  1. Wonder if they go a similar route to what Detroit tried on Sunday, pull out all the trick plays, go for it on 4th downs. They have nothing to lose at this point.
  2. 7 home games 5 games in Nov, Dec, Jan + 1 Divisional round +1 Conference Championship (we're getting the bye for round 1) 🙂
  3. Good article, I like this one "Playing crazy had its drawbacks for Allen in year one and two. “Back in the day,” he told me in camp, “I tried to play pissed off on the field and I found myself not playing very well, tensed up . . . Now, [I’ll do] small things like listening to calming music pregame, to not be so hyped and anxious for the game.”"
  4. Hard to see the Bills losing in the division
  5. I use the PokerStars sports bet option, 888Poker has one as well. Never had any problems with either of them, can't say if they're the best, just that I've never had a problem with them
  6. I was thinking of starting a thread about how it was better for our playoff chances if we lose this weekend but I couldn't pull the trigger.
  7. Looks stressed out to me, nervous ticks galore.
  8. If you are American you can cross in both directions, the US is not letting any Canadians across the land borders. Canada requires the PCR test to cross (typically more money)
  9. Tons of $40 tickets out there in the ticket exchange. Losing 100% of the Canadian fans + whatever the number is of people who don't have 1 shot = great value for anyone who can still get to the game by gametime.
  10. Depends if people can resell their seats. I haven't been able to sell mine for that one and I'm seeing a lot of posts popping up with people trying to sell. Usually lowering prices works but seats are already down to the $70 range on the ticket exchange. Pretty sad if tickets won't move for an October home game at that price.
  11. 1. Opening Day 2. Pittsburgh Steelers and their travelling fanbase Houston will be the interesting game attendance wise. Not a huge travelling fan base. Both shots needed. No Canadians. 3rd Home game and there are already cheap resale tickets out there.
  12. 74.3% in the 18+ population (NYS) and that's the majority of the age group that goes to games. These games are basically sold out, we're really talking about the resale market at this point... probably until December/January games and they don't usually sell out.
  13. The opener came close to selling out (97%) so most of them sold. I'm not sure if the WFT tickets will sell out* because the mandate adds a wrinkle that might stop another 10 - 15% of fans from going. With 10 - 15% of the seats not being filled by Canadians and 10 - 15% of the seats not being filled by the unvaccinated at some point you're noticeably going to see empty seats. *sell out isn't really the right term, the seats are sold but will they resell or be empty
  14. It's funny, no one wants to talk about the 6,500 Canadian season ticket holders who can't get over the border cause apparently we don't count, but I keep seeing threads pop up on Bills boards about the whopping 700+ who opted out. 700 will be noticed about as much as you noticed the missing 6,500.
  15. No. NY State shows 81.7% of 18+ have at least 1 shot and when the Ontario fans can come back Ontario is at 85% of eligible adults with at least 1 shot. If you still have not had the shot you are in the small minority.
  16. Was getting damn near impossible to get back to our spot some games after 10:30 and we're not the closest spot to Kenny by far. Us Canadians are going to be missing you all big time.
  17. Cleaned up last year on shortest touchdown under 1.5 yards bets. Look for a potential high scoring game and a decent RB.
  18. I'd read all fine print and disclaimers around this point "If you lose, we credit your account with the amount of the bet (up to 5K!). You can't cash that out, but you can place new bets and, if they win, cash out then." In the world of this lifelong gambler that is to good to be true and if it is true then get on it. Make sure there is no rule around needing to bet this amount X times over before you can start cashing out, or that the odds on the second bet must be longer than 1.5 - 1 etc...
  19. No worse than 5-1 in the division Winning the Super Bowl If not now when? Best team we've seen in ages.
  20. He actually has a good point to make, but he's not making it well and he strays from the point too often. If an unvaccinated player and vaccinated player can both make another player sick then everyone should wear masks and follow the same protocol if the goal is to keep everyone healthy. That's his point, and on that point I think he's right.
  21. Agreed, but if Beasley starts slow and has some uncharacteristic drops the spotlight and pressure are going to be dialed up to 100.
  22. There's no if we have to put our seats up for sale, we either don't go or we sell. My rep said about 10% of STH are Canadian, so that's probably about 6,500 seats that had to go back into the market. We could either take a lowball offer from the Bills and have them buy back the seats or we put them on the aftermarket. Just look at Ticketmaster and stub hub every day, seats don't look like they are being gobbled up, they are stagnant. The Bills are charging $460 for a similar seat they offered me $100 for. The price of football in Buffalo is going up. Maybe the sales will pick up once Sept 1st hits. I'd rather the stadium be full and I hate missing another season opener, I just don't think it will be. Probably be about 68K actually in the stadium for this one.
  23. I think the stadium won't be full, no matter what they announce I doubt 72,000 are there, About 10,000 to 15,000 attendees (15-20% of the total) of Bills' home games at Ralph Wilson Stadium come from southern Ontario and they won't be able to cross the border for this one. Plus I generally peak at tickets for sale in my section every year for the home opener and this year the number of seats available has been going up week over week, not down, which suggests there isn't a great after market for tickets. Steelers wise I think the stadium will be absolutely rocking with a fairly full house and a Bills win to start the season.
  24. Yeah but, the Bills charge on a game by game scale and the opener is charged at much higher than the other games. You can go on the Bills site and just look at the seats that are at the Bills price, not resale... there's quite a few there now from Canadians who took the Bills offer to buy back their seats. I didn't take the Bills offer as they offered me $100 for a seat they sell at $459 for the opener.
