  1. We are the 90's Bills except the conference is loaded so we never actually make the big dance. I still suspect the Bills could beat the Cheifs next week if they had a shot at them. The problem is just as the Chiefs start to decline a bit a new bully emerges in the Bengals.
  2. It was before Beane's time running the draft but man, TJ Watt was on the board when we selected White in 2017.
  3. Yep. And any investment at all in RB is really just dumb. Three out of four seasons, investing at RB is criminal.
  4. Okay. You want to keep Frazier? Lol.
  5. These are unique circumstances. Marty Schottenheimer was fired after a 14-2 season.
  6. A positional coach is not a big enough change up. it will have to be a coordinator. The only question is will it only be Frazier or will both get canned?
  7. It will surely be Frazier. No way that doesn't happen.
  8. The only positive I can take into next season is that I will enjoy flying under the radar to start the season. This team and Allen will get very little respect even if they start hot out the gate. This was a weird season where despite holding a great record and first place in the standings for the majority of it, we just constantly felt like we were underachieving expectations.
  9. Is the ink dry on the Jim Schwartz to the Browns contract? On top of the playoff failures, the other large disaster has been the mid-season collapse of the team in two consecutive seasons. Our in-ability to have one dominant 14-2 or 15-2 season has cost us the 1 seed in multiple years now. And it's not necessarily about the bye week and home field. It's about getting to play the lowest remaining seed in the divisional round. For two straight years now the Bills had to beat either the Chiefs or the Bengals in the divisional round before even advancing to the conference championship weekend. They have failed twice. Meanwhile, KC gets an easier path this year. I do think the Bengals will beat them though.
  10. I actually still think the Bills are better than KC despite today’s drubbing. KC is 1-5 against the Bills and Bengals in their last six. They have their own issues. I expect the Begngals to handle the Chiefs next week.
  11. Bengals should win next week but the current line I see is around a pick ‘em which I don’t find much value in.
  12. Never thought I would think this but maybe KC? I will probably ML whoever represents the afc in the Super Bowl and hope like heck that they lose. I don’t know. seemed like they did a lot of chirping afterwords once it became clear Hamlin was going to be okay. I also just hate having to look up to two teams that have achieved enormous amounts of success while the Bills have floundered while being so close. If the Chiefs win next week it is still basically the Chiefs and then everyone else which I am used to at this point. will certainly be pulling for the NFC in the Super Bowl.
  13. McDemott will start the 2023 season on the hot seat. The reality is when expectations are high just making the playoffs no longer cuts it. Forget who it was, maybe @Chaos ?but they did a great breakdown of how a head coach and QB combo will win the Super Bowl within the first 5 seasons of being together. McDemott and Allen are going into year six next season. They are currently going backwards. Allen isn’t going anywhere.
  14. i think the MNF game was very telling of what to expect today from our defense. Unfortunately would have liked the offense to score at least 24 points themselves to keep it close. at this point I say blow it all up. The only player that should be guaranteed a spot back is Allen. Everyone else needs to earn the job or I listen to phone calls on trades. That includes our studs under contract like Diggs and Milano. I at least listen to trade offers. the team is going backwards. Division and conference are getting tougher.
  15. The ravens seemed to have a good game plan. Is our defensive personnel that much worse than the Ravens?
  16. I’m typically not that guy but this one looks like it is over. I agree with the folks who say if this is the defense we are going to get every postseason why spend money on it at all? Allen alone can get us to the playoffs every year. Might as well as spend on the offense and win shootouts.
  17. the TD had nothing to do with the snow though. Just a busted coverage.
  18. That only applies to select teams who will have to pay their QB in the next few years. Some won't have a QB worth paying and others like the Chiefs have already paid their QB. When the cap goes up every team has more money to spend at all positions. Not just the Bills.
  19. That just means all the other teams have the extra cap room to pay higher salaries too. Players become more expensive as teams bid more with the extra cap room. Really doesn't help in terms of available cap space to sign players when the Bills will be out bid by teams with even greater cap space created by the increase in salary cap.
  20. That's because it is one of the least predictive stats season to season. Which can also apply to game to game as well. Whereas other stats like rushing ypg or passing ypg are more predictive.
  21. yes. But do we have that kind of tight end on our roster? Knox is solid but he’s a fringe top 10 tight end in the league now. Kelce is possibly the greatest right end of all time. Big difference.
  22. Eagles vs. 49ers is going to be an epic conference title game.
  23. He'll 100% play next week. Will be interesting to see how immobile he is though. He is a killer with his legs.
  24. Good, you can put your coin pouch to use since you don't have your wallet.
