I'm on the record as having said that Codrington should have been protected that last game because of his extremely high leverage touches. HOWEVER. There are two people on the PS who can do the job in a pinch. Hyde can catch punts all day and be fine regardless of his age. Daquan Hardy is also on the PS if you need a returner AND last resort CB depth. Of those two I'd rather Hyde, but the weather Sunday will be fine so Hardy could get it done also I'm just extremely risk averse at that position.
Well since I'm not the GM either nobody would actually ask me, but since this is a message board where people who aren't on or involved with the team come to talk about it and I'm presenting a hypothetical situation where I were the GM the usage of I and us is appropriate.
Go to bed.
I think the Chiefs have moved on. He's not the same player after the recurring foot injuries and he's not getting younger (31 entering next season). Raiders?
Put it this way. I wouldn't take him if Miami paid us to take him.
I disagree entirely. It invites the sort of game that our defense struggles to stop and it neutralizes some of what our offense does well. Maybe if you're playing a warm weather weak team like Miami but these guys are from Denver. Some cold weather isn't going to faze them that way.
