  1. I forgot that and still lost TOP....... Again very happy with the record, just not getting ahead of myself........ Tell you what if they make the playoffs and win throwing for less then 200 I'll be okay. BTW were you defending Rob Johnson the last time the Bills made the playoffs and he put up 132 yards passing, because he left the field with the lead?
  2. And this year the Offense is even worse. Add to that near the bottom in Time of Possession. Thankful for turnovers and that 7:30 fourth quarter drive vs. Denver (and the Von Miller penalty). Actually incredible as they are a run first team, which should chew up the clock......
  3. Well if you look since the Bills last playoff appearance many years started well and (2-2 or better) and slowly reality sunk in.... https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/buf/2000.htm Go ahead Bills, prove me wrong....... Just seen this story played out over and over......
  4. And I see you've suffered as long as I have (1972). Sorry that I expect more. Amazing how excited we are with a 3-1 start........
  5. Exactly the Bills and the idea of a 14 point lead is non-existent. Yep 1-2X's/yr it happens (SF, NYJ & Miami), but usually it is close to the vest and hope you are ahead in the 4th (as they don't come back either). But yes so far so good in 2017. Doesn't make for exciting offensive football though.
  6. The thread was not Anti-Tyrod, but an indictment of the entire offensive scheme and the lack of investment in the WR position and trading away Watkins for draft picks (Gaines has been a surprise, but if they wanted him, they didn't need to trade Watkins to get him). The issue is this Offense will be incapable of scoring and moving the ball and has to play almost perfect to amass 300 yards in offense. And Tyrod is not to blame.
  7. 3:50 mark, Watkins destroys a Cowboy. And yes Watkins was wide open of the Kupp TD.
  8. I was not going to read 8 pages, but this was the post I was waiting for........ All the experts explaining why Matthews was better then Watkins and pointing to his durability. Goff still not looking for Watkins, but anyone catch that hit he made on Gurley's td reception?
  9. 230 is not a reason for a parade. I like TT and really don't like the negative comments. What bothers me most is an offense that that goes out of it way not to play offensively.
  10. Under 300 yards offense the last 3 games and we are extolling this exciting juggernaut????
  11. And they waived the white flag week two of pre-season trading Watkins and confirming they have no interest in having a competitive offense. 3-1 and that's great. Also everything has gone their way (save one pass to Jones).........
  12. I started the thread and my issue is not with Tyrod...... Have said this over and over. It is with a terrible offensive scheme, unimaginative play calling, trading away his stud #1 receiver and getting excited about under 300 yards weekly in offense. It's like owning a Hyandai Accent..... Reliable car, but as soon as you need it to do something it won't.
  13. Again that's the point. They jettisoned their best WR for no reason (and feeble attempt to tank) and now are 3-1 with an offense that through 4 weeks have under 300 yards offense. Boy would I be more excited if we had the offensive weapons that were easily available.
  14. Yes a win.... Still concerned that this offense really can't do anything or moreso, an OC that doesn't want to allow them.
  15. Yep looked sad the attendence.....
  16. The team has had to be perfect in every way..... And they have. They too have gotten every break necessary and great for them. The problem is they've been beaten in yards every game (save the Jets) and they will need offense eventually. Replay went in their favour as did injuries and frankly bad play calling by Atlanta. Would be real nice to have Watkins still......
  17. Nope 3 weeks in a row and under 300 yards total total offense....... A great win, but can't keep winning with so little O. And I want to see some offense and believe in TT.
  18. Really the Bills games are that much fun and so exciting? I'm a Bills fan since 1971 and at least I can be honest and say we've had few games that were fun to watch the last 10 years.......
  19. No I said I want to be entertained. I am entertained when the offense moves the ball. I said all things being equal I'd much rather see them go 7-9 and have exciting games then 9-7 and most games being bored. Now again let's pretend we know the Bills record at the end of the season is 8-8 and we have the choice of a 10-7 win that is part of the 8-8 season or instead lose said game 35-34...... I'd like to be entertained and lose 35-34, have a better draft choice and have been entertained that game....... As in another post look at NO Saints and their game sheets and compare it to Buffalos....... Both 7-9 teams....... Night & day difference in the games...... https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/nor/2016.htm
  20. Again I am a Bills fan, but have to admit that the pickings are slim.......
  21. Now look @ NO Saints (7-9 too) and their games....... https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/nor/2016.htm See the # of fun exciting games and jaxtapose vs. the Tennessee game referenced above. And you wonder why I am getting tired of the Bills????
  22. Actually this thread was a backhanded swipe at the low expectations of Bills Fans and what they want from TT thanks to a coaching staff that designs palys and have a game plan stuck in the 60's. Damn right I expect 250 passing a game and the ability to throw for 300. The game plan though is to try and eat up clock with the run, make no turnovers and pray that the opponenets offense is stifled. Yep bores me.....
  23. Low expectations...... Carolina was a lousy game and I saw the second half of the Denver game and it was ok, far from exciting..... Add the 14-13 Tennessee game and that may have been one of the worst games on TV I've ever seen..... Anyone else remember the 6-3 Cleveland game? I'm sure some fans will explain how good that one was..... 18 years since 1999 and expectations are that low.
  24. And 59 minutes of a snoozefest trumped by 2 plays?
  25. That 14-13 Tennessee game?????? Under 100 yards passing by TT was exciting? Arizona came out of nowhere (and I was on a plane so missed it). The Denver game was good, but wouldn't call it exciting. What we saw was Symien and what he is capable of on the road and how he reacts to adversity. Now I admit I may be completely wrong and they beat Atl and Denver wins big (at home).
