  1. I would take Sanjay Lal if we had to go in house.
  2. Good. Now we sink or swim. Didn't want Musgrave.
  3. Danny Crossman. The man, the myth, the legend.
  4. Yeah Bill Belichick is a way more awkward speaker. McDermott speaks in coach cliches but you can tell he quickly processes what's in front of him. I do like how he mentioned indirectly that he understands the fans because he grew up an Eagle fan. They boo Santa Claus so he knows what will happen if he messes up.
  5. Danny Crossman. No one can let this guy go!!
  6. Ready to play McDermott Bingo?! From Jeremy White on WGR... I got attention to detail, sleep at office, and fundamentals. http://mfbc.us/m/vewat
  7. Bills welcome new coach. https://www.facebook.com/BuffaloBills/videos/10154674952005659/
  8. Well, seems like these small details don't worry the Bills.
  9. I think the Chiefs could provide a good offensive mind. I hate the idea of Cardale yelling out 15 word play calls.
  10. Sounds dangerous.
  11. Unfortunately category 2 is very limited. Many NFL teams are blocking their QB gurus from moving on. See Oakland and Philadelphia. So this category you can can't grab the next diamond as easily.
  12. Maybe Andy Reid can do us a solid and give us the next great offensive mind. Please help out your pupil Andy!
  13. Reading comprehension not your strong suit. I'm skeptical. Still waiting on OC and QB before I have a strong opinion.
  14. I really like the Pegulas and they have done a great job in developing downtown. I think their vast wealth insulates them a bit and makes them much more sensitive than their fans. They are not used to people, prior to owning these teams, talking back to them.
  15. Hopefully our local reporters can ask a few football questions so we might learn how much McDermott will delegate to coordinators on D and O. How much input he will have, etc.
  16. If the broad middle assumes every move the Bills make works out then cheers to you my friend.
  17. Maybe we should just roll the dice and see what Sanjay Lal can do. Don't want scraps that have been picked over.
  18. Hey, I want to drink the Koolaid. But Leslie Frazier is a huge red flag for me. I hope you are right and he is just there to provide support and structure for an attacking D. But I also fear McDermott leaning on Dick Jauron 2.0 for advice on punting and playing not to lose.
  19. Who ran the D in Carolina? Rivera or McDermott? My understanding is that McDermott ran the D. Can you understand the possibility he will do the same thing Rivera did for him?
  20. I will give you that there is a possibility that he defers to Mcdermott who is the head coach. But this guy's preference is a conservative Tampa 2 D. We will see what happens but I find it very possible that the younger McD will let Jauron, I mean Frazier, run the D his way.
  21. I know his background. Please tell me what D he ran when he was the Head Coach, not when he started out.
  22. Bills always seem to do stuff backwards. Where is the OC? Where is the QB coach? Instead we are hiring o-line coach and cover 2 guy for D.
  23. He is a much worse fit in the McD or Cover 2.
  24. If we play the Tampa 2 then we just spent 3 picks on a linebacker that can only play 2 downs and there is no way Ragland plays mike unless he is Hercules in his recovery.
  25. Starting to get nervous. McDermott loses his main get on the offensive side of the ball and now 2 out of the three up and comers for D coordinator are not here. I liked the idea of the Texans secondary coach. Would bring some Belichick tree into the mix. Big moves still waiting at OC and QB. We replace our o-line coach after doing a great job. None of this looks like a great follow up.
