  1. I believe Moose had a better copy last year... Maybe she still has it?
  2. I agree, they are going to have to spend money to go after the P2Ps that will spring up. I just doubt they will have any success at stopping it. One thing that this type of discussion does highlight is that TV could very easily go the way of the 8-track, VCR, and Record player in the next 10-20 years.
  3. That may be true. However, ultimately, I suspect that they may have about as much success as RIAA and the MPA. It's live P2P... Here is a quote from a dslreports discussion. The network doing the broadcast still gets to present their commercials. I don't see where the NFL would see it as anything other than more access to their product.
  4. Bledsoe playing in at least his 11th season at that point. There isn't much upside after your 11th year. Losman still has plenty of upside even if he sucks against the Ravens. That TD to Royal really sold me on JP. He's had the best game of his career at least 3 times in the last 5 weeks. This year was a success.
  5. If a player/coach could only vote for a player their team played against it would most certainly be fair. A fixed number of coaches per team, and a minimum of 8 games on the active roster would work quite well actually. It would also reduce the importance of a primetime game, which always go to a large market team first if two teams are of similar strength.
  6. Hard to picture how or why a team would score 29 points if the opponent has a goose egg hanging on their side of the scoreboard...
  7. All I know is I'm looking forward to seeing Lori's broom avatar... Playoffs or not, Buffalo ended Miami's hopes for a SB ring by sweeping them yesterday. I'm OK with that...
  8. Then I have a pretty good idea who it is... Corp, you really have made my day...
  9. I was at that game. Don't remember much from it other than the last minute...
  10. Couple other great moments- 1. September, 1980, Bills win, 17-7. It may be the only time the goalposts have come down after a season opener... 2. December 23, 1990, Bills demolish the same opponent as in #1 by counter treying them to death. Goalposts came down again... 3. August 1986, when Kelly arrived. 4. Double Hail Mary game against the Patsies in 1981... 5. Bills-49ers in San Fran, 1992, Kelly vs. Young. No Punts and two of the best offenses in the history of the game generate >1000 yards. Seems like the bad moments are easier to come up with... 1. Polian's resignation. Butler kept it going, but luck or close calls never seemed to go our way after Polian left. See the homerun throw-up. 2. The release of Thomas, Smith and Reed. 3. The comeback win against Carolina in 2001. That win cost us Peppers and stuck us with Williams. 4. Anytime Jim Jensen touched the ball. 5. Joe Cribbs being pulled to avoid a making bonus payment. 6. Jerry Butler breaking his leg.
  11. I was wondering if a last minute win might even date back to the days of Flutie...
  12. 2001 Buffalo vs. Jacksonville - Bills win 13-10 2001 Buffalo vs. Carolina - Bills win 25-24 and costing us Peppers... Wins against the Colts in 84, 85 and 86...
  13. Wasn't Buck the dog? I guess dogs are people, too.
  14. I started it and thought it was so depressing, and got busy doing other stuff. I started it again over the summer, am hooked.
  15. Check your email you gave to register. It looks like it it waiting for you to click on the link in the email...
  16. I imagine Boomer sees JP suckin while with Sam Wyche as just sucking period. I'd call it more a compliment to Sam for what Sam did for him...
  17. I guess my memory is a little fuzzy, too. BTW, I'm looking forward to the Broom avatar!
  18. But two wins does as long as they are both against the fish...
  19. I think Kelso was saying it was technically not a pass but a lateral, therefore PI was not applicable.
  20. Of course when Polian joined the competition committee with Shula the penalties seemed to even out. I'd have had him at number 1. PFS number 2.
  21. This just so sad. No silver lining. Just two dead people, ruined memories, and a lot of broken hearts. My heart goes out to the kids and to those who lost a friend.
