Adam Carolla had "Sports Guy" Bill Simmons on his podcast and they were talking about how they could remake this movie, but with a twist. It would be at a magnet school for gay boys. Shia LaBeouf would be a straight kid who pretends to be gay to get into a better school. While there he starts to think he might be gay because he's falling for a classmate. But, it's really Ellen Page pretending to be a gay guy for the same reason. Working title: "Just One of the Gays".

There's no AIDS virus per se. AIDS is a clinical diagnosis based on the state of your immune system (T-cell count, etc). They say you have "full-blown AIDS" as opposed to "HIV positive" once you meet certain parameters. Also, folks with AIDS eventually succumb to something like pneumonia as the virus destroys white blood cells. Please remember that I'm no expert. I learned all of this by watching the 3rd season of "The Real World" and "Philadelphia".
