  1. I also think there is an element of wanting to keep some things under wraps and off film for the playoffs for at least a good couple of weeks now. I think Daboll was doing the same thing last year and had to get out of and break out the good material before he wanted to in TB because the team was in trouble. Why haven't we ridden Cook? Why show it off before you need it? Etc.
  2. Exactly. Everything that is past is prologue to this. Get hot now and ride that for four games. One thing I think this team has shown us over the last two years is focus is a little bit of an issue. Everyone should be fully focused now, the Hamlin issue will be behind them, the slog of the regular season is over.
  3. Quick question, which team has looked better in all of those categories? Kansas City hasn't exactly been steamrolling the world this year either.
  4. How many in a row have they won? I hear you, they weren't razor sharp yesterday, but they won by 12.
  5. You can't say the offense wouldnt have scored on those possessions but yes, without those points you're correct which is why I said what I said.
  6. Thoughts? In short? I hate it. It's the antithesis of how I like to play defense, but conceptually you are trying to force the other team to be perfect to beat you. It pairs well with a strong offense like ours because our offense puts pressure on the other team to score touchdowns, not FGs and that forces them to stop taking the check down you are giving them at some point. We saw that yesterday. Eventually Jones had to put the ball in harm's way and it went badly. The issue is, against good QBs, they can put the ball in harm's way and get away with it. I've decided to stop complaining about the defense. It is what it's going to be and having our 3rd safety on the field who is a fringe NFL player at best isn't helping. If the Bills are going to win, they are going to need to score. 40 is the goal every week from here out.
  7. They've done so well picking them so far. 😂 I agree though, we need at least one interior lineman coming in. I'd like another outside WR, a coverage safety (or corner if the plan is to move Benford or White, or even Taron Johnson if we get a slot corner instead), a TE that can block in a serious way so we don't need to run Bobby Hart out there as a TE.
  8. Maybe they all have the same thing in common
  9. How many years in a row has he promised a thorough review of the team? 3? Feel free to have a completely incompetent offense Bill. None of us mind. Matt Patricia for life. How long until we can sign Dugger away from them?
  10. And now his successor is saddled with a broken Kyler Murray and his contract. Good luck with that.
  11. You think nobody at all of Disney world is going to be paying attention to the game? I was at Disneyland during a Giants 49ers playoff game in January 2003. Everyone was well aware of the score and the situation. I'd imagine the technology has improved in 20 years.
  12. Ugh, I hate Romo. He started off good, but he's spent too much time smelling his own underwear recently.
  13. It's the networks telling you they expect us to beat Miami mercilessly.
  14. Monday will be a 4/5. Dallas Tampa is almost a lock for that slot. Jacksonville/La will be 4 on Saturday. Other than that idk
  15. Apparently they are currently replacing the turf and are not available
  16. Who is filling in for Murphy today?
  17. They winterized that stadium more than a month ago. I remember discussing this and what they do with college stadiums, and how big a deal it is to undo it, when the Metrodome collapsed.
  18. either way, you're still in Miami so you lose.
  19. Makes sense to me. I don't think they will go further West either because that makes an imbalanced travel imposition which would eliminate LA, Phoenix, Vegas, and Denver. I don't think they use Chicago or Green Bay because of weather considerations. I don't think they go Northeast because of the imbalanced travel which eliminates NY, Boston, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington forgetting the fact that some of those places could be hosting the NFC game. I don't think they use Minnesota, Tampa, Dallas, or San Fran because they could be hosting the NFC game. Seattle just doesn't make sense. That leaves us: Tennessee - outdoors, presumably not being used, Central Time, driving distance advantage KC by 100 miles Houston - domed, presumably not being used, Central Time Zone - driving distance advantage KC New Orleans - domed, presumably not being used, Central Time Zone - driving distance advantage KC Cincinnati - outdoors, Eastern Time - driving distance advantage Buffalo, there is NO SHOT they put this game on this field. None. Zero. Charlotte - outdoors, Eastern Time - driving distance advantage Buffalo Atlanta - domed, Eastern Time - driving distance advantage KC, but it's less than 100 miles difference. Flights are easy for both. Jacksonville - outdoors, Eastern Time - driving distance advantage darned near equal They can go to Miami - it's the only way that stadium will see an AFC Championship game anytime soon. They are a paying customer with a contract.
