  1. Not even started it but I've already seen enough live. He's the WLB that I really want. Zach as the Sam, Reggie as the provisional Mike (recovery results pending). I knew he'd be a 1st rounder when he clobbered that guy on special teams against LSU 2-3 years ago
  2. If I throw myself behind the Reuben Foster at 10 bandwagon, will you love me again, Bill?
  3. I plan to agitate Bill by preaching DB in the 1st round but only Alabama players. If you've ever seen Mars Attacks......
  4. "I would like to introduce to you my twin brother Rob. No, he's DEFINITELY NOT *wink wink* my new defensive coordinator"
  5. "I'm looking forward to adding to the proud tradition of missing the playoffs in Buffalo" "No, Jerry, I don't wax my bald head" "I will be clamping down on dress code like Ron Rivera. I've seen those 'Benrus Best Dressed' pictures and this team needs some fashion advice"
  6. "Rex left a picture of his wife's feet in the office. I'm definitely keeping that"
  7. Ramon Humber. Alexander got all the headlines on ST, Humber was better.
  8. I've seen some media tweets to that end. Makes sense. @caplannfl On QBs coach Todd Downing, coaches were told within last hour or so that he was being promoted to OC. Thoughts on Musgrave out: He did a solid job. JDR wants more out of the offensive personnel, especially RBs. More creativity. It's not often an offensive coordinator from 12-4, playoff team is not retained, but JDR wants more out of offensive personnel. Musgrave will have options elsewhere. His contract was up and was not renewed.
  9. He started off the season really well. Week 1 vs Devin Hester, he was masterful. I'd have to look around other cold markets to see if temperature affected yardage as the year went along but he definitely struggled down the stretch. ST in general was really good until that Amendola return in Week 8. They got too cute with Tyler Lockett in Week 9 and it snowballed after the bye. Not sure if continuity was the issue. Across ST, including those that had an ST tackle, ST assisted tackle, ST penalty, ST missed tackle, punt & kick returns, kickoffs, field goals and punting, 34 players registered a stat in 2016.
  10. How do you think I feel? I wrote this. http://billswire.usatoday.com/2017/01/10/bills-2017-nfl-free-agency-wishlist-quarterbacks/
  11. Earlier in the year, Danny Crossman spoke about how much they're asking him to do with punts. Changing the gameplan up week to week and basically putting a lot on his plate. I wonder if they overloaded him. I think he's a better player than the 2016 season showed. If you want a free agent kicking option, give me Greg the Leg.
  12. 25-year-old USC defensive tackle Stevie Tu'ikolovatu has been invited to the Senior Bowl. The nephew of former Jets fat lump Sione Pouha.
  13. I honestly didn't think it was that uncommon an opinion to hold. The site was honestly alright last year during the draft when they teamed up with Tony Pauline. He does the rounds at Pro Days and he's really well connected. Tony, as far as I'm aware, no longer has a working relationship with the site so they'll probably get no more clicks from me. As long as you use it like an information site, it's not the worst thing in the world. It's certainly not the only site that does it; all I'm saying is that I could produce quite a bit of the same stuff if I wanted to. Walter's probably made a fair chunk of change from advertising and whatnot, fair play to him. I just prefer my analysis a little more in-depth. I try to write in a way that's a polar opposite of WF as well. I'm just a small fry blogger but I'm trying to be part of a solution to a problem.
  14. It's not really analysis and opinion. It's a couple of guys hearing things and spouting it. Give me a few months and I could honestly get something similar out there. That Watson 1st-4th grade just became a 1st-2nd grade on their site today after he declared. Zero consistency to it, it's just a parrot service for people that don't know any better. Not to mention, Walter Cherepinsky is a revolting toad of a man.
  15. Intriguing athlete. Depending on testing numbers, might be worth a late flier as something else. I just don't see an NFL passer with him.
  16. Not that I'm aware of. $15.5m option bonus, $12m base salary for 2017 and $3.25m of his 2018 salary guaranteed on March 11th. Remaining $9.75m of his 2018 base guaranteed on 3rd day of 2018 league year. If the numbers are right, we'd owe him $12,4m prorated option bonus, $2.04m in signing bonus plus the $3.25m guaranteed on signing for a 2018 cut. That comes to $17.69 million.
  17. Let's just say, he should stick to Aerospace Engineering. Not drafting that as a QB, even with someone else's pick Would try him as a conversion player, Cordarrelle style..........maybe.
  18. Are you not concerned about creating a sizable amount of dead money cutting him next year?
  19. Yep, with a clipboard and everything.
  20. It's not merely something that I disagree with. It's something that the vast majority of the football community has laughed at as a joke of a website for nearly a decade. If you're going to borrow opinions, don't do it from that rag. It makes you look like an idiot.
  21. You should probably read things that aren't the ramblings of an idiot. You want to stay ignorant, that's fine, be my guest.
  22. Why are you still reading Walter Football?
  23. Do they have pocket presence, placement, consistent footwork? Teddy does.
  24. I'm not particularly of the mind that teams "missed" on Carr. Maybe that's down to my pre-draft thoughts and I missed on him too
  25. This is the same league that let Teddy Bridgewater drop to 32. Forgive me if I'm not entirely convinced some of these teams know what they're doing
