  1. I seem to watch that instructional video 3/4 times a year. It's become my happy place.
  2. @MikeGarafolo Bills have requested permission to interview Seahawks DC Kris Richard and that's expected to happen after Saturday's game, sources say.
  3. Dug this up from May. God, the old days really were the best of times. @JoeBuscaglia Via @theMMQB, #Bills head coach Rex Ryan on Rob: "If you are a fan of the Buffalo Bills, thank your lucky stars he is here, and myself."
  4. I'd give Jerry a raise for this if I'm the Pegula family.
  5. He's incredible. It's like every part of my ideal kicker got put together in the body of a moderately handsome boyband member. Early crush in this class is probably Tedric Thompson, the Colorado safety.
  6. I've watched a few defensive players against UCLA recently and I really can't say I was impressed by "The Rosen One". Let's not forget that Christian Hackenberg was the next Andrew Luck after his sophomore year. Never put off until next year what you can do this year.
  7. Daniel Carlson, the Auburn kicker, didn't declare. The other few hundred can bugger off.
  8. I'd probably hazard a guess at 3rd round from what I've seen. More of a past predicting the futute answer than any solid grade I have on the player himself. I want an accurate height (if he's a genuine 6'7", I'm Mr Universe) and I'm curious how he tests. Both myself and the NFL will be attracted to the catch radius. Bare minimum, he's a big slot WR that comes to life in the red zone. Not to mention, I want a player called Temuchin.
  9. If Dante doesn't end up in the Hall of Fame, it'll be a travesty. Bill will still be coaxing him out of retirement when he's 92
  10. No wonder this place salivates over Tyrod.
  11. Honestly, I don't disagree with Koolaid's sentiment. This corner class looks stacked and we're probably looking at a $4m average annual salary with the 10th pick. Striking a deal with Gilmore, that figure might be closer to $14m. There's some merit in letting Gilmore walk, especially considering the potential for a 3rd round comp pick in 2018 if we play the FA game smartly.
  12. You're such a nerd Compared to 82.0 in 2015 as well.
  13. I was reliably informed that Stephon Gilmore is crap. How can these stats be? Erik must be lying On a serious note, let me his rattle off his full stats (courtesy of PFF). Also, a comparison to 2015. 2015 (12 games) - 92 targets, 50 receptions (54.3% completion rate), 666 yards (13.3 YPC), 190 YAC, 5 TDs allowed, 3 INT, 6 PD. 2016 (15 games) - 69 targets (nice!), 40 receptions (58% completion rate), 627 yards (15.7 YPC), 188 YAC, 2 TDs allowed, 5 INT, 7 PD.
  14. I really liked Desir, Cleveland screwed him about big time. Guy has two kids to feed and they couldn't make their mind up what they were doing with him. Harris flashed watching Desir's 2013 film, I've been in love with him ever since. The kid is a real good one.
  15. Pants off, it's time to party! @dpbrugler #Lindenwood LB Connor Harris (5-11, 245) added to Senior Bowl roster. The Div-2 standout posted 633 (!!!) career tackles, a new NCAA record.
  16. I think the $10m mark is accounting for re-signing Gilmore, Z Brown etc. The figure if they strike deals with in-house FAs. I've seen anywhere between $26-32m as it stands, all accounting for Tyrod staying.
  17. It feels like I end up reading about 10% of everything I want to. Part of that is the sheer volume, other part is not wanting to cloud my judgement on guys I've not watched yet. All the guys I mentioned, I really do marvel at the content they put together. Makes me realise I'm just some loner with a hobby I'm glad you enjoy the Bills Wire coverage. It means a lot that people take the time to read it.
  18. Is this thing on? Because it's about to be. All the Donte Whitner playoff guarantees.
  19. Don't forget, folks. If you Twitter, there's some talented writers to follow this draft season. @QBKlass & @MarkSchofield for all your quarterback goodness. @JuMosq the pass rush supremo behind "Force Players". @FourVerts for takes on interior defensive linemen. @CFBFilmRoom & @PFF_College for good stats. Then @NDTScouting, @TheJoeMarino, @JonahTulsNFL, @JeffRisdon, @LedyardNFLDraft. Not to mention, @ITP_ChuckZ for all your kicking and punting goodness. And @TheBillsWire will have draft content all the way through to April with myself, Rob and Rich. Might even be doing some videos and podcasts so you can all fall in love with my accent.
  20. @RQUINN619 is a decent follow. No, not just because he's my boss. @Cover1Bills for X's & O's work. Erik also contributes here. @RyanLasal has had some decent info. Part of the Bills Fanatics group mentioned above. @RDotDeuce & @BuffaloWins put out some good content. Rich is a great guy, if you can put up with his wrestling obsession Not all news-related but strong opinions that I trust on Bills topics.
  21. Malik, on a good day, is the truth. He's a stupid athlete, guys that size aren't supposed to bend round a tackle like Mike McGlinchey. Like you said, same downsides as Chris Jones. It's about whether you think he can replicate that progression or if you think Jones is a one-off. Personally, I take the gamble. I would've taken it on Jones at #19, I'm not sure I'd bat an eyelid at McDowell at #10.
  22. We get daily transcripts from the team after practice and post-game. The difference between what's said and what they tell people is said is staggering. They leave whole paragraphs out if it's not something they particularly agree with. Like on Monday, no mention of Gilmore talking about not wanting the tag.
  23. Temple LT Dion Dawkins is a pretty good prospect. Big, long, athletic dude. Decent feet in pass pro, just needs to correct a couple of issues with lunging into contact. Heavy handed run blocker, can pull and get to the 2nd level effectively. Not a Day 1 starter but someone worth an investment. Dawkins is Senior Bowl and Combine bound. Played with Shaq Lawson at Hargrave Military Academy in 2012. Also, Owls RB Jahad Thomas is magnificent. He has some of the best 1 yard runs you'll ever see. He's got NFL 3rd down back written all over him, can also carry the load in case of injury. Shifty little bastard that'll run between the tackles.
  24. Watching Vic on Twitter today has been funny. He's so pissed that Terry went to AP and that Doug gave them nothing. It's adorable. He was a running back coach 4 months ago. Walking away for a 49ers rebuild or a job tied to Goff? Give me a break.
