It was a close game. The drops are huge for the Chiefs because they don't make big pass plays down the field. They don't have Antonio Brown or a Julio Jones. When you drop 1st downs you can't keep the ball and get yards yourself. The Chiefs gameplan could have worked fine but you have to catch the ball. And yes, I am arguing the Chiefs side. You can do either as you are for Pittsburgh.

You don't get TD's for entering the red zone or close. No participation trophies. You need to cross the goal line. Anyways, in a close game both teams can claim if these 2 or three plays were made. That's what we got, a close game.

Yes, the Patriots are better than the Chiefs. I think that is commonly understood. But back to how the Patriots won their first 3 Superbowls, they looked a lot more like a better version of the Chiefs and were exactly this, "that for the most part rely on the other team making mistakes." Good defense, special teams, and some timely plays on offense won 3 Suerbowls. The pass happy Patriots have only won 1 Superbowl.

TT is not going to get a chance in LA Rams, Jacksonville, or Denver. Sorry, it's not happening. Denver just spent a 1st round pick on a QB and have another young QB. Rams drafted a guy #1 overall and hired a coach specifically to make him better. NFL teams don't all live in the now like some Bills fans on this board. Many of these teams are trying to win by drafting and developing their QB. Yeah, I know this sounds crazy.

Why assume we have a much better defense? We could have Kyle Williams gone, we changed scheme for linebackers and secondary, and now need to add players for the new defensive scheme. Aaron Williams can claim he's coming back, he's injured every year. Gilmore could be gone. The defensive coordinator in his last two stints finished with some of the worst defenses of all time.

Andy Reid has been focused on getting the ball out so quick that it almost makes the offensive line pass protection obsolete(yes, I did see the Harrison play!). This is ahead of the curve thinking and Childress could implement this with the right QB. There might be someone in the draft who has a fast release and can deliver the ball quickly and accurately to a plethora of targets. Bills should be all about Adams and Hooker at 10. AWill is a bonus player if he comes back. The last 2 years demonstrate how bad the defense is without good safety play.

Good points. The Pegulas are not short term thinkers. Rex was gone because they no longer believed he was the right person for the job. Whaley will only be gone soon if the Pegulas are sold on getting to the wild card at any cost. I don't think that's what is going on.

Where did I say we won games because of QB play? Point was that Bills have shown you can win more than 3 games with replacement QB play. The idea that removing Tyrod means 3 years of 3 and 13 records is crazy overreaction.
