  1. We get it.... The Bills are 3-1 and thus the offense is great regardless of their actual stats. What they have done is hold on to the ball and have 1 TO..... If they go the entire season with 4 TO's and 12-4 I will eat my words.......
  2. Sure I'm a team player... And a team of mes would go 0-16.... Dream on koombaya
  3. Too bad you are not a gm as others would love you. Antonio Brown wants more targets???? Trade him. OBJ upset that Manning missed him when open? Trade him Every elite receiver is available for a backup and a draft choice. And a 1,000 yards receiving and fewer targets then any contemporary really sucks.
  4. My opinion is already tempered. If we lose 35-31 and the Offense is productive, that would excite me (in a loss).
  5. Well it happened week 2 and the offense, coaches & GM showed exactly the result of their lack of preparation on that side of the ball (oh and giving Watkins away for nothing except hope). I went back 18 years and the Bills often started 2-2 or 3-1 and we know what the net result was. What you have to be most impressed with is that they just are not turning the ball over and yes basically every call has gone their way.
  6. And there's the issue...... Gave away Watkins and having to make 2-3 incredible throws/wk. Add to that an offense not putting up 300 yards and outside 1 drive/game seldom chewing up the clock. Sorry been here before and still feel cheated by the GM and ownership in how they have set up the team for the season. Yep all has gone almost perfect through 4 weeks and the one game they needed 10 points they couldn't muster it.
  7. So wrong. He fumbled the ball, created no offense, was sacked 6 times and wow completed 2 passes for 23 yards that final drive. He was absolutely the reason the Bills were not up 20 points that game. McNair had 76 yards passing and Eddie George while he ran it okay 119 yards on 29 carries (checked the box score) were stuffed. Johnson was the reason they lost. If Flutie put up those #'s I'd have said the same about him...... Yep and then they stopped looking at Watkins (who burned them the first half) and tried to grind it out. With the Raiders they just got steamrolled and forgot how to play offense. Both on the road and a terrible defense. Thanks for taking it so literally.......
  8. Too bad, may have been one of the most assinine discussion threads ever....... Doug Flutie pulled (many say by the owner's proclomation) for the playoff game. The Defense played maybe the best game I've ever seen, making up for Rob Johnson's ineptitude on offense. Rob Johnson should never have started the game and was just terrible, but many argued that he left the field leading and his 60 minutes of lousy play didn't contribute to the loss........ Much like the offense being near the bottom this year, but the Bills being 3-1......
  9. I forgot that and still lost TOP....... Again very happy with the record, just not getting ahead of myself........ Tell you what if they make the playoffs and win throwing for less then 200 I'll be okay. BTW were you defending Rob Johnson the last time the Bills made the playoffs and he put up 132 yards passing, because he left the field with the lead?
  10. And this year the Offense is even worse. Add to that near the bottom in Time of Possession. Thankful for turnovers and that 7:30 fourth quarter drive vs. Denver (and the Von Miller penalty). Actually incredible as they are a run first team, which should chew up the clock......
  11. Well if you look since the Bills last playoff appearance many years started well and (2-2 or better) and slowly reality sunk in.... https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/buf/2000.htm Go ahead Bills, prove me wrong....... Just seen this story played out over and over......
  12. And I see you've suffered as long as I have (1972). Sorry that I expect more. Amazing how excited we are with a 3-1 start........
  13. Exactly the Bills and the idea of a 14 point lead is non-existent. Yep 1-2X's/yr it happens (SF, NYJ & Miami), but usually it is close to the vest and hope you are ahead in the 4th (as they don't come back either). But yes so far so good in 2017. Doesn't make for exciting offensive football though.
  14. The thread was not Anti-Tyrod, but an indictment of the entire offensive scheme and the lack of investment in the WR position and trading away Watkins for draft picks (Gaines has been a surprise, but if they wanted him, they didn't need to trade Watkins to get him). The issue is this Offense will be incapable of scoring and moving the ball and has to play almost perfect to amass 300 yards in offense. And Tyrod is not to blame.
  15. 3:50 mark, Watkins destroys a Cowboy. And yes Watkins was wide open of the Kupp TD.
  16. I was not going to read 8 pages, but this was the post I was waiting for........ All the experts explaining why Matthews was better then Watkins and pointing to his durability. Goff still not looking for Watkins, but anyone catch that hit he made on Gurley's td reception?
  17. 230 is not a reason for a parade. I like TT and really don't like the negative comments. What bothers me most is an offense that that goes out of it way not to play offensively.
  18. Under 300 yards offense the last 3 games and we are extolling this exciting juggernaut????
  19. And they waived the white flag week two of pre-season trading Watkins and confirming they have no interest in having a competitive offense. 3-1 and that's great. Also everything has gone their way (save one pass to Jones).........
  20. I started the thread and my issue is not with Tyrod...... Have said this over and over. It is with a terrible offensive scheme, unimaginative play calling, trading away his stud #1 receiver and getting excited about under 300 yards weekly in offense. It's like owning a Hyandai Accent..... Reliable car, but as soon as you need it to do something it won't.
  21. Again that's the point. They jettisoned their best WR for no reason (and feeble attempt to tank) and now are 3-1 with an offense that through 4 weeks have under 300 yards offense. Boy would I be more excited if we had the offensive weapons that were easily available.
  22. Yes a win.... Still concerned that this offense really can't do anything or moreso, an OC that doesn't want to allow them.
  23. The team has had to be perfect in every way..... And they have. They too have gotten every break necessary and great for them. The problem is they've been beaten in yards every game (save the Jets) and they will need offense eventually. Replay went in their favour as did injuries and frankly bad play calling by Atlanta. Would be real nice to have Watkins still......
