  1. For me, the physicality/bully mentality seems new and refreshing. Like we're gonna line up and punch you in the face. I also think the timing of our bye week helped alot in hindsight. Go Bills!
  2. There's also the possibility that the Bills-Miami game is scheduled for Sunday night and by then, we might know whether we have a playoff berth regardless of the outcome of the Miami game.
  3. That sucks, but are you even sure you can watch the game on Sunday Ticket? I thought Peacock is only way to watch it.
  4. What if I'm a Comcast subscriber in Alexandria, VA but want to watch it in Cincinnati (non Comcast area)?! I'm too old for this crap! I'll probably just sign up and then cancel.
  5. My best guess re the Miami game is that it will in fact be for the division (b/c I see Miami losing at least 1 of next 2), and if the Bills lose in Miami, we'll have a chance to get in as WC in one of those if A + B happens or if C + D + E happens, etc.
  6. Perfect response, and you beat me to it! The coulda shoulda woulda stuff cuts both ways.
  7. Two words: Just win! Go Bills!!
  8. He almost got a sack last weekend and definitely caused problems for Mahomes on other plays as well. And his slow emergence (fingers crossed) happens to be coming when AJE got hurt. Very beneficial timing! Putting the off-field stuff aside, a glass-half-full view of things is that we're going to start seeing a healthy dose of the old Von.
  9. Yes! Game was on Field C and then we walked up to the lobby.
  10. Amazing win and equally stressful! Second game in a row where my son had an indoor soccer game from 6:30-7:30 - Coaches have been nice enough to let me sit behind the bench and keep my son apprised of the game. And just like 2 weeks ago, after the soccer game, we got to view the end on a real TV (with his friends nearby, all Bengals fans). And we pulled it off! So awesome. Opposite of two weeks ago: Zach's soccer team loses but Bills win. As fate would have it, guess when his next indoor soccer game is?!
  11. Totally agree - It's one of those calls that has to be made and is obvious/clearcut (like 12 men on the field) - If the zebras see it, they have to call it.
  12. Kincaid on offense - I hate to even say this (and to be clear, I am not sure I'm even in favor of him playing at all for multiple reasons), but if Von plays a nontrivial number of snaps, watch out - He will be extremely motivated with his hair on fire in my view. Could be a big surprise.
  13. Candidate for post of the year! Although maybe lost on a lot of you younger folks!
  14. Very fair assessment - Fans of opposing teams like yourself are more than welcome on this board! Appreciate the insights. My view is that this matchup has almost become like a divisional one since the teams have played so often recently. Like most Bills fans, I think we're hoping for the best but fearing the worst (e.g., 4th quarter/OT collapse).
  15. Playoff race got a lot tighter today - Going to be interesting if we can take care of our business in a week!
  16. Nice work here! And it is key to measure it this way (picks relative to throws) - So many stats thrown around these days fail to account for 17-game season, changes in rules, whether QB sits most of his first year, etc. This is much more of a pure metric.
  17. It wouldn't be the most Billsy, but the "best guess" within-game Billsy thing would be to seemingly kick the Chiefs @ss most of the game and then give it away late in Q4 or OT. Let's just hope the Philly OT loss has the same effect as the Tampa (OT?) loss!
  18. Only hope is taking the brace off. Otherwise, I am not very optimistic!
  19. Bills 30, Eagles 23. We keep clicking on O and do enough on D to keep them in check.
  20. Someone mentioned how the upcoming bye week might also benefit the Bills - One usually thinks about the benefit of a bye for the following week (extra rest, more time for injuries to improve, retool as necessary, etc.) but maybe there's also a psychological benefit on the front end as well: Play extra hard/aggressive knowing you have more time to heal; a bit more incentive to win so don't have "bad taste in your mouth" for an extra week? Perhaps a stretch but hopefully it's another modest factor in our favor. Go Bills!
  21. Agreed, as of right now, the model essentially says, win out and we're in. Lose one of six, and we are almost surely in (96%). Lose two of six, and we're something like 56% chance. Lose three of six, it says 11% chance. Of course, everything will keep changing.
