  1. The 5 coldest games in NFL history have all been fairly low scoring games with only 1 team winning by more than 7 points. I'm not sure either team is blowing the other team out. Raiders vs. Browns (Jan. 4, 1981): -4 degrees final score 14 - 12 Giants vs. Packers (Jan. 20, 2008): -4 degrees final score 23 - 20 Seahawks vs. Vikings (Jan. 10, 2016): -6 degrees final score 10 - 9 Chargers vs. Bengals (Jan. 10, 1982): -9 degrees final score 27 - 7 Cowboys vs. Packers (Dec. 31, 1967): -13 degrees final score 21 - 17
  2. Somethings that make matters worse: 1. Field house is closed due to covid, so no where to get inside and warm up pre game. 2. No re-entry so you can't go to your vehicle around halftime and try to get 20 minutes of heat (yeah you'd miss some game time, but better to miss some than all) 3. The Bills have never given fans spaces to take a break from the elements. A few wedding tents with heaters, people aren't looking for 80 degrees but a few places with 50 degree temperatures would settle a lot of nerves. They should extend the security/ticket staff for another quarter and allow re-entry up to the end of the 3rd.
  3. Of course. Ticket demand in Sept, Oct, Nov is much higher than Dec and now Jan, always has been. I get multiple people asking if I have spare tickets in the warmer time of the year, no one ever asks me for a December game.
  4. I think people are confusing tickets directly from the Bills vs resale tickets
  5. Yes something changed in mid December. We now have to do a PCR test in the US for trips under 72 hours in order to return to Canada. I've got to do a $100 same day PCR test to go to the game Saturday night.... well to come home, but you get the idea. According to the Bills Canadians make up around 10% of season ticket holders, so it's a factor. Also - if I happen to test positive on that PCR test I am stuck in the US until I get a negative test, so hotels, food, more tests. The cost can add up. I've waited too long for a home playoff game so I'll take the risk, but it's easy to understand why others won't.
  6. Well... a -37 windchill didn't do it
  7. I've always enjoyed watching these games on tv, this time I get to see if I can deal with it live. Question: Does 2 pairs of thermals make you warmer or does it make you colder? I've found that extra socks ended up making me colder as they were cutting my circulation.
  8. Can they be in the clear plastic bag? or do they have to be carried in (I'd rather just carry it in but I don't want security tossing it out)
  9. Do they set the playoff dates tonight or tomorrow?
  10. Do the playoff dates and times get announced late today or do they wait until tomorrow?
  11. Then we'll be getting 2 domes, one for home games where we wear whites and one for the blues.
  12. Be interesting if the Super Bowl ends up getting moved to Dallas. League won't want to risk a restricted game attendance wise* + key players not playing. Yes I'm assuming the Packers get there. *based on California's history on this matter and the current wave.
  13. I DON'T really care about open air or a dome. I DO really care that there are more areas under the stands to go and warm up or watch on a big screen when the weather is brutal.
  14. Off topic but - what's your plan for the playoff game? The test has to be done in the US so we can't do it ahead of time. I'm not finding a lot on the internet about places a Canadian can book a PCR test in the US.
  15. People are sick and not going? I mean, you got airlines cancelling flights because crews are sick, here in Ontario we've got hospitals running into staffing issues due to staff sickness, trains being cancelled because of staff sickness... No one in my family had caught this in the last 21 months and then boom half of us went down over the last 2 weeks.
  16. I don't remember a worse all around year for weather in 18 years of having seasons.
  17. No. You need to make that joke about the pats getting a 3rd round pick as well.
  18. Not to mention that the $300K he's talking about is nothing compared to how much future money he cost himself. This was a chance to prove he could play and not be a massive distraction, who in their right mind would take a chance on him now?
  19. I hated the broadcast, wanted to shut it off but it's the Bills so I kept watching. Why do they superimpose so much crap onto the field during a play? Is this popular with people?
  20. The pats fans in the front row said "suck my f'in dick" and Diggs said "shut the f up" nothing to see here
  21. There was an option to chose automatic or not at the beginning of the season (actually I think automatic was the default and you had to opt out).
  22. I'm fostering 3 tiny, scared kittens, until they are ready to go up for adoption. I keep them in the room with my big tv. I realized today that this was probably a mistake. FTP!!!
  23. Yesterday's report
  24. Come on man. When Brady started out we were on stone tablets.
