  1. I was playing poker last night with a huge Falcons fan and he said he'd love to see Ryan shipped out. I thought h was joking but apparently, Falcon fans think he is a turtle in big games. However, his college OC, Steve Logan, simply raves about the guy every week on the 99.9 The fan down here in Raleigh, NC area. I seriously doubt he'd be put on the market.
  2. Foles - I could live with that Locker - no way Glennon - like the skills but not sure, possibility but is he an upgrade Smith/Hoyer/Bradford - hell no Austin - not enough experience Cutler - cap hit would destroy any hope at keep Hughes in Buffalo and that defense in tack.
  3. I saw that yesterday. First off the free safety is already reacting to Orton throwing the ball, but he still had three receivers open and he went after the guy double coveraged. If he could pump fake there, he has a touchdown deep over the middle or he's going to get sacked, which seems more likely. I bet you can find 2 or 3 of these every game from most QB. But it's especially painful knowing how the game turned out.
  4. he lost the game for us really, what game were you watching? 1. Playing calling was as awful as ever 2. Defense really was limited when Dareus went out. 3. Did you see the o-line? That right side is terrible. Without Orton this was was 6-10 this season. Orton may not be the answer but he's certainly not the main problem.
  5. really, you punt because the defense has been your stud all year. Marrone expected them to get the ball back. I personally have zero issues with that call. I hated the 3rd and one play call!
  6. The 3rd and 1 play call didn't make sense. Hogan was running lateral to the line, even if he catches the ball, his momentum is carrying him close to the sidelines and he might not get the 1st down. I've got an idea, run the damn ball using a linemen as a fullback and Dixon massive body.
  7. At the end of the day, you can't go 4-7 within your own conference and expect anything. The Bills may have beat up on the NFC but we got beat in those critical conference games, when it counted. The vaunted defense was great most of the year but in the moment of need, 3rd and 22, they failed and then fell apart after that. I don't want to hear that Marrone punted, really, we aren't support to trust the defense that kept us in most games this year? The bottom line is simple, the play calling is terrible, the o-line isn't good enough and our QB doesn't make enough plays. Off season plan: 1. Resign the key defensive parts 2. Let CJ walk 3. Focus on the O-line, it has to fixed. 4. Work on situation play calling
  8. well Houston and Pittsburgh winning certainly helps. Still can't believe the Chargers came back. LET'S GO BUFFALO win and give yourself a chance
  9. I agree 100%. The Bills should be giving this guy a contract extension. We are now relevant. He deserves credit for getting the most out of this team with limited quarterbacking play. The playoffs are possible but too bad we didn't capture one of four critical games (KC, SD, Houston, or Miami). Furthermore, 6 head coaches this century isn't enough for Buffalo fans. It seems like most want to fire another one because as you all know, successful teams change coaches every other year in the NFL....oh wait that's soccer.
  10. and what give up 1/2 of the defensive line for it. Only so much salary cap room and he'll chew up 15% of it. We need to try to resign Porter and Darius. Can't afford Culter and he's a turnover machine in case you haven't noticed.
  11. In my lifetime, born in 1969, the Steelers have had three head coaches. In the 21st century we have had what 6! Firing Marone and starting again IS NOT the answer. Even considering this is nothing short of stupid. Now of Marone decided to change the OC, I wouldn't be unhappy but I doubt he's going to do that. I am pretty sure we would all like to see some changes to the play calling, and I still am completely dumbfounded as to why we don't have creative offensive groupings say CJ and FJ on field together (when they were healthy). Or at least better route combination would be helpful but perhaps he'll improve with time. He was like 12 years old when we hired him.
  12. The QB should be: 1. Kyle Orton 2. EJ Manuel 3. draft a guy in 4th or 5th round and work on development If we dump EJ the way this organization treated him, not getting him a veteran to work with his rookie year then it shows our current GM and coach have no clue. Manuel has tools, his problem is timing. He see the read but doesn't trust his eyes yet and ends up late or unwilling to make the throw. In other words, the game is still moving too fast. The belief that rookies should play right away and immediately become stars is idiotic. EJ should have sat and learned behind a veteran last year. Instead he did so this year. At some point Orton is going to get hurt, then we will find out if EJ has developed at all.
  13. If this team is going to spend money, I agree here. These guys make the other 7 on the field better. This is where money needs to be spent. These four means you can be competitive even without an elite QB. Now if we could ever find the QB, then we would have championship opportunities.
  14. I'm totally serious, I'm sure GB is totally sick of that Aaron Rogers guy. Did you see him Sunday, he was terrible. I'm positive a 3rd rounder is complete over payment but we have to give to get. Maybe we can even get them to throw in a 6th or 7th round pick too. people just don't get it
  15. I tend to agree with this over most of the rest of the crap posted here. Flacco isn't get cut, Newton, please, Brees, stop it. The original plan for EJ was for him to sit behind Kevin Kolb and learn. Kolb's injury screwed that up, so we threw him to the wolves. Perhaps a full off season would help him so we continued wioth that flawed plan. At least the brass at One Bills Drive saw the problem and signed a veteran to help him. The kid has all the skills in the world, we just need to get his timing down and see if we can teach him to trust his reads. He's going to be back in 2015 and with Orton's lack of mobility, it is only time before he gets another chance to play. Then we can see if he has made any progress. The new QB doesn't arrive until 2016 at the earliest.
  16. Im positive we will be trading for Aaron Rogers. I'm thinking we can trade at least a 3rd round pick and get him. If that doesn't work out Andrew Luck will certainly be the guy next year.
  17. I live in NC and there are zero chances the Panthers are getting rid of Riveria. Everyone knew the Panthers were in salary cap jail this season.
  18. Are you even allowed to hit a QB anymore? Troy Aikmen was upset with what appeared to be a great hit on the QB. The SF player drove his face mask into Wilson's chest. The official called it as roughing the passer call, hit to the chest. Maybe he sad the guy dropped his head but no way that happened. Three plays later Seattle scores a TD and that play would have forced a FG. Horrible call. This league has become a joke for defenders.
  19. As far as I can see: 1. Bills have to win out 2. SD and KC must lose a game 3. Either Pittsburgh or Baltimore must lose I think that's correct as we lost heads up to both SD and KC and those 6 conference losses are killers with Baltimore and Pittsburgh for tiebreakers.
  20. This is without a doubt, the stupidest poll question ever. What like the Bills defense has knocked 8 QB out if the lineup this season? When did that happen. 4 weeks left in the year and Manning should sit for safety.
  21. $109,574 and counting Buffalo steps up yet again
  22. How do we know the money is going to Darryl Talley? That would be my concern.
  23. It is a sad story. Imagine if every Bills fan at the game Sunday gave his family $1. He'd be ok for a while know WNY is where he needs to be. I hope the Pegula's reach out to him.
  24. you add a retractable roof and you add 200-250 million to the coast of a stadium. Ford filed is great but do we want to become what Minnesota became? A team that loses it's northern edge? Personally, if you can make a stadium that can host other events, final four, big conventions, concerts, super bowl (dare I say), etc then I'm all for it. The building needs to be flexible and in use 20-30 days a year outside of football. too much money for 10 calendar dates of usage.
  25. trade for Maziel - please make it stop good luck getting Indy to make that trade
