  1. No way Rex gets fired unless the dumpster fire reaches the main building. In his defense, the personnel that he has on D does not fit his D. They will give him another year, even two.
  2. Local radio creating a mash of "haters" from ESPN. And they were taking over/under calls on whether or not the Patriots will send a player over to the ESPN desk to be interviewed. They are already discussing how the Broncos are going to suffer with/without Peyton. Kirk Minnehan is the biggest douchebag in New England.
  3. Ironically, my brother (a fan of another team) did write a complaint and called the league office after a blown call and did receive a reply. Ironically, the season after his call, Phil Luckett was demoted (he likes to claim it was his doing). It won't help, but they do listen.
  4. Why bring this up? Watch the game this Sunday against NE. Fitzpatrick will snatch defeat from the jaws of victory this weekend. The Jets will have a shot at the upset and he will screw it up with 3 and outs or an ill advised pick. Enough.
  5. Is Tyrod that bad of a QB? What 5 QB's in the AFC are playing remarkably better before the injury? Brady, Dalton, Rivers? I still have faith in Rex. His defenses were never the issue in NY. I would have fallen over at the start of the season if you told me the D would be our issue right now.
  6. Where's the Guinness guy for the noise record?
  7. The Jets defense was NEVER in question. HOwever, they struggled like Hell to put the game away offensively. The Colts are mediocre, but let's not put NE first with the Jets 2.
  8. Last week this board was wondering where the line started to get Super Bowl tickets. Now we are hand wringing about winning 5 games. Are the Colts that bad????
  9. I loved the comeback but Rex has a lot of work to do with this group. NE's defense sucks. It is bad and to get 40+ put up on our D is inexcusable. However, I don't want to win this one. I want the one in November when we are vying for the division. Don't get too high or too low. Bring on the Fish.
  10. I live in NE and for any NE fan to be worried about going to an away game comes from the experience they have seen in their stadiums and how they treat opposing fans. I have watched Bruins' fans rip shirts off of people, I have seen a fan peg a full water bottle at a mascot at a BC game. Go to the Celtics and I've seen a guy yell at a Mavs fan in the restroom. At the Pats, I've seen fights in a parking lot at tailgate parties. And on a personal note, my son wore a Kansas City Royals hat (when they sucked) to a Sox-Blue Jays game and some drunken Chowderhead told him to "$%^ off!" slapped a high five with his bro, stared at me and walked off. I implore Bills fans to be bigger than the Chowderheads who try to harass, intimidate, and generally make life miserable for fans. The sports radio guys have mocked Buffalo, mocked the citizens, and generally been royal douches. They have belittled the Bills and belittled you folks in WNY. I want the fall from grace to start this Sunday.
  11. I am just happy that Buffalo is trying to do something rather than lamenting about cap space and coaching issues. I still believe there is more to come. But rest assured, living in New England, the Pats fans are making a lot of excuses and rationalizing a great deal of how next season will go. At least from their fan base, there is a LOT of concern. I for one, am enjoying it...
  12. If Mallett is out there, go get him. Unless there's a swerve waiting to happen. I still think if there is nothing to get, upgrade like crazy at RB to keep the opponent honest.
  13. I do not have the patience to look at all 25 pages. What about Mike Glennon from the Bucs.
  14. Marshawn. Living in NE, all I hear about is how this game is over b/c the Pats are angry about the deflategate. Forsett ran wild on them two weeks ago. McDaniel's play calling. The Seahags gamble and play with a ton of pressure, he can't get in a habit of becoming too predictable.
  15. Highest quality coach since Marv Levy. We are getting a guy who knows the AFC East, has competed in it, and perhaps Marrone was the guy who was holding the place for the guy. I like the choice, I am excited about next fall and cannot wait to see Rex drawing up schemes for the Patriots game with the superior D he inherits. For all of the naysayers, it seems like bellyaching is part of what it means to be a Bills fan for some of you and it sucks.
  16. Who is Doug better than??? (in no particular order) 1. Mike Smith 2. Marc Trestman 3. Jim Caldwell 4. Marvin Lewis 5. Chuck Pagano 6. Gus Bradley 7. Joe Philbin 8. Mike Zimmer What a pile.
  17. Geno Smith put up numbers that are hard to achieve on video games. He was thrown into a bad spot and was clearly not ready. I still think he is a better athlete than EJ. I certainly don't think he is smarter.
  18. Yesterday the talking head were wondering when the Raiders will win their first game....I think I know when.
  19. The sting from this year is the Bills got our hopes up (again) and found a new bitter way to dash them. The talent is there and there are some very nice pieces. I recall when the Bills drafted Bruce Smith, we saw the potential and needed to find a few more pieces of the puzzle. I am just as disappointed that the team will not be going to the playoffs again as everyone, but Frank has done a decent job in putting this together.
  20. I live in NE and Pats fans want him GONE! Admittedly, his play calling only began to get better, once A) the offensive line meshed B) a running game was established. McDaniel also lost some of his play calling responsibility as well if I recall. Not the answer.
  21. We are in purgatory. We have two QB's both offering mediocre play at best and no first round pick. We are screwed for two more years at best, and we won't be able to keep all of the defensive pieces together waiting for the Offense to catch up. We will avoid the cellar this year, and only avoid being one of the worst teams thanks to the Raiders... It feels hopeless.
  22. More like 7-9 or even 6-10 and no first rounder.... This has been one of the more frustrating losses in recent memory. How many other ways can they lose games?
  23. Suck it up and go into the bye and regroup. With the secondary issues the Jets have anyways, wouldn't we sling it around a bit anyways?
  24. The Jets team that played the Pats this week will win by two touchdowns. The Bills are a year away. If the Jets can gouge the Bills on the ground, it will make Geno look like a Hall of Famer again. This game worries me.
