  1. Don’t know if it’s bold, but I could see the Bills going for a Devonta Freeman type pick for player deal. Get a known quantity at RB.
  2. This defense will suffer immensely if Poyer doesn’t play next year.
  3. We’re just gonna draft one of those blue chip WR’s in the 5th round man. Exactly. You don’t have to tank and gut a roster because you’re drafting a QB. Giving him some reliable targets and consistency is worth more than 1 year of cap space. On the other hand, if you wanna watch your rookie QB run around in circles and get sacked 50 times, trade everybody and get him a Zay Jones and Kelvin Benjamin.
  4. Bills fans point at the Rams as a cautionary tale about “going all in” when the McVay has won 8 more games than McD since being hired, they have won multiple playoff games, including the conference chanpionship, and had a FAR better offense than the Bills did last year, all because the Rams lost ONE more game than the Bills did in 2019 in a division with 2 other playoff contenders, compared to us beating up on the Jets and Dolphins. That’s silly.
  5. The Rams have had more playoff wins in one season than the Bills have since 1993. Imagine throwing stones from this glass house
  6. Ah yes, Eifert the reliable weapon. 37 starts in 7 years. Certainly will be a dependable target for Burrow over 16 games next year. Lol
  7. Oh he’ll get drafted, no doubt about that. Just a matter of if he’ll be good at the next level. I’m betting no.
  8. Not sure they are too small but Star definitely isn’t good enough.
  9. Justin Hunter Jr. He’s gonna run a 4.6 which is why he isn’t running.
  10. Levi Wallace is a decent DB, he just gets picked on because Tre is on the other boundary.
  11. A blue chip prospect with a 2nd round pick? Hell, why are we so concerned about getting a good WR at 22 if there are blue chips in the second? What’s your definition of a blue chip prospect? A guy who is going to be drafted? Tyler Boyd and John Ross aren’t AJ Green, but you knew that already. Jordan Matthews had about 1000 yards too, once upon a time.
  12. Yeah, the Bills certainly looked like geniuses with multiple lotto tickets spent on Zay, Ray Ray, and Austin Proehl instead of using one taking JuJu or Kupp. 5/6/7 round picks almost never pan out. That’s why guys like Brady and AB were treated like miracles. They were. In two years, you will see DE’s approaching 30M I think.
  13. Uh, most teams in the NFL don’t let all their quality recievers walk out the door when they bring in a young QB who needs to learn. You must have LOVED the Jordan Matthews Andre Holmes era for Josh. See above.
  14. You must not have seen what the median household income in the US is.
  15. Someone better tell Derrick Henry, Mark Ingram and Melvin Gordon to retire because they had good OL’s in college.
  16. I'd imagine it'd be faster to google this than make a topic.
  17. Oh I was talking about moving up. Trading back into the first is a mistake unless there's a first round talent at a position of need that we didn't already take at 22.
  18. Trading next year's first is always a gamble. It's not ideal. There's better deals. But the Falcons wouldn't have gotten Julio without gambling.
  19. It was a fine move. It didn't work out, but it was fine. In a "deep class" like the 2014 draft, 12 WRs went in the 1st and 2nd round. 7 of them have not made a Pro Bowl. 10 of them are not on the teams that drafted them. 3 of them are out of the league. Even deep classes are still crap shoots.
  20. You're right. There is uncertainty and parity in the NFL, and every year, 27 teams suit up without a top 5 first round pick that year. You are falling into the "omg cap space" argument for draft picks. There are always more draft picks bro. Always. You lose one on a bust QB and you still get one next year. You lose one on a trade up for a WR and you still get one next year. The only uncertainty is if there's going to be a first round talent, BPA, at a position of need next year where'd you be picking. But bird in the hand and all that.
