That is simply awful. I've thought about what that would feel like, but I just can't get my mind around it.

I think you're imagining things. If my D had allowed that many points, and their D was just as suspect, I'd go for two, too! Throw in the probability that SD was still distracted by the fumble that wasn't, and the question becomes why wouldn't you go for the kill?

As long as we're successful I don't mind passing. You take what the defense gives you. Once defenses adjust to the potential pass, the run will open up.

Don't hate! He's right. The 49ers average 328 ypg and the Bills average 311.5. That puts the 49ers at 14th and the Bills at 16th in the league. The stat I really like: through 2 games, the Bills have allowed only 5 of 27 3rd down conversions (18%), behind only the Iggles and the Ravens, who both played only one game against a weak opponent.
