  1. Now let's pretend that Peterman completed the game & threw for 110 yards, 4 sacks and 2 INts in a 47-10 loss, then he'd probably still be starting. I'm convinced if Peterman did not throw that 5 Int, he would have started the second half. I'm wondering if McDermott learned anything.
  2. Congrats you are right..... I saw the play, Watkins quit and admitted that he was confused (BTW it was only the 3-4th game of the season, but keep harping on it). Watch a game and you will see from their formations and movements that Sammy is the odd man out on many routes. He however has drawn the #1 cover guy and double (since you don't watch and thus can't argue the point) other receivers have room to roam and catch balls. Just a fact, but keep patting yourself on the back.
  3. Here I've started a thread for the 30% of delusional fans who think starting Peterman was the right decision and doubled down that McDermott was wrong to name Taylor the starter vs. KC. I implore you to post here and you can commiserate. I and and all others are not going to post here, but have a single thread to read and get a good laugh at.......
  4. Still 30% were supporting starting Peterman this week..... Defies logic.
  5. Shoot another smart measured post with actual stats to back it up. BTW if the Bills snuck into the playoffs and played the Jags, they'd have a shot...... But remember this is all about building for the future (2022 or 2025 I forget)......
  6. And what do you have to add? And again another poster who hasn't watched games, knows anything about the Rams, their offense and how they use Sammy...... Enough you and Teef and keep patting yourself on the back and not watch the Rams. Your prerogative.....
  7. No anyone with any shred of knowledge knew it was foolhardy and a disaster...... The fact it was worse then anticipated and comedically inept was the whipped cream and cherry on top.
  8. Again we'll see what happens this week and if he plays 16 weeks this year & signs a $10,000,000+ contract you can continue this. As someone who has not watched the games, it is hilarious that you go on and on about Watkins without one shred of actual evidence as to your comments. You don't even have any anecdotal information. Yes he is not targeted a lot........ The All22 though shows him open, so I guess that is his fault????? This week will be interesting and is the best game @ 4:25..... I'll be interested to see how he is used.
  9. Read everything on the Rams. Watkins, not Woods, Kupp, Austin draws the #1 cover and double. That has made along with great schemes and pass plays it easier for Goff to have been successful. Everyone on the Rams is thankful for Watkins. Watch their game and you'll see that.
  10. And that maybe bought him some time (and game 2-3 of the year).
  11. You get it!!!! You can not play Peterman this week. But who knows with these idiots. The spread right now is KC +9.5..... I bet it jumps to 12+ if Peterman is named the starter.
  12. Did I say the Rams????? Again we'll see, but you don't watch the Rams so know absolutely nothing......
  13. Again second round pick (from a small college) not fifth. Didn't play rookie year so got to learn. Came in mop up and did not get the job until an injury....... Keep reaching.....
  14. Yep if no targets, the All22 shows him beating his coverage (# cover guy) and catching the balls thrown to him no doubt...... You can't catch balls not thrown at you (or thrown away).
  15. Again get it right a 5th round QB's upside is at the high end a Journeyman........ If lucky a competent back-up. It is not a all-pro hall of famer....... Only Bills fans......
  16. I'm a fan and not obsessed with salaries and contracts...... But since you asked I checked...... http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/rankings/average/wide-receiver/ Watkins stays healthy the rest of the season and definitely over $10,000,000. As stated I have been very adamant that Goff is okay and is playing at this level due to incredible coaching, schemes and playcalling. Alphadawg7 has watched them and supported my observation that is entirely on Goff & the coaching that he doesn't get targeted. BTW the Rams/NO game should be a good one.
  17. And I too am tired of 184 yards passing, but how about search my threads when I lament the inability to even try to throw for 300 yards and see me get lambasted. You can't have your cake and eat it too.
  18. On the field he put up #'s though targeted like a #2 receiver. Had some injuries and may never have been 100%, but solid #'s. Like many others I'd like to have seen him thrown the ball and see what he could do with volume. In 2015 he was 22nd in yards receiving and 47th in targets. It doesn't seem a stretch that throw him 9 balls/game and he'll catch 6 (the usual #1 %) and then over 16 games that's 96 catches...... Heck look at the excitement that the Bills got Matthews who in 2016 was targeted 117 in 13 starts by a rookie qb..... In 2016 Philadelphia threw 609 passes vs. Buffalo's 474 (465 in 2015).
  19. Actually there is little love for Tyrod. More people scratch their head that the coach would put in a system that doesn't use his strengths, trade away his best options, have a mickey mouse formation with no creativity and playcalling that is baffling to say the least. Most of us have no idea how good Tyrod is because of the OC, trading away their best receiver, the schemes and that when we see the team line up at the LOS, there is little movement and usually the play is obvious for all to see. He's handcuffed, and there was a glimmer in the second half vs. LAC (with the LAC starters still playing) that at least there was some fire in the Bills offense. And McDermott is trying to fit a square peg (perfectly functional) into a round hole. It is pretty simple you adapt to your skill players strengths, not vice versa. The Fanboys as you call them was anyone clamoring to start a 5th round rookie and thinking he had any shot...... The fact still people a dissecting every throw he made and defending him is preposterous......
  20. How dare you offer an informed opinion and have actually watched the games...... Uninformed opinions when one hasn't seen the Rams are much more sensical. Scary thing is Kupp & Autin may well be targeted more then Watkins.......
  21. As said I expect with Woods out Goff will finally probably need to throw to Watkins. I expect from here to the end of the season he'll see more targets. If he doesn't perform, stay healthy and sign for $9-$12,000,000 then I'll admit I'm wrong. You? Good game Sunday vs. NO..... Going to watch?
  22. Really?????? Stop it right now..... There is not a single player on the Bills that wants Peterman starting Sunday (and that includes Nate).....
  23. Then the Bills would have crushed the Chargers........ Sheez stop the insanity!!!!!!!
  24. It is funny because McDemott still hasn't named a starter fir Sunday. Heck the real media has forgotten the story because no one in his right mind would star hime..... The media though really doesn't know Buffalo......
  25. More then Tyrod in 3 quarters vs. NO....... And none of the ints were his fault. Quit blaming him!!!!! Did you see that pass to Benjamin!!!!!!
