  1. Again I've complained since day 1 (three years ago) about playcalling. Gets worse and as time has gone on doesn't improve. The FO got rid of their best offensive weapons in letting woods walk and Watkins for scraps. We're back to the yahoos telling us to "Trust the Process"..... 2017 was supposed to be a writeoff and the FO and Coach were banking on good will and those who bought in that .500 with Rex was terrible and this team is in cap hell and much worse then that better to go 5-11 (or worse) and build through the draft then go 10-6 and make the playoffs. This team (and the prior) have had terrible offensive sets that while good for the running game did not take advantage of TT strengths and want to showcase Watkins (and then pay him). The all22 shows open receivers, however when the playcall doesn't call for those plays not all TT's fault. The Peterman fans are the same who earlier this year were pounding their chests at 5-2 about the top defense in the NFL and that there is no reason to throw for 300 yards because the rest of the team is so damn good....
  2. How about the blame being the OC's? The players running open but is not the primary target (or secondary). That is the problem with the Bills there are players open but that isn't the play call. Saw it with Watkins over and over. Single coverage or DB 10 yards off and the play was him as a decoy. Sure TT is somewhat to blame but playcalling is the primary culprit.
  3. He put up points and 340 yards passing and was going for the game winning td. Johnson was putrid that day.
  4. Of course stadium wall writers are just so much smarter. Bills dumped Watkins for little, destroyed the receiving Corp and have an offensive game plan that doesn't take advantage of the qb's strengths. 17 years and counting. BTW it was a good article. For a fifth round rookie!!!!
  5. https://www.theringer.com/nfl/2017/11/15/16656660/buffalo-bills-bench-tyrod-taylor-quarterback-nathan-peterman Many more, but majority are perplexed, puzzled or laughing at the Bills again.
  6. The national media doesn't get it either. A move at 5-4 when receiving core may actually be healthy and trusting a 5th round rookie with 10 passes. Sunday afternoon will be interesting.
  7. Rob Johnson's playoff performance included a fumble and also a safety. The 131 yards still surprises me, though very TT like in completing 13 yard passes when it was 3rd & 15 (at least 3 times). Fortunately LAC has the worst home fans in football, but the Chargers are no pushovers. This is a must win and putting Peterman in is grasping at straws imo. Follow that up with Chiefs on the road & then NE, I have no idea why worst case he could have been put in the last 4 games. If the Bills lose this week, the season is over and asking a rookie to save the season is foolhardy.
  8. Well that pretty much says it all...... Johnson singlehandedly screwed them vs. the Titans........ Please no "The Bills were leading when he left the field"...... He was putrid that game......
  9. I have no idea what this staff is doing....... At 5-5 maybe, but throwing a rookie in with the playoffs still realistic is nonsensical. Seems after 17 years fans are grasping at straws.
  10. Because Rob Johnson's performance vs. the Titans was so good? People forget he was embarrassingly bad that game. They started the year in tank mode, then made a trade to shore the offense and now in a must win game bench their qb based on one drive in garbage time. This coaching staff & management is a joke.....
  11. This year has been difficult because a GM & coaching staff that went out of their way to go tank mode in preseason and talk about collecting draft picks and trading the better player for draft choices. Heck they told us that in "not so many words". Then 5-2 and I was ready to buy in and then two terrible games. Yes I had some optimism after the start but now I don't have faith in the staff using the offense properly and we'll see if the defense turns it around.
  12. Find me them. A blow-out is 30+ points heading into the 4th...... Not many games like that....... Seldom is the starter out prior to that......
  13. Those were the blowout games this year. Not many and only starter who lasted the whole game is the Miami backup. No it was a good sample. Starters are pulled in the fourth when being blown out. Live to fight another day. At 5-4 they are in the hunt.
  14. Enough is enough..... To think Peterman was put in as a dress rehearsal is as stoopid as Rob Johnson playing vs. Indy in a meaningless week 17 game in 1999..... Ooops bad example. 2017 to date blowouts Week 1 Indy Week 3 Ravens Week 4 Titans Week 7 Cards Week 8 Matt Moore played the whole game but 20 points scored in 4th Week 9 Giants (even Eli was pulled) Pretty much every blowout this year starter was pulled..... Quit dreaming that Peterman is the second coming nof Tom Brady and this team is on the cusp of the Superbowl if Tyrod is pulled.....
  15. Sure and Rob Johnson is warming on the sidelines........
  16. Sarcasm....... Complaining non-stop about TT, when the D was shredded over and over and the O was not on the field. As the announcing crew was joking...... Anyone predict that Drew Brees wouldn't throw for 200 or a TD and the Saints would destroy a team by 37 points (up 44 at one point)?
  17. So two weeks ago many here were explaining what a great D Buffalo had and that there was no need for a Buffalo QB to throw for 300 yards...... One three and out and some good field position and maybe the Offense would have been inspired too...... Agreed TT was lousy, but bad field position and maybe if they convert that long pass on 3rd & 1 (drop by Thompson on a perfect pass) or 3rd and 1 stuffed near the half with the score 17-3 maybe a little more respectable. The point of the thread was the Defense was as bad as I've ever seen against the run and these were easy 8-15 yard runs one after another..... Where are those who went on and on about the Defense and the new culture. Where are you now. TT was given an offense set up to fail and more and more not using his skills. There was another post that explained just how little TT is allowed to audible..... At least with Watkins every once in a while he'd go long and Watkins got it (or Goodwin).....
  18. Held Brees under 200 yards and no td passes....... Saints scored on a 94 yard 10 rushing plays TD...... Incredible when broken down.......Rushes of 11, 10 ,9, 9, 15, 11, 11, 5, 6, 7.........
  19. Goff is actually on a pretty tight leash. Only 32 passes/game and if you watch seldom throws into coverage or timing patterns. Most are safe passes. Will see how he performs when they need to produce.
  20. A solid 121st in the NFL. BTW 6.5 is not enough either..... Sure McDermott would have tried to keep it under 3 if still here.....
  21. Sure not crucial but 14-3 at the time and still thought it was a game.......
  22. Simple questions........ What was our brilliant OC's call on the play? Did TT not hit both receivers in the hand? The 40 yard pass was crucial. In any case New Orleans manhandled the defense.
  23. Great blame him for Clay muffing a simple pass, then when he does throw long and hits the receiver on a perfect throw it is dropped...... No winning....... Watkins has regressed because Goff doesn't throw to his #1 receiver because the Rams offense doesn't want to challenge double teams or the opposing teams # 1 CB/DB...... Watkins is open and doing his job, but it seems that the Rams coaching staff is being very careful with Goff....
