Why Ralph Wilson isn't in the Hall of Fame
KRT88 replied to Gambler's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I guess a guy basically responsible for keeping two different AFL franchises, that were not his own, buy helping them make payroll, and that league thus forced a merger and changed football forever is unimportant. If he doesn't derserve to be in the HOF then remove all the owners. -
The Bills just hired Mike Martz and they are already out of timeouts for the first 6 games for next year.
-
I believe Washington is spending more than $10 million on their coaching staff and other teams are near or above that figure. $7 million is around the lower limits if you really want good coaches. You can't keep hiring coaches on the cheap and expect great results.

Eric Mangini rumored to be top HC candidate...
KRT88 replied to haff20's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He can only talk to the Bills if NE is out of the playoffs, so how can anything be "scheduled?" -
I would not like that, it would represent a "cheap" hire. Ralph has to open up the wallet and budget at least $7 million for the coaches. $2 million for the HC $1.25 million for each of Coord. and another $2.5 million minimum for the rest of the staff with bonus money in the contracts if the team makes the playoffs. If not forget it, getting good coaches will be too difficult. 1. Mike Shermon 2. Jim Fassel after that, as long as they have coached in the NFL before as a HC.
-
are you telling me you wouldn't want to keep April? We had one of the best special teams in the business and why would any new coach want to mess with that? That would save him one smallish headache.

Its official Gary Kubiak new texans HC.
KRT88 replied to Sanjosebillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How can it be official that GK is new Texans coach when he can't agree until after his team is out of the playoffs? -
correct me if I'm wrong but some great coaches do get fired the first time around. Marv was fired with KC There is some guy coaching NE who got fired with Cleveland sometimes coaches learn what they did wrong the first time and they get it right the second. The last two clowns we have had brought zero experience adn that didn't work all too well. I'm all for getting a re-hire, especially someone like Mike Sherman.

JIMMY JOHNSON.... And we will have a winner!
KRT88 replied to NavyBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jimmy Johnson ain't leaving the Florida Keys for Buffalo. 10% ownership and 10 million a year could convince him to leave. Why give up shorts and t-shirt and fishing every day for depressing Buffalo? -
jesus christ, the fool better not ever try coaching in NYC or Chicago. Buffalo media is nothing compared to those places. what a whimp!

WHO DO PEOPLE WANT AS "OUR" HEAD COACH
KRT88 replied to Gardinier's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I want someone who has been their before, and Fassel would be my first choice. However, Capers, Haslett, Shermen, Dick Jeuron would provide me a comfort feeling too. -
I really liked Ochs coming ot of Montana. He's not the biggest but he was a player, had a history of injuries in college though.
-
I agree. Young does not look like an NFl QB to me. No matter how good a runner ou are in college, rpofessional defenses just do not allow you to run around like that. Vick doesn't run wild, and NFL linemen are much faster than college line. I also do not like his throwing ability. Yes he us sccurate on short throws but I do not recall see him throw many 15 / 20 yard outs. Many of his completions were dump off passes. He is a fantastic athlete but I am not sokd on him being a good NFL QB.

Bucs NE (closer then most people think) NYG Pitts I could see all of these games going either way.

USC 33 Texas 24 I'd love to see Texas win but I can't see it happening!

This shows someone who had way too much time on his hands. First off, you have no idea of the draft order Second, you don't know which juniors will declare Third, you have no idea who will actually end up as a free agent so basically you completed wasted your time, however, it is your time. I would suggest and it is a suggestion, you find more constructive things to do with your free time because you gain zippo from this!

Is there anyone who still wants MM as coach?
KRT88 replied to C.Biscuit97's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Ronnie Harnon drop was in a wildcard game and it is doubtful in 1989 (when the Bills were 9-7) that we would have gone to the SuperBowl that year. Denver was 12-4 and why would anyone have wanted to play the 49ers that year is beyond me. I doubt the Bills would have much better than Denver's 56-10 loss. -

KRT88 replied to C.Biscuit97's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I still can not understand how he let it all get away from him so fast. However, once you lose your veterans the game is over. He has to go! -
I do not care who it is as long as they have had some experience. We can not keep hiring these never have coached before foosl that lose their minds once they get the damn job! TD really scred up when he passed over Marvin Lewis, John Fox, Charlie Weiss, all have been 5000% better than the two idiots he has hired. My opinion of MM had drop 100% in the past two week and now I am on the fire TD and MM bandwagon. Can't we steal Herm Edwards away from the Jets? That guy is my favorite because I do not feel like he BS you! Though I'd settle for anyone right now that was hired by double talking TD.

The next owner of the Buffalo Bills will be...
KRT88 replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know you're joking but if you're not, the NFL wouldn't allow a casino association with an NFL team. Tampa's owner, Malcom Grazier bought Manchester United (soccer team in England) but he had to dump a casino deal with that club because the NFL would have threaten his ownership in Tampa. -

KRT88 replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I said other but I have no idea whom. The team will likely cost the new owner between $500 and $600 million to buy, which is chep as NFL teams goe. Maybe it will be slightly lower but doubtful espically if the new owner isn't willing to sign a tougher lease agreement. It will likely be someone outside of WNY that buys the team and hopefully they are willing to try to keep them in town. Otherwise, LA here comes the Bills. -
Worst critical situation coaching I've seen
KRT88 replied to nodnarb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Please explain to why up 23-3 you are passing on 1st on goal from the 4? Run the ball, take the TD if you can get it, but at the very least kick a FG and put yourself up 4 scores! Whomever called that play should be shot and Losman can not throw that ball and give the opponent any ray of hope! -
