  1. I agree they misused him. But, I think that was McD and Dorsey. I don't think they like/trusted what Beane got them. Since they kept him and could have cut him for no money I think we will see them use him more on Offense this year. I hope so for sure!
  2. I like your thoughts besides they don't believe in Hines. If they didn't believe in Hines they could have cut him with no cap penalty. I don't believe they would pay that much for a return guy. But, I could be wrong.
  3. It is the same type of safety valve if RBs get injured.
  4. Injury insurance. But, agreed, those 4 can't all be active on game day. Hines is the only special teamer of the bunch too.
  5. Wowsers, that is new to me. Great interview, thanks for sharing!
  6. Vanderjaat or Sebastian Janikowski?
  7. Agreed on everything. The Oline is better and so are the weapons. Josh will be healthier and most importantly Dorsey needs to use his weapons better. I like Cook and would like to see him get the ball more and be thrown to more. Kincaid...very cool, let's use him and all over the field! Harris is a nice piece we didn't have. Very exciting!
  8. I agree with the Tee Higgins as a "#2 WR". Gabe is a #2. It would be nice if we have a #2A and #2B and we may very well currently. Regarding Davis as a #1 on half the teams in the NFL, I am not sure. Back in the Dick Jauron and Chan Gailey days he would have been our #1 though. I also think unless Gabe Davis has an improved year AND takes a home town discount he will not be on the Bills next year. Unless the cap goes up $30 million. Even if it goes up $20 we need the money to pay for our current roster. Go Bills! Agreed on everything. Our OT may be good enough or better than we think. That is hope, but, hope isn't a good way to be successful. But, I love our roster and you can't have a perfect roster in the NFL.
  9. Well said and agreed. However it could work out for Detroit. If it does work out for Detroit it doesn't mean that they didn't miss on opportunities or it could not have been better. Regarding the Lions HC Campbell, I thought he would fail and he has not. So, maybe he keeps on trucking. Also agree with this. You need to hit on your picks.
  10. I can agree with all of that. Morse is expensive, but, very good. Hopefully he stays healthy this year and we can re evaluate the position and cap next year. We do have options on the roster to play C. If we pick in the 20's next year and we should, we can probably grab the best C.
  11. Totally agree. A very good place to save cap money. This cap money could be a linebacker or DT for 2023. Jabari Greer was a good one. I thought Pat Williams was a 5th round pick, but, checked and you are right. Great call! Hopefully we can find a huge DT as an UDFA this year!
  12. And, he is 6'2" Thanks for the nice, clear breakdown
  13. I would like a DT # 1 technique to be bigger than DJ Dale's 6'1" and 300 lbs.
  14. True we only have 5, but, Dalton Kincaid is sort of a WR for us. Always add talent and playmakers. Thoughts on roster spots, how many roster spots for TE/FB, RB and WR? We absolutely can have 6 WRs and use them. I think a WR is a good idea. My thoughts on Gabe Davis are... he is a good #3 or 2B. If he has a good year, he may be too expensive to resign. If he doesn't we have a hole. So, we probably need to resign him this offseason to something like $10 M/year or he won't be on the team next year.
  15. I want a big DT for short and long term on the Bills. DaQuan Jones is solid, but, old. Charlie Jones was mentioned here multiple times, so, I looked him up. He seems intriguing. https://www.nfl.com/prospects/charlie-jones/32004a4f-4e16-0287-5859-a7165d1cc115 I am not sure what Shakir is on our team. I am a big fan, but, not sure if he is outside or slot. I think he can play both and well. But, think he may be best as a slot. But, not sure why we didn't play him more in the slot last year. If Shakir is not thought of as a slot, then we should draft a slot WR.
  16. Wowsers, good call on the positions. I like the list of positions. My rankings on your positions... 1. Large DT Big drop off 2. Swing tackle 2B. CB - agree on the CBs left and our ability to coach them up 3. Maybe a Safety 4. WR - not sure we have a roster spot for one - on another note we could be a good destination for UDFA WRs I want a big DT for short and long term on the Bills. DaQuan Jones is solid, but, old.
  17. I liked Tippman and Schmitz too. I didn't like Torrence in the 1st, but, I am good with him in the 2nd. I hear what you are saying exactly. But, I think the value is too good to pass on at #59.
  18. No, keep them, we will need them. The biggest IOL in the draft does not play C. I do not know for sure, but, I don't think a C has ever been this big in the NFL. He is a G and Guard only. Very excited about the pick.
  19. True dat! I used to follow the draft more. James Hardy...I would have been fine taking him in the first, then we got him in the 2nd and I thought we won the lottery! I have his jersey. Then he opened up gun fire and killed his father, then he died. Sorry if this sounds superficial, but, he was a bust.
  20. I am not confident that is the case. It might have been a good run with Donahoe if the Bills traded up and drafted Rotho something. It would have changed the trajectory with the butterfly effect. Donahoe had some good qualities. Ralph Wilson would have trusted him more if we had Roethlisberger and had more success. In all reality, if we drafted Roethlisberger the last 20 years would be totally different.
  21. Denney and Reed were JAGs. Wire was a useful late round pick. Which Williams? Was that Mike Williams at #4?
  22. Totally agree and especially with a year of rehab as well. However, RB was more valued then, but, I still don't get it and still don't like it.
