  1. Yep you hit the nail on the head. The fact no 5th round rookie has ever been given the starting job and been successful day one doesn't matter, nor making the playoffs. Hat matters is tyrod is gone.
  2. What we heard every week with Tyrod, and I was complaining about not enough yards passing...... So if Tyrod's 56 yards was in a win, we'd have been ecstatic?
  3. It was 5-4 too and Eli was the #1 pick and the NYG future. Kurt Warner was the placeholder. The difference was they were not in a playoff position with 4 winnable games....... By the way the NYG's went 1-6 with Eli..... NP is not a No Brainer, he's their 5th round draft choice.
  4. Well if he puts up 57 yards I can hardly wait for the defense....... "He put up more then Tyrod did"...... The point is (and the locked other thread), why didn't they wait one more week??? The Bills have done something no team in the history of sports has ever done.....
  5. No someone said the QB should adapt to the offense..... I was pointing out if a OC tried to make Brady or Manning running QB's it would fail..... It was a silly comment and post. Loser mentality from a team that hasn't made the playoffs in 17 years. The 215 had many posters saying yards didn't matter, nor passing, just W's...... How many rookie 5th round QB's succeeded in their first start? BTW Tom Brady was 1 for 3 in his rookie year, before someone says something.....
  6. That's funny.... All the rookie 5th rond icks who started have lit it up and can read D's and complete passes. Wow talk about blind Faith..... The Bills even with decimating the offense and lousy play calling are 5-4..... The question is why no wait a week? Because if Tyrod played well they couldn't make a change.... And play out the masterful draft strategy?
  7. Sure make peyton Manning and Tom Brady read option rollout running QBs. Great idea.
  8. When the Bills were winning and I complained about the bad play calling on O and lack of yards I was called names too..... Let me guess.... Bills win 9-6 and Peterman throws for 100 yards and he is called a winner.
  9. No I team has ever thrown a rookie into a must win game with the playoffs on the line..... Closest was RJ vs. Tennessee.
  10. That's the oc's fault then. Tyrod was the QB, you scheme an offense that plays to his strengths. And now the fans pray for a rookie fifth round pick.....
  11. 5-4 and in the playoffs as of now. This is the one game they can win along with Miami x 2 and Indy. Next week and little debate, but like it or not they are in the playoffs and are now starting a rookie fifth round pick.
  12. Or does the Bills front office not care about the playoffs? I am not a Tyrod fan. I am more one who has questioned the FO, coaching, OC and play calling (check my threads & posts). Very simply I thought the FO was while not tanking the season, were more then content if they did go 4-12. The great start changed the narrative, but many still liked the talk about McDermott, discipline and their type of player. So now 5-4 and the playoffs on the line with the one winnable game prior to week 14 and they bench Tyrod???? Again if he went out and stunk up the joint vs. LAC you have an easier time convincing the team, fans & national media and still have 6 weeks to audition Peterman, but to do it this week defies logic. I know there is a large segment here chomping at the bit, praying for a good game from Peterman and to be cackling and beating their chests Sunday night, but again why didn't they play this week out?
  13. Drink the Kool-Aid...... Anyone who is a first-time coach & GM has earned no respect or should be given the benefit of the doubt from an organization that has not made the playoffs in 17 years and coming off disappointing but not terrible seasons under Rex. The # here who actually have fallen for this is astounding. How much easier would it have been just to say we are going to improve the talent of this team, manage the books and be competitive. They lost me when they started by dismantling the offense, not keeping Watkins and seeing what he could accomplish if healthy and forcing TT to use him as the primary target (i.e. 8-10 targets a game), and then rebuliding the defense to where they were in 2014. A QB coach and OC that worked in installing an offense and taking advantage of TT and seeing this on the field in terms of offensive set, audibles, shotgun and seeing multiple sets and movement would tell me whether the issue is with TT or the OC. Instead we get a surprise 5-2 start, McDermott discussion as Coach of the Year and the playoffs actually a possibility. Then two losses and with still the playoffs in site a qb change at the worst possible time (a winnable game). Heck if TT was as bad vs. LAC as he was vs. NO and 5-5 then go ahead and no one get's too excited, but to do it this week just tells you how little the coaching staff knows (or how bad they have been to date if TT really really is that bad and uncoachable). And those buying the FO and coaching staff are just gullible.
  14. So they'll make the playoffs? Tyrod was the much better option vs. LAC. They lose and sure bench him. Putting Peterman had little upside this week.
  15. Again built in excuses. This is all the FO. I'd have waited a week as 5-5 they're toast, 6-4 they control their destiny even losing vs. KC & NE..... 17 years I just want to see the playoffs, and the first round game imo would not be vs. a great team either.....
  16. And this year Sammy was healthy and would have seen a full year and hoped the OC featured him. Again if TT couldn't grasp the offense or execute, then I am wrong about Tyrod. I've however been resolute that the OC, HO and coaching have done him no favours.
  17. Great in the playoff hunt with tiebreakers and 4 winnable games and this is what Bills fans expect......
  18. It means the season is over...... KC & NE the next two weeks are much more difficult games...... This is why it is ridiculous. I supported TT, but did so with the proviso that I blamed the majority of the issues on playcalling, the OC and the pieces around him. Getting rid of his three best WR's (Woods, Goodwin & trading Watkins) entering 2017 told me all I needed to know about the Bills HO thought process. Now anyone who questions my stance, check all the threads & posts bemoaning this offense and the inability to throw throw for 300 yards or show any creativity in the passing game & WR's. However I expect a start similar to Jones' in week 17 vs. the Jets, where the beginning will be promising and will see some glimpses, however by the end it will look like a Brock Osweiller performance. Sunday night they'll be plenty of threads commending Peterman for competing and pointing out those 3-4 good passes and excited at 5-5 about how much better he'll be with another week of reps vs. KC....... Such is the life of a Bills fan......
  19. There's different levels of garbage time and who is on the field. Benches are not cleared if it is a 14 point game with 4 minutes left. 44 points with 8 minutes left is garbage time...... Again if TT was so inept that he couldn't make a read or audible at the line then you are right. I just can't believe he made the same mistakes for 2.5 years with no growth. I blamed the OC.....
  20. You know for a fact? I doubt anyone takes out their starters until mid fourth quarter. If I'm wrong I apologize.
