Will offense operate better with Barkley next week?
buffalo2218 replied to GG's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I did answer it, you tried to turn it in to something it's not. Don't talk to me about half wit since your IQ is apparently in the single digits. You completely ignore what I said and put your own spin on it. SPECIFICALLY, I said when Allen is cleared, then yes, he should be starting. Fake fan? I'm a fan of this team, while you're just a fan of Allen the way you go on about him making pathetic excuses about this or that. Whether you like it or not, Allen played bad yesterday, nothing you can say to that. You're starting to remind me of that moron from jetnation named SAR1. You 2 should hook up and maybe between the both of you, you might have 1/4 of a brain. -
Did Jonathan Jones purposely take out Josh Allen?

Sliding wasn’t an option with a guy behind him pulling him down, had that not been the case you’d have a point -

Only if Allen can’t go on Sunday. Barkley does do some things better than Allen, but not enough to warrant starting. I can support our backup while being objective. People writing him off are the ones being premature -
Not quite as Haus money this year?

Which should have been a penalty. The Bills were flagged for that in a preseason game against Carolina -
Penalty would have given the Bills a 15 yard penalty and an automatic first down. That really could have helped for a win at that point

I listened to that earlier tonite on youtube. And yeah, he sounds quite pissed. Hopefully, it motivates the whole team next weekend

If I didn't come out and say it, then I didn't say it then did I? Forget your assumptions, I could really care less. One guy tried that on me and I made him look like a bigger fool than he already is. And after today and last week, Allen showed anything but being smart with his decision making. I don't know what Barkley will bring to the table, but I do believe he can read the field better. Give him practice and see what happens. When Allen is cleared, put him back in starting. That clear enough for you? -
Can Sean become a great game-day coach?
buffalo2218 replied to Stallions's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Happens to a lot of young head coaches. I can understand his frustration, but from what's been said here in the gameday thread, there were some penalties "given" to the Pats. Officials are getting far too much protection from justified criticism. I get that blown calls are gonna happen, but it just seems that more happen against the Bills at home for whatever reason. And that I imagine is even more frustrating when the offense isn't playing to their abilities -

What was there to watch that didn't show Allen making bad decisions? Also, show me where I said Barkley should start over Allen. Don't be like Boca Bills and put words in my mouth, FOR REAL DUDE!!!! -

It may not matter if people think it won't benefit him or not. If this hero ball crap keeps on happening, he will ride the pine. 4 picks from doing that -
I really shouldn't put the Titans down that much, but living in Tennessee, I've seen quite a bit of them. That debacle in Jacksonville stands out more than anything. Mariota is as prone to mistakes as Allen is. If we can exploit that just a little bit and have this defense ball out like they did against the Pats, the Bills could absolutely embarrass the Titans on their own field. Barkley protects the ball better than Allen, but at this point who doesn't? Something's gotta give with his decision making
-
I'm really not getting this. Ok the only thing we have to go on Barkley is the Jets game, he played good. Everything before that I could care less about. He's been successful in this offense. This defense took Brady to the woodshed and now I'm supposed to worry about Marcus Mariota? We've shut down guys like Le'Veon Bell and Saquon Barkley, and there's no reason why we can't shut down Henry. Titans' defense is decent, but nowhere near the level of the Pats. We can move the ball against them, even with Barkley.

At this point, smarts may be exactly what's needed with a defense like ours. If Allen had been smarter, we'd have won today -

Whoever is starting, for the love of god, get Knox more involved. If Williams gets called up and practices this week, Barkley may play better than a lot of people think -

I won't go as far as to say he will right now. I wanted to blame the coaches for lack of preparation, but after watching the highlights, Allen isn't playing smart at all. So many times he could have had decent gains instead of throwing deep. He needs to do what the coaches want him to do, take what he's given. -

With this defense that took Brady to the woodshed, that's pretty much all we have to do is protect the football. I believe Barkley is capable of putting up points -
Props for the classy and non-ribbing post.

Again, you post this after I specifically tell you "YOU'RE GONNA SEE THOSE THINGS FROM A YOUNG QB". They're called growing pains for a reason. No reason Allen can't learn from his mistakes, that's all up to him. I'm not gonna ignorantly say because of those stats, he's a bust. My god, get on the booze and ridlin while you can, because when the Pats lose Brady, believe me, you're gonna be cellar dwellers every bit as long as we've been. Wentz and Goff got time, why can't Allen?
