  1. I'd say he played pretty well against the Jets in his only start too
  2. I didn't mean to imply that we had to rely on Oliver for pressure. Were not gonna get to every QB on every dropback.
  3. I honestly feel like the defense is more the key here, even moreso than Allen's performance. I just don't feel like Allen is quite there yet, would so love to be proven wrong about that. I'm very much hoping the Bills were working on the run and run defense in Detroit. Wasn't too excited about Stafford and Hockenson playing catch
  4. If Oliver is as advertised in terms of getting pressure up the middle, I don't know whether or not Darnold is effective throwing on the run. I don't think he'll be taking many 7 step drops, but if he does, that could be a favorable outcome in the Bills favor either by our D line or our Safeties. I'm trusting our LBs to shut down the short stuff, Bell might get his bell rung by Edmonds a few times on some screens
  5. I don’t think we should be overlooking our own defense. I’m not denying Darnold has talent, but I really believe our defense will give him fits. Bell isn’t gonna come in and be what he was after being off a year and no preseason games. A lot of pundits have this marked down as a loss for the Bills, but I honestly believe they’re overlooking our D and overestimating the Jets’ O.
  6. I remember hearing that and thinking it was McDermott that said that
  7. The Bills already have a good D, McDermott with Clowney might be something other teams don't want. Could be Clowney's way of stepping out of Watt's shadow
  8. I think it's somewhat possible other teams are getting involved to keep the Bills from getting Clowney
  9. Seems to me an NFC team would have the upper hand. Not sure what the Dolphins are thinking here, an edge rusher would do absolutely nothing for that team
  10. At first I was skeptical about going after Clowney, but after thinking about it, I imagine it's hard to put up good numbers playing across from JJ Watt. I'm not knocking Hughes, but Clowney might actually flourish more here, especially under McDermott
  11. Double digit sacks in his first three years here, I'd say he did his part. Rex comes in and totally wrecks everything
  12. Only thing I could figure is the Texans want Tunsil, but losing him alone would be basically gutting the team
  13. Ok so if Allen ends up stinking it up or getting hurt, you’re ok with Tyree Jackson?
  14. Ok, so 2 firsts for an average QB. The same average QB that put up a 40 burger in his only start against the Jets? That was with a bad O line and below par receivers. You really want to give that to Reich?
  15. With the Texans' oline, Watson may be the next one to retire
  16. No thanks, don't want Barkley standing in our way to the playoffs. Reich would bring out too much of his best
  17. Well, as I stated before, I won't lose any sleep if they move Jones. I wouldn't mind if they kept Williams but he hasn't had much time with the 1s. One thing's for sure tho, him and Barkley have a pretty good chemistry. So if Allen goes down, it's quite possible the passing game gets better with the Barkley Williams duo
  18. Ok, it was already said Clowney wanted no part of the phins, so is it supposed to be more enticing for him after saying everyone is tradeable?
  19. I thought Clowney wanted nothing to do with the Phins
  20. Christ, the refs have thrown more flags than all QBs have thrown passes, and it’s just preseason FFS!!!
  21. Gotta give it to Jackson there, that was a laser
  22. Sure, as long as all he does is hand it off to Wade
  23. Geez, how did the league office forget to tell these teams that challenging PI was for egregious PI?
