  1. That's the pillar of a sound argument right there. AFC Offensive Player of the Week, for a game against the Dolphins. Well gosh. Did he get a ribbon for that or a fruit basket? How about a voucher he can turn in so they can score more than 20 points against a top 20 defense. Any top 20 defense. Any week you don't score 20 points is automatically a loseable game regardless of who you are playing against. It makes it possible to lose without giving up touchdowns. Since the defense is essentially built to hold teams to field goals this makes it a problem and reduces your margin for error to near zero. Your defense has less than a top notch day and surrenders a TD or 2, things are dicey. You miss a FG or 2 of your own, things are dicey. You turn the ball over a couple times, things are dicey. You get a couple poorly timed penalties or other negative plays to push you out of FG range, things are dicey. The Bills have all of these risks today. All of them. If they can put 21 points on the board they have a decent shot. I don't think they can do that against a good defense. They haven't done it all year, I have no reason to think it will suddenly start today.
  2. Those things are awesome. They need to make a new version without screwing up the basics which that plane did very well (e.g. be indestructible, be able to fly slowly enough to provide proper close support, be able to linger on target, be able to shred any armored vehicle. The airframes are ancient and it's harder and harder to keep them air worthy. The stealth planes are all pretty and everything but you need something like that that likes to fly low and slow and just kick 97 types of butt.
  3. Because it's the Seahawks and the Rams right now. They aren't going flex out of those 2 markets to put Buffalo and Baltimore on. and FWIW I think everyone is hedging their bets on flexing the Bills into anything until they beat someone of merit. They go into Dallas on Thanksgiving and get smacked around you can forget about it.
  4. You know what. Fine. you're right. The bills offense in it's entirely has been a juggernaut. They've lit up everyone. Josh Allen has been scoring points in droves. They haven't been God awful against every halfway decent defense they've played all year and Denver doesn't have the 2nd best defense we've faced all season behind only the Patriots. Josh Allen will lead the way for he is the almighty chosen one. I yield to your pregame mania.
  5. Yes, clearly, the passing wizardry they have shown. TDs galore. By the bushel even. Against teams not named Miami he's averaging about 215 yards a game with 8TDs and 7INTs and has fumbled the ball 11 times. Scintillating.
  6. It is shame. We have a kitty cat soft defense and a running back they don't give the ball to. I must have missed all the times where the Bills have been scoring tons of points against semi-competent teams.
  7. If you are rooting for that Steelers game to become a road night game in that stadium you're <edit> not seeing the world in a clear fashion </edit>. That game is going to be difficult enough as it is.
  8. That they have a decent defense and a decent running back?
  9. Jif Chunky PB The strawberry jam my mother makes A nice hearty multi-grain wheat bread
  10. 18 - 13 Broncos They haven't shown that they can score on a decent defense nor have they shown that they can stop a decent running back.
  11. This is even a question? Over 5 players....so 6 then?
  12. They also do it to stabilize the area when they don't know what is wrong. Having it flop around can tear things or displace fractures that they don't know the existence or the extent of. Aircast it to be safe, get your xrays to evaluate for broken bones, get your MRI for soft tissue (ligaments, tendons, muscular issues) them diagnose and evaluate a plan going forward. There is no sense in NOT stabilizing it immediately.
  13. I've not had one, but my previous experiences with anything made by the Necco company have not been positive. Apparently that brand is owned by Spangler candy, makers of such fine treats as Sweethearts (those terrible heart shaped things with words on them that you throw away on Valentine's Day), Circus Peanuts, and of course Necco wafers which the brand's own website boasts have been used as poker chips and for target practice. Adm. Byrd also apparently took 2.5 tons of them to the South Pole. Boy howdy that's some good stuff right there.
  14. Not nearly enough fist pumping in that. His campaign managers will be Vinny, Pauly D and The Situation.
  15. Someone on the team remembers that using the word "fearless" in that manner makes it an adverb. They point it out to McClappy...fearlessly.
  16. What about a forecastle and gunwale?

  20. There definitely is a story arc to it that they weave in and out of so it's not something I'd say to watch randomly. You can, but it's better if you don't because you will understand more of what they refer to more quickly.
  21. Yes, you should start at the beginning. Adult swim.Com runs a constant marathon stream of the whole series. I was able to get caught up that way. New stuff is on Cartoon network sunday nights at 11:30. I dvr it. Excellent show. Highly enjoyed. There are so many call backs to previous stuff that it will help to at least watch it by season I think.
  22. I think that would be the first time Karlos was described as a one hit anything. Weed, women, trips to the buffet...
  23. The loafers or the twinkies?
