  1. Yea you mean those 8 passes over 35 yards (never pass and run just bombs) to Watkins in 2015 never happened?
  2. And this was the same with TT. Watching Watkins run open or lined up in favorable coverage and no checkdowns, movement by the WR's, surveying the field or audibles drove me crazy. Then week 2 of pre-season 4 straight passes to Watkins and all of a sudden it seems the light was turned on only to see him traded and a train wreck of an offense (setting TT to fail) tells me what I want to know about the Bills FO. Again Watkins/Boldin/Jones vs. Matthews/Jones...... Which is better?
  3. Trust the process...... Not worth arguing as those who hated Watkins was solely based on them buying in to the crapshoot that is the NFL Draft. The Bills paid too much and he get's injured. Who cares when he was 100% healthy he was elite. 8-8 is the worst case scenario (and very likely) as now the TT debate and a mid first round pick is up the Bills again. I didn't fully blame TT, I thought the OC made little attempt to spotlight him. They seem to do it with Shady, but as I always said you watch Watkins and the lack of movement or lining him up elsewhere along with Tyrod seldom surveying the field or audiblng (sp?) and to me it was a major issue. I see the same with Goff. So for the "HATERS" please answer me why opposing coaches have their best players and double coverage assigned to Watkins if he is so bad? Why do countless press/announcers/experts too ask why Goff isn't throwing to him?
  4. Watch the games. TT nor Goff looks for him. They have the play sent in and don't survey the field of the matchups. I can promise you that any competent seasoned QB would be throwing him the ball. These are basically rookies. Also the #1 defenders are assigned to him as are double teams. But I guess opposing coaches don't know anything either. It is sad to see.
  5. No I did not discount it, just commented that they were severely shorthanded and was pointing out they beat the Pats convincingly in 2016, shut them out in fact and their offense was productive (i.e. moved the ball) that day. Of course I realize who they beat, but just explaining in both 2016 & 2017 the Bills were 3-2...... Looks pretty much identical. My continual statement is that if Watkins & Boldin were still here I'd actually expect the Bills to be 4-1 or 5-0. But the FO made sure that wouldn't happen. Maybe they are a bad judge of talent not realizing this was a playoff team?
  6. As opposed to Atlanta playing without their two best receivers? Keep on coming up with the excuses....... The Offense steamrolled NE that day too......
  7. And I remember shutting out the Patriots @ Gillette last year (manhandling them the week after they shutout Houston 27-0)..... No they were as usual around .500
  8. Sure and he only had 67 receptions last year (vs. Jordan Matthews 73)....... I guess I was not at practice..... You mean with the same 3-2 record?
  9. Koolaid. Okay I get it Rex did not live up to the hype. However they were 15-17..... The new HO & Coach has fed the masses this story about how bad the team is and that they need to tear it down before they can turn it around. They were fine. Tweaks on the offense, discipline (less penalties) and the defense that improved and this was a decent team. Instead the offense was gutted and TT hung out to dry with no WR's. Let's go back to the corp after 2 weeks of pre-season...... Watkins, Boldon & Jones..... Something happened and Watkins given away (and I will keep repeating it) as he was establishing rapport with TT and Boldon decided not worth it. I was excited to see a better Offense and a healthy Watkins and they dismantled the team and fed us this line and sold some on draft picks...... I call bull......
  10. Anyone watch the Rams this year. Goff isn't even looking his way and he is open. Don't understand.
  11. The Bills were a 15-17 the last two years and that was blamed mainly on the coach (who was fired). That tells me that the Bills were a coaching staff and some pieces away from being a playoff team (or better). The biggest weakness according to some was the QB. Some here are so excited about was a tank job, that now have done a 180 and are talking playoffs (too bad about the injuries). This team was almost there and the FO jettisoned Watkins and then saw Boldon leave a few days later when he saw the plans for this offense. Pretty much playing some of you for suckers.
  12. Yes they were a terrible 7-9 last year....... He's corrected issues on the D, without too many changes and instilling discipline. The Offense he decimated and the results are pretty obvious.
  13. Rex's offense wasn't that good. The playcalling usually was questionable (unless we blew out teams) and heck still couldn't pass for 300. Through 5 games this year, looks like the D was corrected and nor no reason whatsoever the O was decimated.
  14. Stupid me..... If Watkins was still here, would Boldin too be here? The FO chased him out too.....
  15. And this Offense will continue to be atrocious. The point was, the Offense had some talent but the FO decided to tank and to ensure TT had no receivers. Don't use injuries as an excuse, they made sure there was no depth....... Watkins, Matthews & Jones could have been a really scary combo...... Did you watch the game? I focused on Watkins and Goff never looked his way...... Inexplicable......
  16. Back to the Sammy Watkins haters........ Sorry 2015 should have just been the start and yes some injuries in 2016. Really would have loved to see him and TT in 2017....... A WR threat would make all the difference on this offense..... Keep drinking the FO Koolaid......
  17. You don't need productive wr's to be successful on offense either. Shouldn't be long before someone brings up the Giants' record.
  18. And when he throws for 300 yards????? One OT loss....... Useless stat........ The FO & Coaches set up the team to fail this year and want to tank. They chose the offensive side of the ball to accomplish it and are well on their way (save blips vs. Denver & Atlanta). Sad that FANS think otherwise......
  19. Actually this was the Bill's coaching staffs/FO tanking plan all along. Pathetic that they flushed the season down the drain week 2 of preseason trading Watkins, who was healthy and developing a rapport with TT and then making excuses. This offense could have been perfectly fine and they just didn't care.
  20. I'd be pulling an Antonio Brown right now if I were him. I've watched him run open and Goff doesn't even look at him. Was not surprised he pulled up on that long pass as he's been used 90% of the time as a decoy. When you have the press/experts asking what's happening, you just have to wonder about pig-headed coaches.
  21. Goff doesn't even look at him.... No idea what is going on. The Bills however miss him big time!!!!
  22. Getting a little ahead of yourself are we? Geez talk about blind optimism.....
