  1. We're so bad at "EPA/play when leading" that they decided to list it twice (i.e., repeat it)! Thanks for nothing!!
  2. Going with GB - Not thrilled about Flacco but doesn't seem like enough time to be fully integrated, and if Burrow got sacked a lot, imagine what could happen with Flacco! I am guessing everyone still alive in our pool will pick GB (no one has picked them yet)
  3. Even focusing just on last Sunday's game, and the offense specifically, don't think it can be pinned on "everybody eats" mentality. The dumb Knox/Allen sweep? The Keon fumble on a fairly pedestrian tackle? Very little to do with EE. Has everything to do with dumb mistakes. We rarely lose turnover battle and we did on Sunday. And we lost a close one.
  4. Totally agree! With two kids in high school, it's great to have the game at 7:15 vs. 8:20 on a school night. Makes a big difference in my book.
  5. Totally agree - I'd be very curious to see how other key rivals of ours (eg Chiefs, Ravens) look in similar tables. To get at whether it's a Hochuli issue or a Hochuli-Bills issue. Thanks!!
  6. Ty Johnson looked good to me - He should have gotten 2-3 more snaps and none for Davis. Davis should be relegated to 3rd RB and only used if absolutely necessary.
  7. Lions worked out well for me this week - Blood bath otherwise - We're down to 5 or 6 people (depending on tomorrow night for one person) out of 34 to start.
  8. There are several things I imagine aren't true here: That Sanchez was himself ordering Door Dash That Sanchez was sober That Sanchez is blameless That Sanchez is a super patient, mellow dude when he isn't sober. I may be wrong but those are my hunches!
  9. It also excludes number of sacks, and Maye has 2X Allen's IIRC.
  10. Bills 31 Patriots 20 Ravens: Worried and should have been worried Jets: Moderately worried (Jets as "Ravens light") and shouldn't have been worried Dolphins: Moderately worried and perhaps should have been worried Saints: Not worried and perhaps should have been worried Patriots: Moderately worried and TBD!! But I think it'll end up in the "perhaps should have been worried" group, meaning a close-ish game that we pull out comfortably in the end
  11. Thankful I still have the Bills as an option this week (lots of people in my pool already picked them) - That's my pick.
  12. It's great and all, but this is one of those stats that's impacted by playing more games in the regular season - Ties the arms around the older guys like Reed and Thomas.
  13. Probably also related to the short week (keep things as simple as possible).
  14. So he's probably done for the year - Would need for Bengals to be in playoff contention (which would mean Browning is playing well) + smooth recovery + lack of confidence in Browning vs. Burrow. All of the above seems unlikely (and some of it is contradictory).
  15. I'm a huge fan - Kincaid's blocking seems to have improved too (to my untrained eye) and he's catching some balls so we really have a 3-headed monster at TE atm.
  16. I saw this and it doesn't make any sense because many teams like the Bills and Chiefs won in January 2025.
  17. Bills 31 Jets 20 (I guess I'm agreeing with F's Dead!).
  18. True, but also assumes we'd stop the Ravens from getting just one first down - I was a little surprised Ravens weren't a little more aggressive in that spot. But I can't blame them for punting on 4th and 3 (particularly given Lamar had just gotten clobbered by Big Ed).
  19. The interesting thing to me is that IIRC McDermott tightened up similarly in the second half of the playoff game and let the Ravens back in a bit by being somewhat conservative. So maybe Harbaugh and McDermott coach similarly with a sizeable lead? And perhaps true of a lot of coaches? It's also interesting to me that we missed a 2-pt conversion near the end of the game to tie it (like what happened with the Ravens). Thankfully we had some time left to work with (and 3 timeouts).
