That's all well and good, 43M in cap sounds nice but let's think for a second Gilmour has to be signed long term, he's gonna demand at least 15M per. Cordy Glenn has to locked up long term, he's cap figure will likely be north of 10M 12M seems more likely. and TT having to wait an additional year to get paid isn't gonna take a discount. If he's as good as this year, 18M per seems likely but let's say he actually gets better and the Bills make the playoffs (I know dreams rarely work fo r Buffalo) we are then looking at a 20+M cap hit.W where'd all the cap space go? and that's just three guys

How would you feel if the Bills traded up for Paxton Lynch?
KRT88 replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would not like that idea one bit This team has other needs. TT is the QB and we need to surround him with talent on either side of the ball. Players who can come in and play now. Not a QB to groom. Pick a QB in round 3-4 -
Would you re-sign Harvin to $3m incentive laden contract?
KRT88 replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nope, It would have to be the league minimum plus big incentives. I'm not wasting 3M on a guy who is hurt all the time and doesn't know if he wants to play. Well Hogan doesn't have to since NE is paying him $5M this year, -
For those who want a new stadium... Test Run
KRT88 replied to Hammered a Lot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If the main lots charge $50, then if I charge $40 in my lots, I'll make more. No way I'm charging $20 when people have to pay more. Simple economics. Have a price a little lower than the competitor and win. -
The new PAT placement: good or bad?

it's good for the game -
No progress toward TT extension per Carucci; agent unhappy
KRT88 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How do they extend him right now, they don't have any cap room? The guy has got to want at least 14M average (that's gotta be the very low end)and there's no way we have that cap room without several massive contracts being restructured. Is the agent stupid? How do you benefit complaining to the media? Everyone understand the situation. the player wants to get paid, the team want to see more. The media aspect isn't going to make thing get better. If the agent is smart, ask for something that includes a No Franchise Tag clause. -
yep, don't make this suggestion again! The timing of the game is just fine.

Pats wheeling and dealing, trade for Martellus Bennet
KRT88 replied to FireChan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
great weapons for Brady and they improved their O-line! Yeah, they figure out a way to stay under the cap and make the playoffs every year and we can't figure out how to even be a threat. -
For myself, I'd say two unsportsmanlike conduct fouls not personal fouls. It's too easy to accidentally a QB in the helmet or grab a face mask.

The overall lack of QB talent is killing the NFL
KRT88 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
it was too expensive because some idiot decided it was to be done in Europe. Use existing facilities and find a way to keep costs down. Use cities that are fairly close to one another. Use bus travel as often as possible. -
The overall lack of QB talent is killing the NFL
KRT88 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
NFL should pony up the money and start a developmental league! Partner up an AFC team with an NFC team, each team must supply 23 players for the roster and start a 16 team league. 4 divisions of 4 teams, play own division 2x, and one other division each year = 10 game schedule. Spring, early summer, whenever you want to run the league. Pick smaller cities in the USA and develop some players. -
wow tough call: 1. Andre as a 4th round pick is great value considering he was a HOFer. 2. Thurman was also great value as a 2nd rounder who made the HOF. 3. and even though he was picked at #1 overall, #78 has to be considered because again he was a HOFer

In your opinion, what decade was NFL football at its best?
KRT88 replied to dpberr's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
At its best, well the 80's are out because of all the labor trouble. The 90's were great for the Bills. But id say the mid 1995-2005. You had enough good to great QB and almost 1/2 the teams in the league made the Super Bowl in that span. -
Bills "frustrated" with Incognito contract demands*SIGNED*
KRT88 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So what are the demands? 4 years 22 million with 15M guaranteed? I'd offer 3 years, 17M with at least 12 guaranteed. that 5.67 average - signing bonus: 6M year 1 - 1.5M year 2 - 2.5M year 3 - 5.0M roster bonus: 2M 1st two year are guaranteed -
Will the Bills make the playoffs this year?
KRT88 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This post makes it sounds like 2nd is OK. This shouldn't be the goal but I guess it's OK if we make the playoffs. Nevertheless, the goal should be to win the division. And the jets are gonna get better not worse. -
Will the Bills make the playoffs this year?
KRT88 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There is NO reason to believe this team will be any different than all the previous sad versions. 7-9 to 9-7 is their limit. They always find ways to lose games they should win and they TURTLE huge in big games. If I approach the season in this manner than I cannot be disappointed. Hopefully I can be pleasantly surprised. -
Teams should get a cap break for re-signing their own
KRT88 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just find it strange that someone suggests this in a year the Bills have cap concerns. Never read anything like this here before. The simplest solution, fund a way to make the cap work for your team. And winning would be nice too. -
Coach Sal speculating Incognito about to sign a 2-year deal

that's idiotic, he played for the St. Louis Rams. -
Super Bowl 50: Broncos vs. Panthers
KRT88 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think this is going to be closer than most but Carolina's offense is so much better than Denver and the Panthers have a hell of a defense too. Panthers 24 Broncos 16 -
I'm so sick of reading crap like this. Look at the numbers. TT was the best Bills QB we have seen in a decade. This was ONLY the first year the guy has ever really played. You don't see how he's going to get better. 14 games under his belt with a winning record, great TD to inception ratio, duel threat, and high completion percentages. The Bills failed to reach for the playoff for lots of reason but TT wasn't near the top of that list. EJ falling apart vs Jacksonville Couldn't stop the run vs the Giants poor game plan vs NE the first time around I personally want to see this guy develop some. I not saying let give him a $100M contract, I don't how good you are, no one should get that kind of money but the market is what it is. Nevertheless, I'd be willing to bridge the guy, 2 years 10/12 million. Now drafting a QB in round 2 or 3 makes sense, because I just don't see how EJ can continue to be the backup but no way should we waste a 1st round pick when we have holes everywhere. This team needs DE, LC, DB, TE and OL help.

Stage IV is not good. Wishing him the best but fearing the worst. I don't think this ends well. Cancer sucks!

A treatise on the home team most likely to lose is:

Carolina because they are playing the best of the four road teams. -
If Chad Kelly declares... (Update - returning to Ole Miss)
KRT88 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We're gonna draft him because his name is Kelly? I'll take another year withTT and we can sign a veteran backup and draft someone. I don't care what his name is. -
Lets bring back the Legend of Kiko

Should NFL eliminate "meaningless games"?
KRT88 replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow, the revenue you'd cost teams! Plus it would be competitively unfair. Bills get a bye to prepare for Jets! That Jet game is meaningful. What if Jacksonville played Cleveland then Tennessee and the Houston? They get two consecutive bye weeks to be forced to play week 17. What about player salary for these new bye weeks? Players get paid but no game revenue?
