As stated I have been very adamant that Goff is okay and is playing at this level due to incredible coaching, schemes and playcalling. Alphadawg7 has watched them and supported my observation that is entirely on Goff & the coaching that he doesn't get targeted. BTW the Rams/NO game should be a good one.

And I too am tired of 184 yards passing, but how about search my threads when I lament the inability to even try to throw for 300 yards and see me get lambasted. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

On the field he put up #'s though targeted like a #2 receiver. Had some injuries and may never have been 100%, but solid #'s. Like many others I'd like to have seen him thrown the ball and see what he could do with volume. In 2015 he was 22nd in yards receiving and 47th in targets. It doesn't seem a stretch that throw him 9 balls/game and he'll catch 6 (the usual #1 %) and then over 16 games that's 96 catches...... Heck look at the excitement that the Bills got Matthews who in 2016 was targeted 117 in 13 starts by a rookie qb..... In 2016 Philadelphia threw 609 passes vs. Buffalo's 474 (465 in 2015).

Actually there is little love for Tyrod. More people scratch their head that the coach would put in a system that doesn't use his strengths, trade away his best options, have a mickey mouse formation with no creativity and playcalling that is baffling to say the least. Most of us have no idea how good Tyrod is because of the OC, trading away their best receiver, the schemes and that when we see the team line up at the LOS, there is little movement and usually the play is obvious for all to see. He's handcuffed, and there was a glimmer in the second half vs. LAC (with the LAC starters still playing) that at least there was some fire in the Bills offense. And McDermott is trying to fit a square peg (perfectly functional) into a round hole. It is pretty simple you adapt to your skill players strengths, not vice versa. The Fanboys as you call them was anyone clamoring to start a 5th round rookie and thinking he had any shot...... The fact still people a dissecting every throw he made and defending him is preposterous......

As said I expect with Woods out Goff will finally probably need to throw to Watkins. I expect from here to the end of the season he'll see more targets. If he doesn't perform, stay healthy and sign for $9-$12,000,000 then I'll admit I'm wrong. You? Good game Sunday vs. NO..... Going to watch?

5th round draft choices upside is a competent backup come year 3-4. Brady was a once in a lifetime and if Bledsoe wasn't injured may never have started an NFL game. If he threw 5 ints that first game too he'd never have played again.

Julio's drop cost them the Carolina game. How would you react if it was Sammy. How about watching a Rams game before making assumptions. The 1000 yards was on the 29th passing offense and 7.5 targets a game so quite impressive actually.

And that article is a month old and still not targeted. That Watkins has kept his mouth shut and been a great teammate (while open and ignored if you watch the Rams play) tells me he's showing great character.

So you finally answered the question that you do not watch the Rams...... Was that so difficult? I am on a spinning cycle and read and watch football on Sunday if you are interested. Have watched a fair bit of the Rams games when on (most have been) and seen very similar to Tyrod when Sammy was here, where you know at the LOS that even if a pass they are not targeting him. And yes I only focus on the offense as it is in stark contrast to Buffalo's and want to see Woods & Watkins. In 2015 Sammy was over 1000 yards and targeted 7.4/gm and missed 3 games...... The top 10 all had over 10/gm. The Bills in 2015 were the 29th ranked pass offense. I'd say as a % of the total passing offense that Sammy was Elite!!!!!
