  1. IMO the only way I see him on our team next year is if they sign him in the next month. If he goes off this year he will price himself out of Buffalo for a WR2. If he does not go off we will look elsewhere. I guess there are other situations, but outliers. My opinion is he goes off this year Agreed
  2. Interesting. Some more thoughts on your opinion and mine. Anderson seems more interior and possible Center. He is on the Bill Depth chart as 3rd string Center. Maybe a stash for the year with Bates as 2nd Center. Van Demark is back up swing tackle and we probably need another T. Dodson, hmmm. He is similar to Klein that he plays well running downhill and with the play in front of him. In coverage, he is not great. If we sign Kirksey I don't know if we need to cut Dodson. But, McD does not seem to like Dodson especially of the last 3-4 weeks. He continues to lose favour.
  3. I think I see us with one roster spot. Let's call it two though for the purpose of your comments. I think Kirksey is an option. For KR guys, yes we have options, agreed. Regarding OT. First is Alec Anderson a Tackle. I think he is. I like we took the young bucs in Alec Anderson and Van Demark. I think it says a lot for their talent and the organization. With that said, I don't think we are looking to add a OT. Unless one of excellence falls out of the sky and that won't happen. So, I think we may add a MLB or KR.
  4. Good post and I like your thought process. Agreed.
  5. McD loves his Defense and using resources on it. I think he feels better than you do about our MLB and most of us feel about it. But, I do agree with you, who is our MLB. I don't think McD has faith in Dodson. I sort of did with Dodson a few weeks back, but, not now. Bernard has not been playing. Spector is hurt. Who plays MLB. Klein is cut. I think Klein is our starting MLB week one. Just a hunch and calling it.
  6. Isabella is sitting in the parking lot for our PS squad and week one call up. I believe this because I agree with you. Although Kincaid is sort of a receiver. Practice squad Practice squad IMO
  7. 39! It is so amazing and crazy!!! It is unbelievable!!!
  8. Ok, I like this and agree with most. Anything I disagree with are the tough choices and who knows what is best. Here are my questions. Once again, I like your thoughts. 1. Quessenbury. Does he make the team. I like his versatility. Is he good enough. I think he makies the 53. Do we want 8 or 9 Olinemen. 2. Von Miller. Before I get into D Linemen. Does Von Miller go on PUP and not be on the team AND not practice for 4 weeks. I am leaning to him on the 53 and maybe not playing for weeks, but, practicing. Him helping the team, teaching and pushing vs the 53rd player. I say no PUP. 3. D line. How many can you keep. You have 10 and Von Miller on PUP for 11. I have 12 very good D Linemen --> DE Kingsley Jonathan - I think he is very good and we can't get him to the PS. I also think he is better than others --> DE Shaq Lawson - I like him a lot and think he is very important. Vet minimum? I think so. I think we need to stash him on the PS and can --> Kingsley and Shaq are in the 53 category and where it gets tricky 4. Cam Lewis. I don't think he gets to the PS. I think he is better than most think. I think Cam needs to be on the 53. But, who do you cut instead. Tough call. 5. Baylon Spector. If you don't put him on PUP he needs to take a spot on the 53 and makes things harder. I agree he goes on PUP. 6. Adding Von Miller and Cam Lewis we need to cut 2 players. --> Shaq Lawson to PS, Kingsley Jonathan to 53 (even swap) --> AJ Klein to PS --> one other cut, not sure who it is. I think Quessenbury can be PS and who cares if he gets scooped up --> love the depth and talent --> Go Bills!
  9. Well that was the beginning of Peterman's career. The longer it goes and this badly is the amazing part. But, yes, the Bill starting him 4 times was concerning.
  10. 39?! That is the most amazing stat on so many levels!
  11. Keenum by default, Hart can't come back. Can he? Our Oline is much improved. We have to cut some decent back ups. Hart can't come back or I will lose all faith in Beane or think Hart has something on Beane.
  12. I agree they are going to bring a QB in. Based on Kyle Allen's off/preseason and trying to bring in Trey Lance I think Beane will get a new QB in town. Agreed. Also, if they can't get Allen on the PS some other team is a disaster that signs him.
  13. Let's just say Tua had zero previous head trauma, was right handed, 5 inches taller, could throw the ball more than 20 yards and was an excellent QB, he still would not be as good as Josh Allen. PS. Haha, did Tua practice falling better in the offseason? His Left Tackle won't play all the games. The Tua practicing falling better comments always make me laugh, but, they are sort of true. PPS. I hope Tua has a mediocre season and the Dolphins pay him a huge contract. I would not argue with these 3 and arguably add WR due to the Dolphins top 2, but, like our depth better. So, WR is a coin flip. Coaching will be seen this year. I hope the Bills coaching excels.
  14. Disagree on the Jets being a bigger worry than the Dolphins. Jets D is very good. Aaron Rodgers, the Oline and probably overall comradery issues have me less concerned. Some thoughts on the AFC East... - can Dorsey be an effective OC - will the Bills D be better with McD coaching it - can Tua stay healthy - can Aaron Rodgers make a smooth transition to the Jets If all of those things happen or do not happen, the Bills are still the favourite and need to be beaten by the rest to prove they aren't the team to beat
  15. The QB isn't close. Also, IF Tua can't play the Dolphins are in a bad spot at QB. WR they are better at maybe WR1 and are better at WR2. Yes, I like our depth after that better than the Dolphins. Some areas on D the Dolphins are better or arguably better. Landslide, no way. JA17 breaks any ties. And, we are the Division leaders until proven otherwise. The Dolphins are good though. They could win the division. If they do or they don't they are still legit Super Bowl contenders. This is VERY true. Beane has built a very deep team top to bottom. We had a lot of injuries last year like never before in this regime. We should be healthier this year and are deeper too! Go Bills!
  16. Haha, maybe, maybe not. Based on the trade, you are right, he will. My thought is nobody will claim him if they try to have him clear waivers and go to the practice squad. I am being silly. But, his stock has really fallen, very surprised they got a 4th for him with the cap hit to be a #3 QB. Totally agree RG3 had a good season. Shanahan ruined him. But, I get your point and RG3 is in the team photo for worst trades ever.
  17. He did look good in the Steelers game. It was pleasantly surprising. Agreed on a better asset than trade chip based on that game. But, let's see where the Bills have him on the depth chart with the final 53. Seems like he will be on it unless he is traded.
  18. I can't argue with you or your frustration. The Dline high picks that don't play and rotate bother me the most. Groot was a good pick, the rest including Oliver I don't care for.
  19. I am pumped about Kincaid. Dorsey still concerns me until proven otherwise. Go Bills!
  20. I believe it is the last year of Jones' contract. He originally signed a two year deal. I am surprised they didn't extend him "to keep" him longer. There must be reason or it would have already been done. Maybe he does not want to extend his deal. Also, the Bills MAY think they can resign him this offseason (if they want to) for less money. Less money at that position at his age is a possibility. IMO Jones is very good and very important to our team, fyi.
