  1. I've adopted this in my personal fanhood (ie how I actually think/feel, not just post online) and it makes the ride of the season so much more fun, and so much more tolerable when the inevitable lows hit
  2. His growth from week 2 of last season to now is honestly staggering. I don't think we could have reasonably asked for more.
  3. Are you claiming that's what this poster did? Because he thinks no such thing.
  4. The Jets are trash and scum and deserve every bit of the clown show and misery they have.
  5. "Darnold showed this multiple times Sun." Uhh, Joe Buscaglia? I think Sam had more than twice as many batted passes at the line than Josh. They just hit the turf, which is complete luck/coincidence. I think the count was 5 to 1.
  6. Pretty sure Spags is just a clever Bills fan with a good sense of humor
  7. Burst out laughing when i realized he was describing John Brown, and then at the way the announcer calmly corrected it before moving on, first letting him ramble for 30 seconds
  8. I have to say, I've recently stepped back and watched other NFL QBs throw a bit, when it comes to micro-analyzing Allen's accuracy. His accuracy was absolutely fine today and not an issue. He made a few questionable decisions and had a few bounces go the wrong way - less than half the batted passes of Darnold, only he had two deflect into Jets hands and all of Darnold's hit the turf. I mean, people were mad that his throw was slightly to Beasley's left when Beasley volley-ball-served it up to Mosley. And there was Dak on screen, with a wide open TE with no players within 10 yards of him, and the guy had to completely pivot his hips the other way against the grain to catch the football before waltzing in for a TD. This forum would have lit Josh up for placement like that, and here we are ignoring quite a few dimes from the pocket from Josh, stuff we would have killed to see before the game, stuff we saw more today than all of last year combined. Other QBs are allowed throws like that, while Josh often gets shredded.
  9. These guys need to settle down. They're better than the Jets as long as they're not beating themselves.
  10. Whoever merged these goddamn threads made me completely lose my place where I was reading through them. Frustrating Brown being released and Brown signing with a different team are two distinct things that deserved their own threads
  11. So how does the practice squad work? Do these guys practice with the team at the same time as team practices? Or is it this own separate thing at a different time and place?
  12. Thought about saying that. I've also read about how strong the middle of their defense is despite how weak the outside of it is, but I don't know enough about their LBs/Safeties to compare to ours. I doubt even with Adams that I'd like their safeties better than ours. The most important position I feel they're better at is QB, but I believe it's close enough that the fact that we're more complete all around can get us a week 1 victory.
  13. QB, WR, RB, DT. Maybe more, but I'm not super familiar with their roster
  14. This is a completely legitimate concern, and nothing he said was inaccurate or over the top. Once again, Bills fans are completely insane. The reactions to the OP are incredible.
  15. There was literally nothing trollish about what any fan said about Darnold, and the poster comparing his instincts and accuracy to Allen has a point that even the most biased Bills fan should feel deep down if they bother to watch both players. That doesn't mean Allen can't become everything we need him to be. It's insane how this forum jumps on any post that doesn't paint the Bills in divine light.
  16. Ah yes, all different opinions that could ever be construed are equal, valid, and necessary for diverse and in-depth discussions /s Offseason-overconfident bills fans are infinite, they were there in droves in 2002, they're here now, and they're insane
  17. Not positive, but Sal (I think) said he, Murphy, and Wood will be covering it because it's their "training camp" too, to get ready for the season on the broadcasting side of things. I'd assume that would be on WGR, but I didn't hear it explicitly stated.
  18. I don't care about the presence of political commentary occasionally weaved into something like this, but the number and nature of the political jabs in these this season just feels forced and a tad desperate or something. Not particularly clever.
  19. I've been to finheaven and another Dolphins forum and I can't find any meaningful Josh discussion other than a few generally optimistic comments, aand one thread declaring their QB situation the best in the league. Maybe I misread your post, did you see doom and gloom? Or are you just laughing at their optimism in general? It reads just like ours has any year in the past really.
  20. Hundreds of posts on an opposing team's message board, presumably all patrolling for comments about your precious team. God you guys are ridiculous and sad
  21. Without a doubt. It took all of 30 seconds on the first day at my graduate department 1500 miles from Buffalo for the three other Sabres/Bills fans in the department from the area to notice my shirt and have enthusiastic conversations with me about Buffalo.
  22. Yeah, thank god O'Reilly is over there poisoning the St. Louis locker roo- oh Well thank god Vlad Sobotka and Tage Thompson weren't two of the worst skaters in the entire NHL this year, and that our locker room doesn't have any more cancers/quitters, hello Berglu- oh Dareus-ROR is a terrible comparison.
  23. None of your extensive number of posts on this topic have been remotely compelling
