  1. No, I have no faith that they will hire anyone competent so it really doesn't matter if I take the mystery box coach or not. I guess just stay with McDermott and his neo-Jauronism then because, well, he's here, and he accepts our checks. But they didnt and the way that game was going nobody could have been that surprised that they didnt.
  2. Unfortunately no. I've just never been on the McDermott train and he's done nothing to change my mind. He took a good defense in Philly and wrecked it, he had a mediocre, soft, defense in Carolina and he's had a mediocre, soft, team here. I see so many people talking about culture and character and blah, blah, blah. Today was a game they needed to win and all their culture didn't do squat. Their soft defense got smacked around all afternoon long, again, and they still managed to hand them a lead with 4 minutes left. They needed to make them punt once. Nope. Barely even slowed them down and they didn't luck out in the red zone the last time. Needed a touchdown to win the game and they let clock run to obviously play for the tying 53 yard FG. Best case scenario, they make that kick and then what? Go into overtime with a defense that has let the Browns march up and down the field? Soft is a culture too and this team is soft. Soft and timid. So fine, keep McDermott and see more of this, because this is what he is. Or fire him and hire someone else and possibly see something different. maybe better, maybe worse, maybe the same but at least there is an opportunity to be successful. At this point? Whatever. And someone I'm sue will respond by saying they are 6-3! how do you consider firing a 6-3 coach?!? This is the worst 6-3 football team in the history of the league and they are in the process of being exposed in a big, big, way and to call what is coming anything more than an epic collapse is fooling yourself. Who will the fall guy(s) be so we can keep the faith with McDermott?
  3. I think Dick Jauron would definitely make the playoffs. I'm pretty sure McDermott won't. Take that how you will.
  4. I guess I'll respond by saying this. If you gave Dick Jauron this team, do you think he could make the playoffs?
  5. This is a fair, well balanced, response.
  6. Fwiw, I don't think bojorquez got the ball turned all the way on the last one but I already don't know why he has a job so, whatever.
  7. Explains why some people have so many posts...
  8. Really? You couldn't see that coming? I didn't even have to watch it. I said to my wife, "he's going to miss this left." Then went to the bathroom. Expect the Billsiest things possible. It's easier and more often than not you'll be right. 8-1 betting the money line in Bills games this year. It's like stealing.
  9. Keep telling yourself that. 9-7 with no tiebreaker over Baltimore or Pittsburgh or likely Oakland
  10. I think losing 4 straight from Thanksgiving into December to go from 8-3 to 8-7 needing to then beat the Jets and get help to sniff the playoffs is a pretty epic collapse and that's exactly what they are staring at. Provided they can beat Miami and Denver
  11. If you've watched any of the last 3 weeks and don't think Elliot is primed to have a massive day I don't know what to tell you.
  12. Play each other twice a season with stuff on the line and that animosity will grow pretty quickly.
  13. Interesting follow up question, which leg do you begin walking with?
  14. Yeah it was great fun losing to him all the time...
  15. If they labeled Bleu cheese as a probiotic it would become all the rage.
  16. You are horribly ill. Seek professional help immediately.
  17. Who is the 4th team in that scenario? Cincy or Detroit.? Cincy makes it simpler in that you just swap buffalo and baltimore, but if you really wanted a bigger makeover of divisions Detroit makes some sense also because you could put Cincy with indy
  18. It's a huge issue, unless we have the ball and need to gain a yard. Then? Then everyone is the 86 Bears.
  19. My wife is totally into it. I refer to it as "Pissing Money Down a Hole"
  20. He's alive though. What if I crammed those twinkies into some Italian loafers every day?
  21. I think most of the planet is ready for that to happen.
  22. Philly v. Dallas is shaping up to be good down the stretch with it looking like the loser of that misses out. Packers v. Vikings is also looking good. The NFC Deathmatch division is going to leave out a very good team potentially and watching the 49ers, Seahawks and Rams duke it out will be good entertainment and the Cardinals are a scary matchup for a lot of teams. The NFC South is the Saints to lose. The WC situation in the NFC is a beast.
