Sean Payton not a fan of the Jets off-season

Bills backers clubs in Southern Connecticut and Canton Ohio

Do we have to tip you as the gas station attendant when we pay to fill up the tank? But, of course, your back is too sore so you can’t get out of the car… Will you serve as the restroom attendant as well? Are you going to steal candy then get paid for giving it away in the bathroom? (Those guys are creepy!) I respect the absolute absence of shame! You be you, sir! And maybe Christmas will bring you a new (to you) coffee pot! -

Next you will ask for a ride, or at least a bus ticket. We are onto you, sir! -
Our son played yesterday before a wedding with a friend of ours, the dad of his best high school friend. Patrick had an offer to go to Univ of Miami on a full golf ride (went military instead). My son is pretty good, but he was never on that level. I asked our son how the round went and he said his irons were spot on, but he was a mess off the tees. Everything went right and made life hard. On the 16th tee Pat says “WHOA, freeze right there!” Our son stops, Pat lays a driver in front of his feet, then tells him to back away and look where he’s aiming. RIGHT! He outdrove everyone the last three holes. We know the ultra competitive Pat too well, but at lunch I asked the question anyway. “Pat, why did you wait until 16 to point that out to him?” We got the answer expected when he says “well, I had to be sure I beat him first!” 😂

I honestly don’t know the details. I’d love a brief explanation from someone more knowledgeable, but I think the size of the contract he gets is important. .

…and eventually get us a comp pick. Just let him play!

I overheard my wife telling someone the same thing! 😋 This is true of everybody but a few Franchise QB’s. The trade price matters. Would we get a sufficiently lucrative deal to make it worth losing of a key part of the offense in a year where we have a legit shot at a Lombardi Trophy? I’d only trade him for what nobody will give us.

Can we please keep him on as GM? Pretty please???

This is fantastic news and warms my heart. Remember the really important stuff when you think you’re having a bad day.

But Belichick’s dog REALLY liked him!

Do they drive a green Pontiac?

Sitcom math tells me none of them could rise above 30 in PFF rankings, and Madden is even worse. 🤷♂️

At a Wedding in Ohio and the Shout song comes on and of course I had to...
Augie replied to Big Turk's topic in Off the Wall
I just got back from a wedding in GA. Close family friends. They will get SH!T for not playing the Shout Song, then I will get grief if they realize I didn't stay until the very end. I’m torn. 🤷♂️ -
Cool. It’s time for something new to happen. Who is better poised to step into the top echelon? I suggest the Bills may get their turn, because that is often how things go. There are some teams at the top, and they take turns visiting the pinnacle. But you, you seem to expect, or maybe even hope for, disappointing Bills fans.

…and seriously complicates your life. So there is that. Anything to discourage BS claims.

Oh my! How the worm has turned for this guy! To be fair, I don’t think Araiza’s life is ruined and his career is not over. BUT, I agree that he deserves some justice (though I’m confident financial gains are extremely unlikely) and if it helps to make a single person (accuser or attorney) think twice before this type of thing happens again, it’s worth it.

I feel his pain. My wife has made it clear I’d better keep my nose clean or I’LL be on the block! Always an option! 😋 . Yeah, there must be something I don’t know, because I don’t see how this could possibly be the optimal way of handling this.

I think the fact that he played an entire season last year without a single penalty tells us something impressive about him “from the neck up”. That, and he gave up ZERO sacks in 46 college games. I would be best to temper my expectations, but this is pretty exciting. A long way to go, but things look good so far! .

Maybe he got confused by the “sitcom” part of the math? I know I am. I’m told the truth is buried in here somewhere. NEWS FLASH: The universe is a very big place.

His dog, the Exec VP of all things draft related. Sometimes man’s best friend gets a bad hand.

I think Belichick the GM is making it darn near impossible for Belichick the HC to be successful. The guy is 71 years old and I don’t see him changing the structure of the organization. Something has to give, so why wait beyond this year.

I have a Bills buddy who lives in Boston and he’s been saying this for quite a while, sending occasional links. BB may or may not coach the Pats* in 2024, but it’s not an isolated thought.

He blocks. Sorry, pet peeve there. Literally gets thrown around literally WAY too much. 😋 He had 48 catches for 836 yards and 7 TD’s last year while dealing with a high ankle sprain. He missed some time and was hampered for quite a while. Yes, he came in slightly below the 50/900/8 numbers given, but I feel pretty good that if healthy he will hit those marks this year. Then somebody will pay him more than we want to pay, we will collect our comp pick and move on. Having players other teams want is a good problem to have. Not being able to pay them all is just reality.

Not really, but I’ll be thrilled to be there anyway. They will be on their second week there, after years of making it a routine. We have the better team, IMO, but we do NOT have home field advantage, so that makes it even tougher.

Is it worth more or less if it has a bit of vomit on it?
