I think the stadium won't be full, no matter what they announce I doubt 72,000 are there, About 10,000 to 15,000 attendees (15-20% of the total) of Bills' home games at Ralph Wilson Stadium come from southern Ontario and they won't be able to cross the border for this one. Plus I generally peak at tickets for sale in my section every year for the home opener and this year the number of seats available has been going up week over week, not down, which suggests there isn't a great after market for tickets. Steelers wise I think the stadium will be absolutely rocking with a fairly full house and a Bills win to start the season.

Yeah but, the Bills charge on a game by game scale and the opener is charged at much higher than the other games. You can go on the Bills site and just look at the seats that are at the Bills price, not resale... there's quite a few there now from Canadians who took the Bills offer to buy back their seats. I didn't take the Bills offer as they offered me $100 for a seat they sell at $459 for the opener.

With the US not opening the border to us a lot of Canadians are needing to sell. Use the NFL ticket exchange (you can access when you log in to your Bills account online). I've been watching the number of seats for sale in my section and they are not moving so far. Don't know if that's just because it's not September yet or if it's because people aren't jumping at the chance to go.

Hamilton's Tim Hortons field would make more sense if they couldn't play in Buffalo. I believe it can be easily expanded to 33K, it's lot closer to Buffalo than Toronto, and there are a lot of Bills season ticket holders in the area.

Just lost a close friend to Covid on Saturday who was in the "it's just the flu", "the vaccine is more dangerous", "God will protect me" camp. All of their closest friends couldn't convince them to get the shots, no way, no how. No chance anyone is convincing Beasley he is being misinformed. I hope he retires.

He is, but he could also be a major locker room disrupter this season. I'm sure most teams have at least 1 similar player, hopefully McD is able to keep this under control, if not it can turn into a major distraction this team doesn't need.

Yes, but people who have the premium seats that people are after have been paying for 2 pre-season games for years. People seem to think everyone makes a killing selling tickets, the 3 or 4 times I've sold my tickets over the last 18 years I have been lucky to break even, though I've never sold an early game. Even if you do sell an early game for a markup you're probably not making back more than the cost of the opener and the preseason game. This year will be different, but this hasn't been the norm. We used to get visited by one of the scalpers every game, we'd give him a beer and chat for a while. His tickets all came from other avenues, not by owning blocks of season tickets.

Remember that Season Ticket Holders have had to pay full price for 2 pre-season games each year and those seats have almost $0 value, you might get $20 for one if you're lucky. So they are behind before the home opener is played. The last 3 or 4 games each year are often tough sells for people, the Bills weren't great for a long, long, long, long, long time and most people don't love cold weather games. I doubt anyone who has had to pay face value for Bills tickets has been making much profit for a while.

If you toggle off the verified resale option the only tickets actually from the Bills are club seats. Maybe not how it was earlier, but that's how it is now.

Hopefully it all comes down to whatever the Bills require. We don't have the Excelsior pass in Ontario and there's a better chance that more of us will have shot #2 by September with the US stepping up and pledging to send more shots to Canada. Hopefully the Bills adjust to this and the lots adjust to what the Bills do.

Yep, and when we can I'll be there no matter what the rules are. I can't imagine even contemplating reasons to not be there, we've waited ages for a team this good.

I can only guess, my guess: 1. They want to figure out if they will sell additional single game tickets or if they will delay that until later in the year 2. They want to see if the league drops the requirement to tarp off the first X number of rows 3. They want to know if stadium capacity is going to be limited before letting people add seats to their accounts

I just can't imagine it working, maybe after I see him roll out to the right and hit Kelce 20 yards down the field without flinching all while having Jerry Hughes barreling in on him I'll believe it. For now I don't think it will work and he's going to be subpar. I'm a bigger believer in him being un-phased after a concussion than I am in him being un-phased after a pinched nerve.
