  1. As someone who has relatives in Canada, most of the insults crossing the border are southbound. Of course, most Americans don't care enough to notice.
  2. Hey, everything's relative. It's certainly not the routine 7 sacks...
  3. I think either Fezmid or John from Hemet went over to Rudy's. Hopefully Rudy will be home from the hospital soon...
  4. Haven't we done enough trades for involving QB's already? The Bills seldom seem to do well trading QB's...
  5. Three child seats? Wow... The AWD Sienna might be an alternative to the Caravan, but I think they're the only two AWD minivans. Expedition? I've never been in one, but I love my F150. Hardy, how do you fit 3 car seats in an S4? Maybe an A6...
  6. After the 528, I suspect you'd be disappointed. I'd expect a 93-94-95ish Prelude would be just as fun and a lot more reliable. It seems the Mustangs grow on me. I hated the new style when it came out, but I really like them now... And those picks in in the link! Of course, given my name, I can't forget the Firechickens...
  7. That's why I suggested observing the class. I very well may be that something is happening that the teacher is oblivious about. If you have enough interest to take time off and spend it in a classroom, you'll accomplish two things. The teacher will give more attention to your son. You will also have a better idea whether or not your son is too sensitive.
  8. I think Prisco had them at 1, and ESPN had them at 2. While they are fun to talk about, they really are meaningless...
  9. To answer your question, yes, I am sick of this team losing. Now for my own question: after the first week last year, who did you think had a better chance to win the SB, the 1-0 Bills or the reeling 0-1 Pats? At least wait until week 4 to throw in the towel! B)
  10. Take a day off and make an appointment to observe the class. Whether or not she is willing to have you in will say a lot about her methods. My mother has taught 1-5th for about 30 years and has appreciated occasional parental help...
  11. I just bought an Audi A6 2.7T that I think is pretty cool! I once drove an 85 Vette, and nearly rear-ended the pick up I was passing...
  12. OK, who stole Rudy's password? That said, I agree with you. Even though the Jags were an easy win last year, I did see anything unfixable. There wasn't the nagging question of how come we aren't running the football when we're leading by more than two TDs. Nope, for the most part, it was conservative football, but it was coached to minimize mistakes in execution...
  13. Ugh. The older I get, the happier I am that women live longer than men. I hope things come out OK...
  14. The Colts' Offense remind me of the Levy's Bills' Offense, too. However, they are going to have a massive cap problem after this season with Harrison and James. I also don't see the Defensive parallels, but I do see you're point from the entertainment side.
  15. With 32 teams and the Salary Cap, I doubt we'll ever see the type of team the Bills were in the early 90s. They had excellent talent and above average coaching. It is above average talent and excellent coaching that wins championships. Buffalo has the above average talent. We'll see about the coaching, but early indicators look good!
  16. Given that the strength of the Jags D is against the run, I find that 36 Rushes and 26 Passes very encouraging. There was no "We'll take what they'll give us" retoric. They pounded it and held an 8 minute time of posession advantage. Another encouraging thing is the 7-14 3rd down conversions. While obviously I'd have preferred a win like the one last year against the Jags, I feel much more optimistic about the prospects for the rest of the season. Leftwich impresses me. He took a pounding that would have rattled many QBs, but the bad stats don't tell how resilient he was. The D let up a little before the half and again in the last drive, and he took advantage of both opportunities.
  17. I am hoping that they are keeping him under wraps for future division opponents... It may also be that the O-line isn't yet capable of holding their blocks for that long. A confident QB is better than a creamed QB. I just don't think TC, SW, and JMac set Drew up to get pummelled like that this early in the season.
  18. It was outside the division, but it was in conference. It's the type of game that would haunt us if we're in a wildcard race with Jax. That said, it seems that the killer instinct was lacking. Maybe this will wake a few people up... When the D gets the type of rest it does (i.e. the first half) there is no reason to take most of a series off as in the one that led to the first three points for Jax.
  19. I for one would like to thank you for what you do. Do me a favor and if you kill one of our enemies at close range, don't forget to bring some bacon grease with you...
  20. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: Never Forget.
  21. If there is any razzle dazzle, (personally I'd be a little disappointed if there was) I'd like to see a direct snap to either Henry or Willis (only if Travis can't hold on to it)... Oh no, I had a thought like FM, time to slit my wrists... Something like a 30 Dive would certainly set a tone I'd like to see.
  22. After last year's high expectations, I'm glad. I think this team is the best since Home run throw up, but I think I'd rather sneak up on people...
