The idea that Whaley is on thin ice is more hope than anything. Maybe he is. But he just led the coaching search! That seems evidence to the contrary. Moving on from Tyrod means Whaley has sold Pegulas on a reset.

I never said the rookie QB has to start. And I also never advocated that we draft another EJ.

The Bills went 6-10 and then went 9-7 after dropping Fitz. And we played a terrible EJ and Kyle Orton.

That's an interesting standard. Demand that we only can play a QB if they are better than Tyrod right away. This team and many of its fans love treading water. I want to build a powerhouse team. Who cares if we win 2 less games with a QB that can win a playoff game the following year? Anyways, none of our opinions matter. Tyrod decision has probably already been made. Now all you can do is hope the team goes your way.

If Childress comes here it's not because he is looking for the next thing. It's an explicit favor from Andy Reid to Sean. Childress would be great and hopefully he could get us a great QB coach.

If Childress is coming that would be because Andy Reid is helping out his coaching family. Childress knows everything Reid is doing in KC.

The reason why it is hard for the Bills is they don't spend enough resources on the position. We also need to get Terry Pegula to bring in a QB czar. Pay the best QB scout in the NFL 2 million a year to help us draft and develop someone. Bills have only drafted 2 QB's in the top 2 rounds in TWENTY YEARS. That is gross negligence and I would like it to end now.

It's not as hard as the Bills make it. You have to prioritize the position. I also don't want Doug Whaley making the call. We need a QB guru to assist him. Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, Derek Carr, and Dak Prescott have all been there for Buffalo. Just last year Bills didn't get Prescott because they spent 3 picks on a linebacker.

I doubt this guy just yells at people all the time. I also think that players wanted discipline. Well, here you go.

Good QBs play early now. We are going to get someone in the draft that is not a project like Cardale. I wouldn't assume the Bills are on the same schedule they were on with Rex. I tend to think there will be a reset.

The hire will not be about Tyrod but about developing a QB we draft in 2017 or 2018. I would prefer youth and getting someone on their way up but McDermott seems to be favoring experience.

Both have been QB coaches. Makes sense and what I expected.

Rex could only coach a team that drafted high IQ football players. He did well with Mangini (Belichick disciple) players. Rex would actually be a great D coordinator under Belichick if Patricia left. Of course BB would never do that but it would work.

Browns will go with Garrett number one.

He is friends with Frazier which scares me. I really hope McD calls the plays and helps direct the defense. If he delegates too much or lets Frazier call the plays I will be very frustrated. Frazier's D peaked years ago and now NFL teams carve up Tampa 2 Defenses. Brady would laugh if we do a simple Tampa 2 on him. Aaron Rodgers was calling out Frazier's playcalls to his team they were so obvious.

I'm trying to help us get a QB and am liking the Tampa 2 more and more for that cause!
