  1. But does Rodgers fit the OC's philosophy and is he a McDermott guy? Remember it is all about their character and playing their system!!!!
  2. Yes we know you want the Bills and more importantly Tyrod to be awful...... We get it..... And LAC and their pedestrian offense after the last two weeks is the best in the league. Often changes week to week and frankly the OC better be ready on Sunday. As stated I was completely off the Bills to start the season seeing what they did to the offense. In all my years (since 1972) I had never seen a new coach & FO come in and basically announce they were tanking (yea yea they never said it), just made moves that direction. At 4-2 I started wondering and at 5-2 I was ready to buy in (though still pissed at what they did to the offense). So yes I want Tyrod to play well on Sunday and the team to turn around on D as NYG has (so yes can happen).
  3. Knows nothing about football and doesn't watch the Bills, because then he'd say it was Tyrod...... Did I get it right tsw?
  4. Here we go again...... Give them 3 years, because of all they've proven with their bombast. I'd respected them a whole lot more if they said we are going to build on what I see as a team on the cusp mired around .500 and make the Bills a destination spot for players. Instead they sold us that this is actually just a terrible team in need of a tear down and we are the saviors. Trading the better player in every trade made (outside Benjamin) doesn't instill any confidence because we have no idea if these guys are any good..... And again Mathews better then Darby (we got more in the trade so Philly thought Darby is the better player) And stop it thinking Gaines is any good and better then Watkins. When healthy Gaines has done a good (not great) job.
  5. Again Dak is three in a row (2 at home). No when I don't see play calling or a game plan that looks anything more then pedestrian and predictable, I won't put all the blame on Taylor. Heck give the Bills OC & credit vs. LAC. At least they tried to be aggressive and the results with Peterman were as expected. Again unfair to ask him to process and be at all prepared (not because he only had 3 days before someone uses that tired argument) because he is a 5th round rookie and they just are not ready........
  6. Are you that daft? We are talking 3 games in a row........ 8 Ints & 3 fumbles..... I was pointing out just how bad Dak is, the league probably has caught up to him and he has a much better team & receivers. Obviously Dallas hoped they had the second coming of Tom Brady (and the exact same situation). Dallas I think misses Romo about now. Hope too Dak becomes a serviceable QB. A star the jury is still out on.
  7. I feel bad for Peterman, but doesn't mean I can't laugh about it. I blame it 100% on the HO & coaching staff and if McDermott was a man as said he should have apologized and said he failed Peterman, the team & the fans...... Laughed at this admittedly http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/12220/nathan-peterman Now if he comes back then all the power to him, just not this year.
  8. I did see, the point is Dallas was terrible on both sides of the ball. Tyrod would have been crucified if he had the first half Dak did. But no way Dak is being pulled (though they are out of the playoff race). I'd say Dallas should be looking at a QB in the off season as Dak has been exposed too....
  9. Funny as many yards as they had in the first half the score was only 3-0. Dak & the Cowboys were atrocious.
  10. All the more reason he shouldn't have been started. However I'd be worried about Dallas right now if I was a Dallas fan. Dak was a low pick and their backup is a rookie UFA.
  11. I have no ill will towards Nate Peterman, just the coaching staff and FO and how they have handled the offense and sold the media & fans on this team. Maybe Peterman will be ready part way through 2018 or 2019, just want the Bills to try and compete. The decision to play him was a farce. Looking forward (I hope) to your comments, though if it is "It wasn't Peterman's fault on 4 of the ints" please warn me in advance.
  12. And he wasn't a #1 pick!!!!! Fifth round rookie!!!!!!
  13. No three weeks and hasn't scored 10 points in any game........ He'd be done in Buffalo..... 5 Ints (all last 2) & 3 fumbles last 3 games.
  14. Anyone watching Dak Prescott today? Putrid the last 3 weeks (2 home), much worse then Tyrod with much better talent. They have an undrafted rookie that they should start next week......
  15. I'll judge him being a 5th round rookie draft choice. The chances of being serviceable may occur year 2-3 and that is a longshot too.....
  16. No the worst was Peterman and 5 ints. Taylor was 9-18 No rthym and a dropped perfect pass to to Thompson when the game was still close. Afterwards it was just run run run. Taylor was bad vs. NO. Peterman was a sad joke vs. LAC.
  17. We have an OC who has said he's implementing his system and the it's up to the qb to play it, which is ridiculous. The OC's job is to maximize the strengths of all 11 on offense, most important being the qb. The HO & coach take away his best receiver (by a mile), who he has had success with and then the vet they signed walks out on the team. Any answers for that one?
  18. This is part of the larger debate that McDermott & Beane did whatever they could to handcuff the Bills offense and Tyrod. The trade was terrible and imo led to the next domino of Boldin walking away. An offense that doesn't maximize their QB's strength, trading his most dynamic receiver who he was building a good rapport with, putting him under center, asking him to stay in the pocket........ Mistake after mistake after mistake.
  19. No Goff (and McVay) have........ I said it elsewhere but if he stays healthy through the end of the season someone will pay him $10,000,000+ and hopefully not to be a decoy...... Can't catch what's not thrown at you (1 drop this season if people want to know).........
  20. And I would have rather had a full season of Watkins........ You have to pay for talent.
  21. And why exactly? Pop-Warner Football, High School, The Heisman caliber 2-year College career? 56% passing in pre-season or the drive vs. NO down 44? He is a rookie 5th rounder........
  22. Bang on........ Could you imagine if Belichek in 2017 implemented a running mobile qb game plan and announced to the world that is what Tom Brady will be running....... Defies logic.
  23. And from Sammy Watkins...... THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. -- Sammy Watkins has a saying. A belief, actually. "Ninety-percent of the time, I feel like I'm open," he said. "The other 10 percent, some s--- go bad with the quarterback; a sack or something like that. But 90 percent of the time, I feel like I'm open." If that's the case, now is the time for the Los Angeles Rams to find him. He sees it the same way I do.......
  24. Anyone who bought that Peterman gave them the best chance at winning are probably surveying swampland in Florida as we speak.
  25. He's a fifth round daft choice. They are seldom ready for much besides backing up good quarterbacks for a # of years, learning and maybe, maybe if lucky get a chance to win a starting job 4 years later. He was not and will not be ready. Again if happy to tank 2018, then so be it........ I'm not. And the NFL is about strong agile QB's with arms........ Talk about the blind leading the blind.
