  1. Congratulations again to Week 15's winner @Drew21PA! This week, the Bills make the roady to Sahn Diahg....errrr....Los Angeles to take on the WVs, who are in complete disarray. Herbert out, Staley and the GM GAN, lame duck interim coaches, Easton Stick (THE Easton Stick!) as starting QB, etc. So trap game for the Bills? Or a beatdown that will make the Dallas game look tame? I'm going with the latter. Cook gonna run wild, and Stef, Gabe, Knox, and Kincaid get right with big games. This one is over at half time, as the WVs will not just run, but sprint for the bus. 2. I don't have to take that, you pig-eyed sack o' *****....
  3. Sorry you don't get it, it's an old story told many times about his first arrival in Buffalo. An allegedly drunken post (not mine) welcomed Isaac McKittrick to Buffalo, and a number of us rained down with War Games references. For those of us who enjoyed watching him play, and never bought into the "mental mistakes" angle, we get it. His good plays far outweighed his bad plays, but the haterz were always ready to pounce. Maybe he had worn out his welcome. But you can't for one minute say that his replacements are better, because they're not. Let me know when Shakir, Sharty, or Sherfield completely takes over a game like McKittrick did against Miami or the Cheats. Then maybe we can talk about how the replacements are better.
  4. McKittrick had a simple function, produce first downs, which he did, constantly. He had three rushing and 27 receiving last year, for a total of 30. I don't think Shakir is a good comparison, because he's at 16+ per reception, about 6 yards more per reception than McKittrick, so he's not being used the same way. But I'll give you Shakir and his 17 first downs. Add in Sharty with 8 and Sherfield with 2, and you have 27, same as McKittrick's receiving numbers. If you think it was OK to get rid of McKittrick and use three guys to replace his production, I can't help you. I still don't think Shakir is a good comparison or was supposed to replace McKittrick's production. But Sharty and Sherfield were definitely supposed to do that, and they've fallen far short, for about 4X what we would have paid McKittrick. People will say that it's only about $4M more, but when we're as cap strapped as we are, that $4M could have been better spent.
  5. They spent a lot of money on Sherfield and Sharty and got WAY less production than McKittrick.
  6. We've been unable to land a suitable sponsor to bankroll prizes, so until then:
  7. Both Key and Peele All-Stars, tough choice....
  8. My name is Suh, how do you duh?
  9. Was about to send out the Sherpas to come find you Virg. Welcome back! Agreed with you 100% on the Dodson UR call. Dak wasn't even in his slide when Dodson hit him, bad call by the Zebras.
  10. Wow, Iggles in a free fall. HOW DID WE LOSE TO THESE #######s????
  11. Troy Vincent, NFL Director of Player Safety is straight out of Kafka.
  12. Troy Vincent approved this message.
  13. LOL, this thread aged well.
  14. Your total difference of 14 points was quite a bit down the list. Margin of victory is an interesting idea, but if the final score was 14-7, wouldn't a prediction of 17-10 be better than 21-14? I think 17-10 is clearly a better prediction.
  15. Here's the rules. Calculate the difference between each team's score and the prediction, and add them together. 3 points are deducted for predicting a team's exact score, making the perfect score -6. If there is a tie, the tie-breaker is who picked closest to the Bills score. No "Price is Right" rules involved. Over-Under doesn't matter. It's the total difference for each team calculated separately. Your seven total was hanging in there a long time.
  16. Hence why the game was not as close as the score would indicate. We're in violent agreement.
  17. This^^^, no big time change. Bills leave Buffalo at 3AM, land, go to the stadium, kick some ass, fly home. Day trip.
  18. I got at least 4 drops, Cook, Stef, two on Reuben. 7-15, 94 yards? Cut that *****in' guy, we're going nowhere with him.
  19. This thread is not aging well. Two drops for Reuben tonight.
  20. It was a beatdown. A complete and total domination. The game was not even as close as the score would indicate. Next week, the interim coach of the Chargers may get fired after the game.
  21. If only my real stock picks were as good....
