How many more drives a game do you think we could keep going if we had a back that could kill 3rd and 3 or 4? Drives that stall out where josh would have another 3+ chances to throw. Instead on 3rd and short we have our future half billion $ qb, getting smashed and not converting! We don't need a 30carry back but we need someone dependable to keep drives alive. That ravens game woulda been 30-3 if we could do that

Id rather admit that motor isn't the answer, take a guy thats going to permanently plug the hole. If they're confident in a guy, and it takes a 1st or 2nd rder, then so be it. At some point you stop buying car parts and upgrade the car. I think motors odd man out. Theres no way that our oline is so good at pass blocking, yet awful at run blocking. Something is wrong, and it need fixing. Voluntarily being completely 1dimensional is just asking for problems.

Was def thinking touches lol but yeah, id think a few slow developing run plays to use his vision would be ideal. Few counters, draws, and a few delayed routes where he sneaks into a soft spot of a zone after looking like he's in for pass protection. He's slowed down but I think he could help bring something to the table with these

While a legit run game would be amazing, I just don't think we have the tools. That said, I think some quick slants, wr bubbles, and some McKenzie end arounds keep defenses from blitzing all game. Hell vs balt, we used the pass to setup the run lol. Cbs and safeties keep moving back off the line and all the sudden we hit on a few draw plays lol its only crazy if it doesn't work. Daboll schemed well last week, and I expect him to be better this week with HC interviews off the table.

That really is an absurd stat. Glad i dont have to decide between him and Daryl Williams. Hope somehow, someway Beane can make both work... hell the chiefs paid everyone after their SB, so im optimistic

To be fair doing something like that is a much more anonymous acknowledgement, and if it got fan bases competing would be a much bigger contribution than any ONE GUY out there. If they added a fan base award I cant even imagine how many extra people might pitch in, just cause its a fun idea. I havent seen a dropoff. He may not physically be in his prime anymore, but hes equally as valuable as he was before, in a better defensive scheme. Unless he falls off a cliff rapidly, hes got atleast 2 good years left

Talk about some capital to move around in some drafts. Thats pretty lethal with Beane. If im Beane im loading up with an all black staff! Guess thats the idea of it, i bet that after a bit they end up reducing the compensation. Just for example this year, our two 3rd rders combine for ~250 points on the chart... while Jax #1 overall is listed at 3k points. Relatively, thats some MAJOR compensation!

I'm nervous, but I think alot of it is growing up after the SB eras, im used to this team hurting me If im honest with myself and took this out of context and it was regular season id be at atleast 75%. Alot of unique matchups. If we show up looking like a great team and lose, I'll be ok. But if we play like last week and get knocked out, im gunna be down in the dumps.
