  1. They are more likely than the other two teams to stick with their young QB. But say you are correct and they bring back Brady or something crazy, they still are far behind the Jets and Dolphins in terms of overall talent on the roster . That is my thinking. As long as the Jets and Dolphins make an upgrade at QB it won’t matter what upgrade the Patriots make.
  2. Ball should come out sooner. If what you are saying is true then that is three straight end zone shots when just getting three there would have been nice.
  3. that 48-45 loss to Seattle ended up costing them a playoff spot. Crazy. But Lions are looking legit for the future. They will be beating GB’s ass like we beat NE’s for years to come.
  4. It’s irritating all the end zone shots when we get around the 15-20 yard line. Today, two end zone shots then on 3rd and long Allen forces a throw for a pick. Similar sequence at the end of the Vikings game ended that game with an INT.
  5. Detroit is going to be a beast for the next 10 years. I’d ride with Goff I think. Follow the Kyle Shanahan model and win with defense and a balanced offense that doesn’t ask the QB to be super man.
  6. he was like really, really bad with the Steelers though. Unreal how bad he was. I expected good things out of him after his time here.
  7. He was brutal on the Steelers this year. Totally outplayed by a rookie. He really cost the Steelers a playoff spot. No thanks to Mitch.
  8. 0 percent at this point. Gabe is completely replaceable. Hurts to say that because I thought he was a near guarantee to breakout this year. But at this point he needs a good playoff performance just to guarantee he has a roster spot next year and Beane doesn’t start looking for a replacement early.
  9. The Patriots have a serious problem. The problem being the number of good vet QB’s that are on the market for the Jets and Dolphins to pick up this off-season. Once that happens the Pats will be relegated to the AFC East basement for years to come.
  10. To heck with the Chiefs. Bengals are the real team to beat IMO. I’m way more confident in a match up against the Chiefs than I am the Bengals.
  11. Hopefully we get 30mph winds in the Divisional round against the Bengals.
  12. he lit our secondary up last time we played them. He’s not that good but he is the Dolphins only hope. Just throw an accurate pass to Hill or Waddle and let them do the rest.
  13. will be interesting for sure. Got to believe the league office is applying pressure for him not to play.
  14. Bills are 0-2 covering against Miami this year I believe. Current line i see is Bills -10.5
  15. Our offense should have their way with the Dolphins. The scary thing about the Dolphins obviously is that they can score from anywhere on the field on any play. They can win on what you would normally call fluke plays except for the Dolphins they are not flukes because they can get two or three of them a game.
  16. Yep. Exactly why the Patriots or Steelers would have been a better draw.
  17. Funny all the negative responses for pointing out the obvious that this was always the worst possible WC match up for the Bills assuming Tua is back.
  18. They won't have one until the Tua situation becomes clear. Without Tua, Bills by around 9 or 10. With Tua Bills by 6 or less I would think. Hill was also banged up. Not sure if he returned today.
  19. We might be in trouble if he does. Easy win if he does not.
  20. Let's hope playoff Gabe shows up because we aren't going to the Super Bowl without that version of him.
  21. interesting exchange on comparing Newton to Allen when Allen has been light years better than Newton? again Newton had one great year in an 11 year career. Allen had had three such years out of 5 seasons played. your whole premise seems to be Allen needs to change or he will have the same career fate as Newton. You don’t realize that is impossible since Allen is already greater than Newton. I think it helps him tremendously yes. I could be wrong but I don’t think Allen will ever play the position like a point guard like Mahomes does distributing. Allen can probably play like Big Ben if he loses his ability to run but Big Ben was not a distributor like Mahomes either.
  22. you haven’t thought to consider that Allen is a top 5 QB because of the style he plays. The reckless don’t give a crap, do anything to win attitude? Take that away from him and he might only be a top 15 QB. What good is having a top 15 talent QB for 15 seasons?
  23. the shoulder was scrambling to throw. AKA picture perfect Big Ben play so your whole Big Ben argument is shot to pieces. Fact is all of Allen’s most serious injuries that would effect his ability to throw have been from plays where he was in fact throwing. I just don’t understand this fanhood poster. He’s basically hoping Allen has a short career at this point so he can be proven right for some sick reason.
