  1. I want him to play whatever way is natural to him, rather than careful. Could this lead to an injury where he misses multiple games/ends his season, sure, but it could also lead to a bunch of big game changing plays like a few yesterday. He's a big boy, who should only get bigger once he totally fills out and can clearly take a hit. I love his fire, his heart, how incredibly competitive he is and it looks like he's having a blast. Reminds me of a mix between Kelly & Favre so far. After the running/diving/flying TD on the first drive, I bet no one thought that everyone, including the National Media, would be talking about a different Josh Allen run after the game. The sky's the limit with this kid, he's won over the team and fan base three games into his rookie season and only his second start. I wanted Buffalo to pass on him, I'll admit it, but I already love what he brings to the table and the way he plays the game.....to win > for the money.
  2. Allen reminds me of Kelly with his fiery attitude and physical toughness. Even though he seems extremely humble and nice, has a mean competitive streak in him. Much like Kelly, it's like having a Linebacker playing QB..........and playing it well.
  3. Yeah, the topic only had a couple tweets & articles, but I remember hearing quite a bit about this. Pretty sure people started talking about it that night. https://cardswire.usatoday.com/2018/05/02/cardinals-reportedly-wanted-josh-allen-had-deal-in-place-to-draft-him/ Nope sounds like they had their heart set on him.
  4. I believe Chris Simms was talking about it. There's a couple tweets and stories, in this topic, stating Arizona inquiring about Denver's 5th pick as they really liked Allen. Buffalo had a deal in place until Denver backed out to draft Bradley Chubb. Which in the end ended up working out better for us.
  5. A question for Bills Fans.......Which do you see, a glass that never fills or a bottle that never empties?
  6. Baker is completing 54.5% of his passes in preseason against defenses who are not game planning. How does that translate into he's a really accurate QB?
  7. So Woods had his best year last year with what I think we would both agree a better QB than Tyrod. His totals in 12 games - 56/781/13.9/5. Watkins best year, again with Tyrod at QB in 13 games - 60/1,047/17.5/9. He had 4 more catches that net an additional 276 yards & 4 more TDs with a worse QB. I'll take option two that also draws double coverage several hundred more times a year than Woods does and opens the field up for fellow teammates. Something Woods has benefited from for the last four years. It's Watkins by a long shot, it's not even close.
  8. Keane....is he new?? And also are you for reals?
  9. No one has our ammo, that's for sure. Time to pay the price and get our future QB!!
  10. This definitely could be true. It would explain a lot of what's going on with him. On the other hand if it's not.........Holy $h!t this dude's out of control. Either way someone has to step in and take control of the situation.
  11. Even if Sammy draws double coverage and doesn't have the stats. It opens up the field for everyone else. One of the things this years Bills offense desperately missed, you don't have to look any further than Shady.
  12. They desperately need some speed at WR, so bad I don't think you could put a price on it right now. They need someone that can keep teams from dropping a safety down in the box, someone like Sammy(I'm not saying Sammy , but someone who can command that attention). That opens the field up for everyone especially Shady. I don't know if that can be accomplished this year or not, but it's one of the bigger needs that would make and would make an immediate impact on the team.
  13. For the love of God, for once pull the trigger and do it. We have tried every other approach and it's been failure after failure. The Eagles just did this to get Wentz,(Admittedly the Bills have to move up further to do so) do it and be done with it. The Rams moved from 15th to the 1st pick also that year for 3 total 1st round picks 2 seconds & 2 thirds. In both cases the teams improved greatly within a 2 year span.
  14. He started a few games with the Pats*** and 5 more with the 49ers before he got that contract. The 49ers got a 5 game tryout before they made their decision. They liked his leadership, smarts in the film room and play. We don't have that luxury with AJ. There's more accomplish QBs out there that you could sign for about the same amount.
  15. He doesn't score either. Landry has 400 rec. to Watkins 192 rec. yet Sammy has more TDs 25/22. That's almost impossible!!!
  16. For what? Proving we shouldn't go after Cutler. Then you're welcome.
  17. Cutler. Total TDs 19 to 18. Is that 1 extra TD worth 10 more INTs 14 to 4? Nope, your wrong with your assessment and it's not even close.
  18. i agree they needed to move on and to get the 65th pick in the draft is a bonus, but Tyrod wasn't nearly as bad as some would lead you to believe ie Culter is better than Tyrod.
  19. They already had their rough seasons, this year will be a big step in the right direction. They very well may end up 8-8 which would be 2 times the amount of wins in the last 3 years combined. With what they have been through over the last several years, stuff like that will be a cakewalk. I'm positive their fans would agree.
  20. He is. Use the last 3 years Tyrod has played. Cutler has 44 passing TDs, 1 rushing TD & 30 INTs. Tyrod has 51 passing TDs, 15 rushing TDs & 16 INTs. Totals Cutler 45 TDs 30 INTs Tyrod 66 TDs 16 INTs.
  21. Yeah, he has a 1.4/1 TD to INT ratio that's terrible. He turns the ball over almost as much as he throws TDs. Even last year, his 12th year in the league, his numbers were about the same 19 TDs 14 INTs. Now throw the attitude on top of that, no way. He doesn't make your team better, which is why we got rid of Tyrod.
