  1. Both Buffalo and Green Bay did the right thing when they spent a fraction of the money to renovate their stadiums, rather than construct new ones. Buffalo and Erie County got a bargin price spendiung $78 million to basically re-create a 25-30 year old stadium was fantastic. It would cost $450-500 million to build a new one. Where would that money came from? The only weak part of the deal was the lease. When Ralph passes there is nothing to keep Buffalo in the area. That part should be re-done, making sure the Bills stay for at least the next 10 years, or have a buy-out in place that really makes it expensive to move the team. Otherwise, there is a good chance the Bills will be moved to a bigger market. Why would the Ralph need to be replaced?  It contains over 200 luxury suites.  It has high prices premium seats (in the two theaters), and a good number of club seats.  The restrooms were upgraded and the aisles are wider enough.  The capacity was downgraded making each seat more valuable  The practice and training facilities are considered among the leagues best.  There is ample parking around the stadium to generate extra funds.  The location near two highways is helpful and limits traffic problems (let's face it was 20,000 cars you're gonna have traffic issues). The only upgrade that didn't happen was the creation of a pedestrian tunnel under Abbott Road.
  2. why does anyone have to be blamed? The young QB made a mistake. The coaches made a mistake calling the play and but Tampa set it up through a great punt, and improving their own field position. Also, what is going on with Moorman? His punting stinks this year! He killed the team, losing valuable field position.
  3. After week #1, a third of the board we trying to figure out how to get Super Bowl tickets, and after week #2 another third of the board is trying to figure out whom we should select with our top 10 draft pick. Could we all get a grip and face some facts. #1 - Our defense is a little overrated. They are good but not as good as they think they are. #2 - JP Losman is going to struggle. He's started TWO games. #3 - If we can't run the ball, the offense will continue to struggle. #4 - Teams are going to blitz us to death. #5 - Making the playoffs if going to be difficult with a young QB. #6 - We lost a ROAD game, is that uncommon? #7 - Only two weeks have been played, and look around the league, everyone has up and downs. Atlanta beat Phily then got slammed on the road. NE lost, everyone in the AFC East is 1-1. Thankfully we don't play Pittsburgh this week! Stop having panic attack, move on, and we'll see what happens on Sunday.
  4. what worries me me the most about today, injuries to M. Williams and L. Fletcher. Hopefully neither are serious.
  5. Can't blame the D, did they make a play all game long? The loss was a team loss but no one made a play! No one. But if you don't expect Losman to have games like this, what young QB have you watched in the past. Big Ben doesn't count because that team can run the ball. The Bills don't appear to be a great running team. Much of what they gained last week was after the Texans defense was tired and worn down.
  6. Funny the game is over and we lost and didn't score a TD Maybe you'll give him some credit. I thought we'd lose and had the score 14-13. I gave us too much credit.
  7. “Mama said there’d be days like this, there’d be days like this mama said” If anyone was surprise by what happened today, I wonder how much of a football fan you are. A Monte Kippen defense confusing a QB, let alone, a young inexperienced QB. The defense made no big plays, could make 3rd down plays, were average on 1st down and couldn’t stop the run. By the time the 4th quarter came around the tank was empty. Grades: QB – D - Losman was terrible, credit Tampa’s defense RB – D – Willis, stop dancing, start running WR/TE – F - did do anything OL – C – really they held back much of the pass rush. DL – F – Made no plays all day LB – D - How many tackles did the miss? DB – D – Did nothing ST – D – kick return team was great, Moorman was bad, really bad.
  8. been down that road before. Never easy when a family members dies. And pets are definately members of the family in my house.
  9. Pizza Junction in NT
  10. The Dolphins can't contend this year so another loss for the J E T S, jets, jets, jets would help the Bills out. I'm thinking down the orad as much as I hate the fins. Plus I'd like to see Miami avoid the #1 pick!
  11. I also live in Fayetteville, and I am not worried at all. But I did get the day of tomorrow as a result.
  12. There are shows on TV? I thought all that was on was crappy not-so "reality" TV
  13. Time of Possession had to be a factor. The Bills had the ball for 22 minutes in the 1st half. Houston defense had to be worn down in the second half.
  14. Has Ray Lewis ever made a play in the NFL where he had to take on an o-linemen? Ever great play I ever see him make is when he has a clear shot at the tackle. To me is the single most OVER-RATED player in football. Yes, Ray Lewis is good, but he's not Dick Butkis or Mike Singletary for that matter.
  15. Hate to say it but it was Bledsoe's 2nd year in Buffalo and Lawer Milloy's first game.
  16. I know its one game but wow, wasn't it fun watching this kid play? he does look like the real deal. He made that one bonehead throw early in the 3rd, but it didn't hurt him.
  17. I just disliked the play calling in the early in the 4th quarter. Why are we running end arounds when we were blowing holes up front? We just killed one of our own drives. The coaches can't call stupid play at bad oppportunities. You can call that one 2nd a 3, but not on 1st and 10, after two straight 10+ yard gains.
  18. Too me the biggest factor is that Kyle Boller simply sucks! Honestly, is there a worse QB in football right now! How in hell was this guy the #8 overall pick? Billick is suppose to be an offensive genius yet his offensives alway suck! How can one be a genius and never have done anything?
  19. When will people learn that these types of movies ALWAYS suck? I don't think I have EVER spent one dime on crap movies like this!
  20. Samuel Adams I just don't get these Bud, Bud Light, Miller Lite, Coors, piss water drinkers. Beer should look like piss!
  21. I agree that this isn't fair but neither is the way the NFL works the bye weeks. There are teams in the league that face NO teams coming off a bye week and several face teams twice coming off the byes. The Bills always seem to face two, even three teams coming off the bye week. Now that's unfair. An entire division should have the same bye week with division game to follow that bye week. Every team would then play only one team coming off the bye. But why would the NFl do anything that seems fair?
  22. OMFG, you have got to be kidding me. There is only one team I hate more than the Cowboys and that's MIAMI. How could any Bills fan like the Cowboys, after Superbowls 27 and 28? Both Bledsoe and Price and drop dead and pick up season ending ACL injuries for all I care. They are the enemy now!
  23. anyone cut a good kicker?
  24. looks similar to the new stadium that just opened in Munich, Germany, which looks like a giant tire turned on its side. They can light it up and make it change colors. http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/d/s/munchen.html http://www.allianz-arena.de/de/home/index.php
  25. Isn't this whole thing just sad? We're talking about America and this entire story sounds like something that happens elsewhere. Most Americans believe we are better than everyone else. Are we sure?
