  1. I got 26 on my first go. Not entirely inaccurate. It's not really a reaction test after the first time. you know it's coming.
  2. I wasn't especially fond of him after his 2015 games and even I've got him as a fringe 1st rounder at that point. I'll be honest, I was in bed for the game. I haven't watched it this morning either. All I know is that Deshaun Watson is good at football.
  3. One question - how does he fit our O? We don't have a coach.
  4. I think it's more to do with the fact that Lane Kiffin is an idiot that forgets that OJ exists than anything else. He's been decent when they remember that he's alive. That said, we aren't drafting a backup tight end at #10
  5. If we pose any type of question, we have to back it up with some degree of logic. Again, not everything we write is an opinion piece. Sometimes, we're just covering the newsworthy topic and trying to make a case for why that might make sense. I'm inevitably going to write about draft prospects I'm not fond of this year but I'll be doing it with an eye on why they would make sense for the team. It's not an endorsement of the player when I write about him, just a pros and cons argument on why the team might like the player. Same way that Rob wants to keep Tyrod on the roster but he accepts the downside to his game. You can be realistic about the situation without applying your own personal bias, it's objectivity.
  6. I'm not entirely sure why you'd use this as Exhibit A. Rob very clearly stated his stance earlier. We can't just write opinion pieces, we have to keep up with newsworthy topics. Mitch Trubisky declaring is newsworthy and moving on from Tyrod seems to be likely. It's a question worth posing, at least in our eyes.
  7. Midnight Madman I assume this has something to do with my fridge raids.
  8. Tony Pauline teaming up with Walter was the weirdest thing ever. I love Tony, he's as well connected as they come, chose to waste his talents on that toilet paper for a while. I'm not exactly in a position to shout people down because I'm not far off Walter myself. There's just a host of places I'd take my readership to before Walter.
  9. Honestly, I was more offended by him quoting Walter Football.
  10. Only 39 less pass attempts than Wentz. Level of competition was also higher, whatever that's worth.
  11. Kinda like Wentz. Play him rookie year, you deal with all the flaws. I like his potential but I'm really reluctant to take him early. Wouldn't be a Day 1 starter in my team.
  12. I just want an opportunity to kiss Bill's rings.
  13. Not sure about bust but yeah, too many links to the Browns to ignore.
  14. I'm going to be an innovative coach. I'm punting on 3rd down, they'll never see it coming.
  15. New coach announced. https://twitter.com/john_wawrow/status/818489438640738305
  16. This is nothing more than an opportunistic piece raising the question about whether Trubisky might be the guy to replace Tyrod. The piece referenced above regarding Tyrod is Rob's true feelings. We've clashed on this subject a number of times recently.
  17. I should have something out today making the case for Malik McDowell being the BPA at #10. I'm sure Bills Facebook will love it EDIT: As if by magic - I got a little weird, talking Planet Theory and whatnot, but I like this kid. http://billswire.usatoday.com/2017/01/09/buffalo-bills-nfl-draft-spotlight-msu-dl-malik-mcdowell-scouting-report/
  18. It's a tough spot financially. We're probably not going to be inclined to pay him "starter money". Obviously love to keep him around for some veteran leadership and his ST ability alone but I'm not counting on him coming back. Main reason I like the 4-3 Under - it means I don't have to immediately give up on my Bryson Albright dreams
  19. If we go the Richard/Bradley route, we could have a base D of: LEO - Hughes 3-Tech - Kyle 1-Tech - Marcell 4/5-Tech - Washington Sam - Lawson Mike - Ragland Will - Brown (Zach or Preston) Kick Washington off the field in nickel, drop Lawson in at LDE and add a DB.
  20. Remember when Clowney was a bust?
  21. Adam Bisnowaty (Pitt LT) is not an NFL tackle. Possibly slide him in at RG in a zone scheme but that dude has a kick slide like he's wearing concrete shoes. Also lacks functional strength so he's not even a Year 1 starter inside either. Tough to imagine that I'm going to have him any higher than a 5th round prospect. He's a lot like Joe Haeg from NDSU last year, probably just a little less athletic. But he's going to the Senior Bowl as a tackle. I can't wait for the Vikings to draft him in R2, stick him at RT on Day 1 and get Sam Bradford killed.
  22. Anyone intrigued by Cam Robinson should take a look at this thread. I might not agree with Bob but he's an OL coach, there's a good chance he knows this **** more than I do https://twitter.com/DraftOrtiz/status/817530154058534912 EDIT: Came across this as well. Justis Mosqueda's film grades for edge defenders. Outside of professionals like Chuck Smith, not many I trust with pass rushers more than Justis. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1RQ67mLdFevqnRTca4-G--X16KEcjaKYt57VruqqQ9BI/edit#gid=0
  23. We get them sent directly from the Bills, courtesy of Berchtold's department. Believe me when I say this; the information that we got from the team, compared to beat reporters recordings from the locker room on clear out day, had large chunks missing. The comments that were missing was important stuff. Tyrod's comments on the benching/injury were incomplete, comments by Reggie Ragland on Rex, comments relating to Gilmore's contract situation.
