That GM search was embarassing
Thrivefourfive replied to Yeezus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You're right.. There's just so much to be positive about! No offense, but think 3/4 of the fan base is silly delusional by now, including myself. -
One of the undrafted pick ups has a mean streak...

That's cool! Must've been a lot of fun in the team film room with a pointer on Bug Zach! -
Is our Bills Medical Staff Failing the team?
Thrivefourfive replied to CanadianFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's the coaching. Players will respond to intentional, honest, smart, and calculated ruthless coaching. The medical and strength & conditioning guys either take the lead of the coaching staff, or they are replaced by those who will. Then, let the PEDs flow like The Falls. The Bills have had none of these things since 1993. -

90 Yards In The Air...
Thrivefourfive replied to Thrivefourfive's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mahomes throwing it 77 yards too. If it was instant replay, you couldn't convince me it's 78. He releases it from the 26 yard line and it appears the ball would've landed about 3 yard into the endzone. -
I'd love to see it. Are those who say What's Up Mahomes throws the ball 90 thru the air totally full of it? The farthest I ever remember seeing a person throw a football is 77 yards, Randell Cunningham during those awesome QB Challenge deals in the 90s. Kyle Boller tossed it 65 from one knee...that was cool. They say Elway could sling it 80, but I never saw it. I want video evidence of a player throwing it over 77 yards. I demand it!

2017 NFL Draft: Round 1 discussion
Thrivefourfive replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Goodell has a terrible habit of mispronouncing the easiest of names. If he can do it correctly, get someone who can. What a shame for the players and families, and an embarrassment for the NFL. Reuben Froster??? Really??? -
Bills doing homework on 2017 QBs
Thrivefourfive replied to blacklabel's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sadly, the Buffalo Bills are fooling no team into jumping up in the draft to pick one of the quarterbacks. Only Bills fans believe that's a possibility. The real talk around the shield is more like...hey, if the Bills want them, we don't. -
Any team that has beaten the Bills in the playoffs in my lifetime, and the Chiefs for that weirdo 33-6 butt wiping on Monday night in like 1992. There are some interesting teams on that list...Browns, Bengals, and none other than the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The fastest way back to the playoffs
Thrivefourfive replied to Bronxbomber21's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nah, I happen to disagree. It should be THE ONLY focus until it is fixed...and right now, it's not. Doing the other thing hasn't proven to be very successful for the past 20 years. I'm not sure what's so difficult to understand. Some fans are so emotionally wrapped up in Taylor it's starting to become odd. The OP asked what the Bills need to do to get into the playoffs sooner rather than later. I think the answer is one in the same - It's quarterback. Taylor isn't good enough. I hope I'm wrong...so far, I'm not. He needs a lot of team help to overcome his deficiencies. No franchise can make that happen year in and year out. -
The fastest way back to the playoffs
Thrivefourfive replied to Bronxbomber21's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It would be something at quarterback. The only way I see the Bills even making the playoffs next season is if their defense is a dominant #1 and doesn't choke away a big game or two, but actually wins that big game. I hope to eat my own words, but I'm afraid Taylor cannot win any game with his arm, and his legs will fail him soon enough. He will never be a game changing passer, if it hasn't happened already, and the Shades will be half a step slower each year from here on out. They have to address quarterback this off season. Rolling with Taylor and allowing for Jones to develop is a plan, but not one that I think is going to produce a playoff spot this season or next. But, hey, what the hell do I know.. -

Who is the next dynasty?
Thrivefourfive replied to TheFunPolice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think it absolutely is!! It's naive to think these guys still don't sell out to get the job done. They're all junkies of some sort -- ego, adrenaline, fame, fortune, winning, etc. Have a certified Bills official sit in a room with players one on one and offer them a better performance on the field through a powder, pill, needle, or whatever, and most players will jump at the opportunity. When it comes to adults making their own choices, I'm okay with steriods. It would be better if the medical field invested resources in safer steroids, instead of just saying, "They're bad." Players still gonna do what players do. -
I used to like Sports Reporters when Saunders hosted (RIP, good fella). Now, Lupica is even more out of control. He must drink half the coffee at the local Starbucks each morning. I don't undertstand how anyone can listen to Jemele Hill. She is knowledgeable about sports, but that voice belongs nowhere near a microphone. And the whole Michael Smith pairing is gross. Boo SC6. I know smart people that love Cowherd, but watching him silently lip everything his guest are saying and those really weird faces when he's listening to someone are just plain disturbing. His whole shtick is played out. Anything Cris Carter sucks balls. He's absurd. Anything ESPN NFL sucks too with their huge panels. I record Dan Patrick and watch it religiously. Through it all, DP is DP. He seems like an honest, fair guy, who speaks his mind, and he's supported by a great staff. Suck it back row!!

Who is the next dynasty?
Thrivefourfive replied to TheFunPolice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Whoever has the best drug supply department. If the Bills are to win, this needs to happen. Dallas was looking very fit on the defensive line this year. -
He's the greatest. By far now. Y'all are delusional. What more would a QB have to do..? Underinflated footballs..please.

romo and alex smith trades?
Thrivefourfive replied to nuklz2594's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd rather watch 4-12 football with hopes for a future, than sit through Alex Smith dunking the ball to....nobody. His favorite target at KC is a guy that Buffalo doesn't have. Nobody really has a Travis Kelce...he don't get hurt. I'm warming up to the Romo era. Playoffs if he makes it standing up. And an indirect tank job if he crumbles. Win-win. -
I'm sure I'll still hate him as an announcer, but hearing him on Stern open up about being a bastard child, losing his voice because of hair plugs, and cursing up a storm makes me resoect him.

Deshaun Watson a Bargain in 1st for Bills - DP
Thrivefourfive replied to Thrivefourfive's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
One thing I like about Watson is that he has faced adversity, big league, on and off the field, and trumped it. Some of these college kids (Petty) never dealt with a hair out of place. Those guys crumble under NFL pressure. On and off field.
