2 months to plan for New England and still lost. Injuries, poor coaching decisions and bonehead plays will continue to plague the Bills. People need to stop the insanity and take a look at reality. Week 1 is not usually a determining factor in how the season plays out. Yes, the Bills played well last night for 55 minutes and still lost. Or did New England just play badly for 55 minutes and still win? 2-6 at the bye if they are extremely lucky and yet Dick Jauron still keeps his job. Bank it. @New England - L Tampa - W (Barely.Unless they make the same mistakes they ALWAYS make) Saints - L (Not stopping Brees and Co.) @Miami - L (Miami is a better team than the Bills. I see this one as a bonehead coaching decison leading to a L) Cleveland - W (Maybe. Bills have had problems with the Browns even though they are allegedly the better team) @ Jets - L (Jets D is the real deal and they have a better head coach and a better QB) @ Panthers - L (Panthers are kind of sucky. Dellhomme will find his game on this given Sunday) Houston - L (Schaub and Slayton will be in full gear. Texans aren't as bad as they looked against the Jets) -
This is not ONE game. This is three games on Monday Night, three years in a row. One simple, obvious to everyone but those coaching the game decision and they are all wins. I won't even go to all the other losses just because of dumb decisions. Definition of insanity: Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Dick and company coach games to not lose over and over and yet always lose. Dick Jauron is insane and a loser. He flat out sucks at the whole head coaching thing, no other way to look at it. Fans are all crazy too, myself included. Unfortunatley, RW will not fire Jauron because he signed him to a three year extension last year. RW would have to pay Dick for 2009, 2010 AND 2011 plus pay another coach. Will Ralph really do that? The season will have to go really bad, say 1-5 for the fire Dick watch to really heat up. I would have fired him last year. I probably would have snapped last night and fired him and hired Gruden right out of the booth. I never would have signed him to a contract extension. I would have never hired him to begin with if I think about it. We'd be in year 2 or 3 of the Bill Cowher Era and would have won last night.
-
I don't disagree but this is third year in a row on a Monday Night we are saying these kinds of things. Isn't that disturbing to people?
-
Ah, you are like a battered woman. Keep coming back for more. "Oh, he didn't beat me that bad this time, he'll change". Up by 11 with 5 minutes left and yet found a spectacular and stupid way to lose yet again. Therapy man. Therapy. At least it was a moral victory. They only lost by 1 instead of the 50 it was supposed to be. Ridiculous.
-
Just looking at Monday Night Games. That's three years in a row, each worse than the previous one. All under Jauron. Good teams win by the third time, heck the 2nd time. First one was supposed to be a learning experience and a character builder yet they keep doing the same stupid things over and over. Bad teams lose just like the Bills did tonight. No such thing as a quality loss. A loss is a loss is a loss and stuff like what happened tonight shouldn't happen after three years. Unfortunatley, as long as Jauron is the head coach it will continue to happen and the Bills will continue to be losers. I'd almost rather see a blowout. That way everyone would have said that's what was supposed to happen. To be up by 11 with 5 minutes left and find a way to lose is beyond excusable. I say it's a fireable offense this time around. Dick must go or it's yet another wasted season.

That was absolutley the wrong decision to bring it out just for the fact of what COULD happen. Damn, then it did. Have to play the percentages. What are the better odds of winning? Taking the ball at the 20, running three plays, maybe Jackson gets a first down and they can kill the clock. 2nd worst case, they punt and New England has to go 60-70 yards with no timeouts to win. Probably would have but still. Worst case, run the ball out of the end zone and boom- fumble. He did fumble earlier. How does a coach or the Head coach not tell him "Ball is kicked into the end zone, under no circumstance do you leave the end zone. Take a knee. or else." Then Jauron agrees with the decision to run the ball out. Incredible.

What Jersey Are You Wearing Tonight?
kasper13 replied to CJPearl2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
White Jim Kelly w/ SB XXV Patch. Wear it only once a year fot the opener. Got it the week of SB XXV. Will break out the new white Chinese knockoff TO throwback next week. I just washed my car with my Losman jersey. Some birds went to town on it. -
Is it ESPN or NESN? Already hate Son of God on ESPN and Harrison on NBC. Just go away! I really do not want to have to listen to the Pats Love Fest tonight. 97 Rock it is. I just saw the Tom Brady interview on ESPN. Really, is it wrong to wish he gets seriously injured again? Honestly, what a pile of used douche bags that guy is. I'd give my left arm for a 50 point Bills win tonight.
-
I changed my mind. The way EVERYONE and EVERYTHING is against the Bills right now I think they will win tonight. I am beginning to think they were sandbagging it during the preseason and will shock the football world tonight. Yes, I would pass a drug test right now and no, I did not start drinking at 9am. Just a feeling.

Biggest upset in Bills history
kasper13 replied to BillsFanInRochester's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think the comeback game qualifies an an upset. It was a playoff game and an amazing win. One of the biggest in team history. Beyond incredible comeback no doubt. I recall the Oilers spanked the Bills the week before but I don't think it was a huge upset. What qualifies as an upset? Winning a game against an allegedly far superior team that nobody gives you a chance in hell of winning before the game begins. Think Super Bowl III. Jets beating the Colts was an upset. I think the biggest upset in Bills history was the 1980 opener against Miami. Nobody expected the Bills to break the 20 straight game Miami win streak. Last time the Bills beat the Pats was an upset win. So, Bills have lost 11 straight and 16 of 17 to the Pats. Road game, Monday Night opener. Return of Tom Brady. 11.5 point underdogs. Bills offense apparently a huge train wreck. I think a win tonight would be the 2nd biggest upset win in Bills History behind the 1980 Miami game. -
The Bengals definitley Buffalo Billed it. Sure the Bills could that. They could do that and there could be a flag on the offense and it would happen again on the next play. I saw the Bills blow an 8 point lead with 20 seconds left to Dallas once. I saw the Bills blow a game against the Browns on MNF last season because they were afraid to win. I saw the Bills blow a playoff win on the last play on an illegal trick kickoff return. When you have a cheap owner that hires bad/cheap coaches, has bad drafts and poor free agent signings that stuff happens. Speaking of the Browns, today was the first time their offense scored a TD since the Bills game last season. Jeez.
-
At least we aren't Bengals fans. That is something I guess.
-
Nobody is really doing much of anything offense (i.e. stats) wise. Thought Houston was supposed to be good this year. Detroit-New Orleans ia a good game. Miami is full of trick plays that don't work. Cincy-Denver, Yikes. KC playing Baltimore close. Typical Week One if you ask me. Defense rules in the NFL.

Guess Which Unemployed NFL Coach is Golfing
kasper13 replied to CosmicBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Cowher is full of it. For the right amount of money and power, any coach would go anywhere. Half a hypothetical situation because I doubt RW would ever spend the money but let's say after the Bills miss the playoffs again and fire Jauron, he calls Bill Cowher and says "Look, I fired Jauron, we haven't made the playoffs in 10 years. Name your price and what titles you want, bring your own people in, whatever, you got it. Come to Buffalo and turn us into a Championship team". Really think Cowher or Shanahan or anyone would say no? I think they would be here in about 2 minutes. You'd have to be an idiot not to. -

5 things that need to happen for a Bills win
kasper13 replied to Reddy Freddy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
1. Entire Patriots team is struck with Swine Flu and Food Poisoning. 2. Bellichik gets amnesia and forgets who he is. 3. Brady gets injured during the national anthem and does not play. 4. Severe wind storm but only when the Patriots have the ball. 5. Bills are allowed to play 11 while the Patriots can only have 8 players on the field. If ALL of that happpens, the Bills could maybe pull out a close one. -
Bellichik, Brady and Patriots run up the score to make a statement to the rest of the NFL. Patriots 54 Bills 12.

WITH ALL THIS GLOOM AND DOOM
kasper13 replied to SUNTANBILLSFAN2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am excited just for the fact that the NFL is back. As a lifelong Bills fan, I feel like it's another long, frustrating season ahead starting with the Pats 12th straight decimation of the Bills. We are getting close to Miami proportions here. I'll watch it. All of it. Always do. I just don't get any of the optimism. If you have to talk yourself into it, feel free.
