  1. Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! I don't think the rest of the league appreciated the way RW dismissed WP and JB. It has probably kept RW out of the HOF the last few years. Add the fact that TD and Bill Cower had a rough time and an arguement can be made that if TD had dismissed Gregg, the Bills reputation as an organization would have gone down the tank. Instead, Gregg's contract was not renewed. While I was calling for GW's head early in October, I think over the long term TD made the right choice.
  2. I have not trouble believing that. Failed HB Options inside the opponent's 30 yrd line aren't grenerally a good idea. What a waste.
  3. You know, I am just not that worried about the offense. We had two key injuries last year in Travis Henry and Eric Moulds. Even with last year's patch - work line we we able to move the ball in the first two games. I believe we were moving it against the Fish when TH was hurt. But there wasn't much depth at RB, and that force us to need better receivers than we had. Then Eric goes down and the receiver corps gets worse. This year, it seems to me the skill positions have more depth. Also, the first team patch - work line did a pretty good job against the Titans first team D. What I am worried about is the defense. There is a pretty good chance either Pat or Sam will go down. Without them, the defense is not the same. The same can be said for Fletcher, Spikes and Milloy. There is a huge dropoff in talent at those positions. If the defense plays at the level it did a year ago, this team is no worse than 10-6 and may be better than that. But that is a very big if...
  4. Well said. It seems that every mobile QBs go down hard at least once in his career. Somehow, in the future, I doubt a late hit will catch him off guard. Besides, could you imagine what it would be like if he went down in the first game of 2007 (or 2006)? That would be much worse for his career, and the Bills. Marv Levy had a policy about not playing rookies. Personally, I thought it was a good policy. They learn the game better. When they finally hit the field, they don't have think about the game because it is almost second nature. That makes them better as a player and reduces the risk of injury...
