Rolling Stones at the Ralph concert thread
KRT88 replied to Hammered a Lot's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Great another geriatric tour. Hey Neil Diamond is playing Buffalo too! Maybe they can dug up the Greatful Dead even though Garcia is dead, why not put em on tour! -
that's what I was gonna say, it should definitely be Aaron Rogers!

I actually met OJ at training camp once but I was too young to truly remembering him playing. Watch the film he ran type same way Eric Dickerson ran. So effortlessly with that rare combination of power and speed. All that after football crap mmakes you forget what a great player he truly was.

Should we draft a developmental QB late round? If so who?
KRT88 replied to Bocephuz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I watched Shane Carden play a lot this year. I love the kids moxy, I'd take a flyer on him late. -
Who do you want the Bills to take 1st in draft?
KRT88 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd like to see either LB depth or OL depth -
WHY? maybe we can get Rob Johnson to come back while we are at it.

Best team in the NFL if you take out the QB position
KRT88 replied to Webster Guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's kind of like you are asking, who's the best looking women in the world if we cut off the head. I would argue that it is impossible to judge the best with a critical component, especially that component. The hottest women can be dumb as a box of rocks, a mean hearted B and still get lots of dates. Tom Brady has average talent around him and clearly not the roster and wins a Super Bowl. Therefore, the best talent minus the QB is completely irrelevant. It's almost like Bills fans need something to grab a hold of, so we want to declare that outside of the QB position, we have one of the best roster. Great and next year if we don't find a way to win 10/11 games and finally make the playoffs, what difference did it make. -
The Offensive Line: Better Than Advertised?

Super insightful post. Filled with great detail -
Do the moves by the Bills in free agency make sense so far?
KRT88 replied to jahnyc's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The team still should address the TE position. A veteran guard or tackle would help as well. I have to believe that Cyrus Kouandjio, whom we have read about, is going to work his tail off to give himself a chance to play next season. Though I'm not willing to count on him, he should be a guy who provides depth on the O-line. Cyril Richardson is basically the same, though at least he showed he can play a little. Work on his technique and I think he can also provide depth. Nevertheless, the OL is the teams weakest spot. The Offense has play makers everywhere now, with Harvin, Watkins, and McCoy. The QB position is below average but if Cassels is decent we'll be OK. Personally I think EJ is just as good but Tom Brady isn't walking through the door any time soon. There are first down getters with Woods, Hogan, Gragg. Looks like we have some power in there with Dixon and Felton. Lots of versatility with McCoy, Harvin and Jackson. Wish we had a 6-5 WR and a 6-8 TE. The Defense is loaded and should give the team a chance to win most weeks. Lastly we cannot forget we resigned are full time kickoff guy, nothing is better than that move. -
What would it take to get Drew Brees...Trade rumor to Bucs..
KRT88 replied to GoBills!'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
seriously, do we really want to trade valuable asetts for a 36 year old guy who is owed something like 54M over the next two years? Where would that leave us in two years? Would he even fit into the plans the coaching staff is working under? I just don't see the value here. Sure if NO released Brees, make a pitch, but to trade something for that player, with his current contract. I don't see it. -
Is this finally the end of the Patriots dominance?
KRT88 replied to Bubba Gump's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's all that needs to be said. Tom Brady = Pats as team to beat -
Miami would have 7 days to match any offer, therefore, how could he be a bill 2 hours after free agency began?

Fred Jackson cut??(UPDATE: Pegula says Hell To The No)
KRT88 replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fred has shown this organization nothing but class. Don't cut him, give him his final season! Come on Buffalo, this one doesn't effect the salary cap -
SO WHAT 2 reasons for this attitude: 1. the guy is a turnover machine 2. Has anyone heard of the salary cap. The guys cap figure is 15/16M You want to resign Dareus, Gilmore, etc, down the road, become a major challenge with that cap figure

Miami leading candidate for Suh- update:signing with fish
KRT88 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Miami, Tampa, Dallas, Houston and Seattle all have advantages in free agency because their state does not charge income tax. If Suh signs a 100M deal he'll keep a nice extra chunk if he signs in Miami. -
what is truly funny is that people will complain no matter what we did. Personally, not sure I understand the salary cap part of what they did, plus not sure Shaddy fits into the "ground and pound" idea that has been promoted. However the Bills just flipped a LB who was out injured all year last season for one of the most dynamic players in the league. Then they followed it up by getting a QB who has proven he has move a team, not turn the ball over and hopefully help us win. Is Cassels the next Tom Brady? Nope but exactly how do we find that guy? The team hasn't figured that out for 15 years.
-
Priceless....NO, it's so sad that people can not express themselves with cursing every other word. This guy is pathetic, plain and simple. Do I under the frustration, yes, do I understand dropping the occupational f-bomb, certainly but in the first 30 second, the guy dropped like 20 of them.
-
So tough, but is Shady really better than CJ and at the salary cap cost. I think we could have found a replacement cheaper and kept the great young linebacker. And even worse if McCoy doesn't want to stay in Buffalo. It's real close though

Bills to trade Kiko Alonso for LeSean McCoy

OK, didn't see this coming. I thought it was a joke when I first saw it. Don't like the move -
Free Agency Countdown - What Will Whaley Do?
KRT88 replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think they will make a trade for Aaron Rogers Yep, it'll be Aaron Rogers -
So you want the Bills to trade 3 draft picks and their best DL for a 36 year old QB. And in two years, then what? Come on people! Plus who would be NO's QB? Why would a team trade their QB if they don't have another one waiting. GB figured Rogers was ready so they let Farve go. Young was ready so Montana was shipped Bledsoe was traded because Brady helped the team win the Super Bowl Brees moved on because the team had traded for the #4 pick Rivers, plus Brees had a serious shoulder injury Exactly why who has that guy they can say, he's ready and we don't need the current guy?

Yep Jack Eickel will fit right into Buffalo culture to drinking too much and then hitting the internet.
